Watchdog VM
Sometimes there is an extra beam after degausus, which results in a tank dying. There are no mines left to intercept the beam and u can't use a mine on the ground. Should be fixed
We compensated for that with Sage God Bubble intercept.

If you have not read the R-4 gearing post yet, I encourage you to do so!
Please leave general feedback here on how the gearing process feels as you complete R-4.
My feedback would be to add the Blue gear that can be upgraded to 340 to all current nim bosses. This will allow those that cannot clear R4 in HM to at least make it to the blue 340 level. This will also eliminate a large amount of complaining that you will see on the forums at launch of the raid. Still require the SM tokens to upgrade said pieces.

can we get the new gear pieces on a vendor so we can actually test the new gears effectiveness ?

SM is tuned to tight at the end. With a group finder group comp of two tanks two heals and 4 dps the check is so tight. I highly recommend adding at least 5 additional seconds to the final cast time. I don’t have any issues with the rest of the fight.

There wasn't a one size fits all approach. For instance the Ravagers exploit they didn't do anything to people that used it, just some of the people that propagated it, let instances stay open, pass around the lockouts, etc. Folks that just went in a got loot really weren't touched, Back when Nefra NiM was an exploit, people could go in and 1 or 2 man 16M NiM. Gear wasn't removed from everyone that I'm aware of, let alone banned. They've always been selective on who they go after. My guess, with the game as old as it is, with the issues they've had with 7.0 and dwindling sub numbers they won't do anything to people who did it. This exploit has been around for years. If they didn't care about people doing it 5 years ago, I doubt they'll care too much about it now.
They cared enough to finally fix it haha. Not that I care either way. I didn’t use it.

White Knighting terrible design choices is really sad and pathetic.
Maybe there is more to it than just a simple fix. Why not be happy you can equip your cartel market items now. Why whine about everything?

Todays very late and not very functional update to add Weapons to Outfitter, but not providing support for Combat Styles shows how ineffectual BioWare's management is as understanding their own systems and adding new features.
If we had Mod-able gear the problem we are experience with Weapon appearance, outfitter, and combat styles would be moot because you would just use the weapon you want and Loadouts would change it based on Combat Style.
Show you give a crap about the game and players and just revert all current gear to mod-able gear.
1. Mod-able gear is coming with the new operation.
What is the problem with the combat styles ? As a sage it only allows me one lightsaber. Based off my combat choice.

Yeah, I love doing HM Ops and HM Flash Points. Now I cannot do them. And I been a casual player for about year now, so it will take me too long to get the Purple 326 gears with the current gearing system they have now. It really sucks for me now. I stopped playing SWTOR 3 weeks ago because of it. I think I will wait for a year or more before I come back.
Why is it so hard to get gear ⚙️ If you like HMs. Do a few FPS to get blues. That or wait and do HMs to get your blues. Either way it’s not hard to get 326 in green. Which is what you are meant to have to enter HM ops.

2. The trends seen here (increases and decreases in percent) are representative for all players, because the sample-size on steam is a statistically significant group.
how can you prove that ?
-
Getting a full 326 gear only takes a month or two playing very casually and that's too much grinding? How fast did it use to be before?
exactly, Full rakata 330 in a month but i am not a casual player.

how does steam measure people that dont use steam ? just curious. most people in my guild dont bother with it.

Seen it before.
Steam charts and MMO pop websites don't lie. People are leaving faster than new subs are joining.
Omg you are totally correct. with only 10 mil players and 100k per day the game is dead.

Would it be too much to ask so that non level 80s not be able to queue for Master Mode Flashpoints, seeing as they don't get bolstered to level 80 stats or locking it to level 80 like operations are now. Also making it so you have to have a certain item rating to queue for this harder content as it's not like a Veteran Flashpoint where you don't need a heals or tank or even decent gear to finish this quickly. Master Modes seem to be on par with Veteran Mode difficulty operation bosses, thus making it so non 80's really have no business being in Master Mode Flashpoint's. Just last night i had a level 70 get grouped with us thinking their level 70 400 hp ticks would be able to keep the group alive, when we all had over 350k hp.
It’s no worse than getting those dps and healers that can only do 3k of each or the tank that can’t hold agro to save there life. People forget MM is hard.
-
No to both.
The game is not now any different than i have observed in leading up to the expansion or for some months prior. WZ pops still pop even as a solo player, FP still pops almost instantly using group finder. The number of fleet instances is not different from any time in recent months/years.
People have been saying its dying for years, yet its still here.
A lot of people came back for 7.0, then bailed due to not liking it, leaving the same people that were here prior still playing.
At best, the difference is negligible in observation.
How dare you disagree and point out clear reasons why. I myself have only done 2 ops and 3 mmfps today in this dead game.

I don’t PVP but for pve the tk blitz spec and tactical is by far the best tactical for TK sage.

What are your pieces with Accuracy and how did you obtain them? I would appreciate pieces to be described following this example:
326, Purple Thyrsian, Accuracy, Chest
I have the following and am wondering about how to get the 4 required Rakata Accuracy pieces: (might need Pummeler or Healer pieces)
326, Purple Rakata, Accuracy, Head
326, Purple Thyrsian, Accuracy, Chest
326, Purple Thyrsian, Accuracy, Legs
326, Purple Thyrsian, Accuracy, Offhand
I have the following.
Head chest ear and implant from force lord. Gloves from pummler.

Sorry I disagree with all of you. MMFP are
Still easy if you know your class and you are not garbage. Requirements are about 11k dps and 12k egos which is obtainable in 306 gear. In 320 if you know your class it’s very easy. That said with the changes to Star parse the number of garbage players I see queuing is insane. Dps pulling 4K dps heals doing 8k healing. Of course your not going to clear stuff. You won’t meet any checks with players doing that. I’ve seen tanks pull 7-8k dps and out damage dps players. I don’t expect everyone to do 20-24k dps or 22k hps but if you don’t know your class don’t que for MM FP.
-
equip a 306 relic and you will always get a gear drop. RE those pieces. Works great on HM Ops as you will 100% always get a Purple Relic at 320 and get 15 HMCs per fight.
-
If you don't have 110% accuracy you are not understanding how the gear works. Very easily obtainable. i-LvL 327, 110.09% accuracy, 34.67% crit and 59.17% crit multiplier on TK Sage

I read that a lot of people have been able to complete the flashpoint. I'm curious as to how. I've played for over a week, probably have died about 100 times playing story solo. My character I'm using is Level 75 Renown 59. Even with my companion on heal mode, It is impossible to pass regardless of using heroic moment as well. For the level I'm at, there should be no way in story mode that I'm dying as much as I am. Also, I can't get passed taking the bridge after the 2nd tether. Even though I kill off everyone except for the boss, they all reappear when I get killed as if I didn't do anything. All this is doing is making playing this game extremely frustrating and I've been playing since 2012. This is ridiculous. Story mode should not be this difficult.
This is a lvl 75 FP. You want to be able to complete it at lvl 59. This is the problem with half of the population with this game.

I'm well into my Sith Lightning Sorcerer playthrough, and it's always bothered me that a bunch of your abilities require having an equipped lightsaber to use. For me, the sorcerer role doesn't need a lightsaber, and it bothers me cosmetically that it activates when I'm fighting.
Admittedly, for most missions and flashpoints, I can survive without those abilities, but occasionally I do need the lightsaber, which has caused me to keep it equipped most of the time.
Use a sword.

The problem with level sync is the hard caps. This limits gear choices and progression. Instead they should keep level sync and change it to a divider. By that I mean say you have 100 endurance. They divide that by 5%. This rewards those with better gear while not making certain gear obsolete. Healers can still use healer stims. People can still use the relics they want to use. Instead of being forced to two sets of gear for different levels of content. They could also remove veterans edge from all content as it would be based on your gear once again.
-
So max guild is 1,000 toons. Divide that by 5 let’s say, you get 200 players in this large guild. 250,000 x 5 is 1,250,000 points per person. Would be 250,000,000 points in a week. Honesty that isn’t that hard to do. Conquest is easy. I don’t do it and I got 125k in about 3 hours. That’s running FP’s. 1 single heroic and 2 ops. Imagine actually doing all the big objectives you get in a single day. I bet you could pull in a couple mil easy.
