Before the original trilogy, not after.

Honestly, I have no clue how the story would continue from this point onward. I believe KOTET got a more or less satisfying ending, which also nicely concluded the events. We are the Emperor, the most influential and one of the strongest beings in the galaxy. Hell, even the ending credits theme played for the first time in SWTOR history... I am really curious what is going to happen next. Oh, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed the plenty Lich King references (powerful throne, "there must always be...") from Warcraft.
