  1. Kids don't get it. Like this guy I qouted. when enough people are gone, you got no game. Look at SWTOR at launch and then today. he and every other player MATTER !!
  2. Obviously you didn't come close to answering my question..... But you did bring up another good marketing fail. A couple of emails over several months time.... thats some high dollar marketing right there. I wonder how many other people, who had no friends online, didn't see it, and didn't come back at all. Damn shame really.
  3. So I'm a founder. I had early access for pre-launch played a good while, stuff happened had to let go of online gaming. On Nov 6 I found out some friends had come back due to your expansion, I jump on board without much thought searching for conditions to this and that. Now they are rolling up, the guild is getting spots filled for progression raiding, I am sitting on my thumbs why? Can you not understand that at this point in your games life. Alienating anyone especially folks as happy as I was to drop my dimes on your x-pack the day I knew about it.... is the same thing that has killed many MMORPG's in the past? Why would Bioware not allow every pre-order access? I'm not seeing an upside to the restrictions. Nor do I see a downside to allow all pre-orders to play. Well, so be it Bioware. You succeded in alienating a customer. Quite a few actually. My response as a consumer? Subscription cancelled. Am I quiting? Don't know yet. But (and this is open to all) please explain the marketing value, and customer retention Ideas behind this ARBITRARY early access cut-off stuff.
  4. Actually he will pass go, BioWare will not collect $200 lol it's a wonderful thing to have the power of the purse. No more money for you BW.... and the population will keep on dropping.
  5. That actually would be my intent, I'm hella surprised I came back at all. And I hate that this is the case. If I had known about it by the 2nd, we wouldn't have this discussion. But I didn't, friends said hey 12 x XP... so I jumped on board. I read enough fine print at work, my taxes, loans, credit cards, contracts.... This is a game. Meant to 100% pass my free time, what little I have. We'll see if it keeps my interest till the 9th as is. Hope so, but Doubt it.
  6. Sorry, but that is the dumbest darn thing I've ever seen from a company. pre-order, gain early access. So even if you came back, pre-ordered, subscribed... but didn't do it before the 2nd (didn't know) you get to sit back a week and suck an egg? In a week of wanting to play and not playing.... Oh wait.... I'm not gonna do that. I'll move on most likely. We'll see but .... I'm thinking Credit Card company gonna get my money back. and that's legal, I've not been delivered the full product I paid for yet.... It's just a pre-order remember.
