  1. People don't use it because people don't use it. I'd assume most people flag themselves a couple of times only to notice that they never get a group from it, and then they stop. Anyone trying to make a group using it, notices that no one ever flags themselves.

Its not just gonna magically happen though people need to set their comments and be patient I usually try to invite people when i see they need something i need idk its probably because im used to the system from FFXI that i find it so easy i for one think it will work flawlessly once more people give it a chance

  2. Why do people never leave a lfg comment on there message thing. It's beyond me. This is Almost a group finder in itself.

People are stuck in the old ways and are afraid of change the system BW is using atm is kinda like the FFXI system which has worked fine going on almost 10 years. I always try to use it when i need it but i dont think people should complain about a game needing a group finder thats what MMOs are all about being social and talking to each other. With time when people stop pouting about making it different they will start to use it more until then its the occasional shout in general also idk why people complain about players shouting for a group in general its called general chat for a reason lol its there for anything. People dont leave comments because they think the flag is enough but if they made a comment it would help them get into groups much easier if people knew ahead of time what group they were looking for.

also not saying your complaining dont take it that way

  3. tattooine was the spike for me, that i can remember. It slowly rose, actually koriban seemed to have the least(im a sith inquisitor) then it slowly rose, then tattooine capped at around 80, then boom, alderaan had almost none.

But even then they all seem very lifeless.

Is Tatooine a world with Instances? idk because i never payed much attention to that but if there are multiple instances then you might be in the lower player instance try changing to another instance i think the player number is the total of all instances on that planet. I for one think the instance system is great if the area is too populated i can always switch instance in hopes of lower people that would have been great in FFXI since most NMs took days to respawn or hours instances give you better chances of getting done what you need but besides that I would think that its from being in a low instance or just people spread all around tatooine is kinda big when you look at it i still just think it will be a matter of time before you start to see more people and it becomes lively. Another thing with the instances is it keeps down lag on FFXI the main hub for everyone was Jeuno which was always 300+ in that one zone and it wasnt too big so you can imagine the lag at times but all the same i think its just instances and time

  4. the most i've ever seen, was 80 or so, on tattooine, one day.

currently im on alderaan, today there was 36 while i was playing.

the highest I've seen was around 190 on tython the numbers on the planets only get lower as you get farther there were about ~40 players on Alderaan when i was there, the game just needs more time and we will see more players on each planet as the standard player progresses farther.

  5. Thank you for the suggestion!

I went into clientdefaults file and edited my resolution from the default to 1200x900, which is my current setting, and it had no effect. So I tried to take it down to 1024x768 and then to 800x600. These also had no effect.

Would you mind explaining what you mean by windowed mode?

instead of fullscreen=true make it fullscreen=false

  6. The games default resolution is out of the range your monitor can handle go into the games folders Electronic arts--> The Old Republic--> swtor---> retail client and edit the clientdefaults.ini to your desktop resolution or to windowed mode once the game starts edit the settings in game to what you want
