Basically the principle behind a "support" class is one that provides no direct impact on a fight. Majority of people want to feel like THEY are the ones responsible for success. Tanks because they are taking all the damage, Healers because everyone dies with out them, Dps because they make **** die. Support just helps them do that better. as a result of this mindset "modern" MMo's tend to not use this class archetype, simply because so few want to play it.

actually there is a pretty sound physics rooted explanation for the operation of "lightsabers" See it is in fact, plasma contained in a powerful magnetic field that loops back on itsself and is maintained as stated previously by the modulation and focusing crystals in the hilt. this is actually entirely feasible, the only point where it falls apart is the sheer amount of power it would require to maintain. Of course one could postulate that a society that can travel at near light speed probably can miniaturize fusion reactors or something. point is, with a viable power source, it is a not impossible to make plasma behave that way.

THIS. Seriously. interrupt force storm, every time she tries to cast it, this will prevent kehm from die'n. use electrocute as a second interrupt, reset it with the 20min cd if necessary. if you do this, the fight is cake

as a sorc, no boss fight was even difficult. as a sin, zash was trouble some, but you really just gotta use interrupts on her

The trouble with separate down times is that its more expensive and slightly harder to coordinate logistically. not by much for say, two servers, but when dealing with server banks as complex as the ones an MMO runs on i'm sure its justifiable.

I just want to point out that i find it amusing that you are blaming bioware for this. Bioware developed, and continues to develop the game but they do not own the servers. EA does. Also you are silly and should go out side and play some sports during down time. Or go have sex. There is more to life than MMO's
