I just used Vette and dealt with having to rest after every other group. When you get Force Camo it gets easier since you can just drop threat and let the companion tank.

I am a subscriber and my place in queue jumped around from 2800, down to 2500, then 1100, then I was in. All in the span of 2 minutes. Works for me, and hopefully you too.
