  1. So everyone roll om everything and everyone screw eac other over. get rid of need altogether and simply keep in "roll" each of us has 4-5 characters to level now when raiding and doing FP. Considering your Ai muppets over the people who need the gear for their actual character and are helping you get through the content. It's pretty Fing selfish.
  2. People understand what need and greed stand for. ( I used to think so anyways.) You obviously don't. People who need other peoples gear are essentially spitting in their face for the help that CLASS gave to the mission, robbing them of dropped gear for their class so a man child in space can get his mods. It will drive people to only group with people they trust and their guild. Nothing more. It's like dropping a ballot in a lottery for women's clothing as a man because you want to rip it apart to make some other piece of clothing. Just put your lottery ticket in the right draw and everyone's happy because I'm absolutely positive when an item for said type of player drops and another class rolls need on it....they also /QQ about it all the way home.
  3. The fact that this thread exists to explain why people shouldn't roll on other peoples gear no matter what childish ignorant rationale is given means I more than likely won't stick with this game. WOW community in space. That's all it seems to be.
  4. Yes. cap servers because you have to wait a few minutes to get into the game. Yes. cap faction pop because you have to wait extra time to get into PVP. Even if you do get an influx of Republic players there is no way of knowing how many will actually play PVP on how many won't, so lets start locking servers on something completely unknown and unable to determine? It isn't because "I" like it, it's because it's BAD business for a company to restrict the choices of subing players who want to play with their friends, but hey, screw that right? Maybe grow a friends list and start rolling with a crew instead of wanting all your cupcakes handed to you by BW. This argument is as old as MMO's and I can't actually think off the top of my head any game which has implemented it and not gone back on it. Give item packages or bonus rest XP to players which roll on servers that have a huge imbalance. LOOK an option that isn't locking servers! GASP! That may be enough to convince someone to roll Rep and not Imperial if they are new to the game altogether.
  5. Instead of whining about dungeon finders and arena crap people need to be bugging them for a persistent battlefield. A reason to fight each other that isn't warsong gulch.
  6. World War 2 online. It's still running. The interwebs only TRUE persistent battlefield and you can multi crew tanks, planes, boats and a massive destroyer.
  7. I'm sure it will be addressed when an adequate amount of the player base gets to 50. P/S Immersion has to do with your environment and how the game "feels". Does the game act and feel like the star wars universe. The fact that magic clothes give me stat bonuses doesn't effect immersion at all. Some dude running around with the name "SexyPokemon" sort of does.
  8. NO. And why? Not like there is any persistent battlefield or anything.... No reason to cap it unless you want to piss off new customers, but I guess you already thought of that and not your own selfish gaming experience? Pokemon is calling.
  9. Yes. We should ignore all the players in Asia. Maybe they'll shut down U.S servers in the future and keep Asia running hard and long! GO ASIA!
  10. This is a serious response? A well laid out market that is easy to use is a BAD thing because it lets people sell faster? SO you want a time sink in the game to waste peoples time even though there are better easy ways to make people not die inside whenever they want to use it? It's still early. I think we should be lucky we even have one. How many big games didn't even have one at launch? Quite a few. Including WOW I believe. (could be wrong on that.)
  11. All games have issues. All that matters is if you'll deal with them as the game evolves....if not...ditch it and go to something else. There will always be something and right now this game has no "game breaking flaws".
  12. Sounds like your Gf is a spoiled brat. (Much like so many of the newer MMO generation players.) 10 years dev compared to a few weeks. Is it even possible to compare? NOPE! Try again.
  13. No it isn't needed. I waste so much time in garbage matches because of finders. It isn't needed.
  14. Yes. A game that isn't engaging with atmosphere etc is easily replaced by anything in the same genre. An engaging story is an engaged player.
