  1. I would very much appreciate this feature. Changing Hair-style, face and body features would help to keep the looks of your characters interesting and fresh. Also with one character, i am not happy with that 'body-builder' body-type, i was looking for a tall, but slender type. So implementation of such a feature in an upcoming update would be simply great.
  2. I would very much support it, because i absolutely don't like the colors of most jedi stuff. So i do not feel comfortable wearing most outfits and am only wearing 'least worse'-compromises. Not sure though how they actually wanna implement that on texture-based models, but such option was already in the game and i didn't have the chance to see it in action. Emmanuel lusinchi was talking about 'unify color to chest piece' to make it back into the game within a few months... SWG was miles ahead of this with the option to craft your armor AND choosing the colors for it.
  3. They must avoid any situation that would accumulate too many players in one spot to avoid the FPS disaster that the illum fight clubbing V1 resulted in. The hero engine is simply not capable to render too many characters, which makes it an utterly bad choice in the first place, but that cannot be changed anymore. For some unexplainable reason i am however confident, that they will find a solution that achieves something ok with 1.7 somehow. My dream of 'real' world PvP looks different though...
  4. You might wanna try the bcdedit method. It helped very frequent DC issues for me. It would be welcome though, if this issue could be fixed from BW's side, because the memory leak might also deteriorate overall performance unnecessarily. See also here: http://www.swtor.com/de/community/showthread.php?t=427820
  5. There is much discussion about the actual server lag. On illum PvP i would say the real problem is to a lesser extent the server lag, but either memory leak or just too long render queues for the engine. I see that everytime i crash to desktop after the frame rate went down to 1 FPS or periods of 4 seconds freezed screen and my buddy next to me in the same room still has an okayish framerate. This clearly shows it's a problem of the client's graphics processing. Bioware just went way too high polys on the characters for big PvP battles to render okay. It's been a game development dominated by "graphic designers" and not by "game designers". I guess with cutscene-like high quality textures enabled the group size limit would be 2 and warzones would be 2 vs 2
  6. Very well brought to the point. After having played 300+ warzones you kind of ask yourself why you are actually doing this. Single alternative is illum PvP which is a central assault cat and mouse game at best and at silly framerates. A Massive Multiplayer Online Game should also provide massive "playable" PvP battles, cuz this is where the real fun is. When i have seen 30 vs 20 base farming situations, many players crash to desktop after watching a PvP slideshow @ 1 FPS. No future patch by BW will be able to put that lame game engine so much on steroids to significantly improve big battles. So this thread will certainly be repeated with the title "Two Years in ...." (If the game survives that long that is) and nothing will have changed except 2-3 warzones being added.
  7. Tell your buddy to show you one BEFORE he equips them into his armor, so that it would show the manufacturer's name. If he evades that simple request, you know what to think of him ... Hypothetically it is being rumored that higher tier mod schematics are supposed to drop in ops, would be cool if someone could finally deliver a screenshot.
  8. Will you open a new thread like this every time the servers will be undergoing maintenance? )
  9. Also disagreed. Rather than experiencing dozens of failure moments when RE-ing purples in SWTOR, SWG crafting pretty much always brought you forward towards your craft with every step thereby making the crafting enjoyable. Also the fact that it was based on resource quality rather than resource quantity like in SWTOR made it much more efficient. My SWG harvesters actually multiplied my resource yield where missions for grade6 mats in SWTOR yield less than when i drive around and collect the stuff myself by hand ?! Furthermore, in SWG you were able to buff yourself to get more criticals etc. I wish the SWTOR devs would have adapted parts of the pioneering SWG crafting system, as i am very fed up with the current system.
  10. Synthweaving/Armormech : Possibility to RE any armor piece (crafted and worlddrop) to an orange item. It would take 5 years until all orange items that are supposed to be available also as schematics drops in some raid at that rareness.
  11. Though i can not speak for Hardmode FPs, i did notice playing toons of 3 different crafting professions that the probability to loot a schematic related to the crafting profession of the looting toon is either very very low or excluded since i never looted a schematic of the same class. A biochem friend told me however that he looted 2 for his profession since game start, so it seems to be just a very low probability, which is okay with non-BoP-schems that can just be mailed to guild members, but if that happens in a hardmode FP and you get a BoP-schematic you couldnt even give to friends, well that is highly frustrating. So i also support the notion to call for a change of the BoP attribute of schematics in HM FPs.
  12. Jedi Knight Phase : "you are not eligible to enter at this time" I am a republic player, jedi guardian, Level 50 Maybe i need 10.000 Lightside points? I am currently grinding the Esseless to get me from 9200 to 10000. But i cant see that for a reason since low level players can also access it. I have no idea why this occurs. EDIT: I should get more sleep and play less. I have based my orientation on directions i found in a written description about the Vault, that had me assume it would be where the actual class had taken place, which explains why it was locked. After thorough search of the location i found the correct entrance. Thanks a lot for trying to help. The issue is thereby solved.
  13. Forum search did not yield a result. I have the problem that i am Level 50, just got the 3rd matrix shard from Illum and wanted to put them together in the Lost Assembly Vault on Coruscant to a matrix cube. But i cant enter the room (red energy shield) (not eligible). Is there something i have to do first to get access? I would appreciate any input on this. Chances are that my char is bugged and i am in need of help from a CSR to resolve the issue Thanks.
  14. I can just confirm that. A friend that came over wondered why i triple or quadruple tapped every ability key i pressed during a fight, which i kind of taught myself to do subconsciously to make the ability fire. The defense animation when parrying/blocking should not initiate GCD and should be interruptable immediately when the player wants to attack. Attack>Defense When the player is on the run or simply not attacking its fine to see deflecting lightsaber moves, but ONLY then. A fix for this should be top priority.
  15. The light side wearables most of all look all very similar. Makes players harder to differentiate. There is some dark side stuff that looks much nicer, but can't be worn due to the non-sensical side restriction. In SWG you could choose between many different colors for armor/clothes while crafting- It would have been nice to see that implemented into SWTOR. In most armor pieces i actually dislike the colors here. So at 400 synthweaving, i am clueless what armor to make that i find truly optically pleasing.
