  1. Lol it just shows this was a last minute change on Bioware's side. As always, it's false advertising. When will Bioware going to stop doing this? If you post something on the site, live with it. You can't say it was a miscommunication. If it was a typo, sure. But it's clear that you guys planned it when it was posted first and there's a change, you guys claim its a 'miscommunication'. Very bad practice Bioware!
  2. Please consider to add a couple of new flashpoints. The four HM FPs for 55 are getting boring now. Also with the Gree Event coming back, how does the event benefit those who already maxed out the reputation?
  3. Indeed, I want to feel that the $15 that I'm paying is worth it. Game Updates is the content we are paying for every month but with the upcoming 2.1, it seems that it's not the content we all wanted since we have to pay more than what we're paying every month. We are PAYING THEM to work for us. we pay monthly subscription for them to create a content. But with 2.1... meh.
  4. I'm interested to know too... I wonder if 2.1 will all be about Bioware's money making scheme. Will we get a PvE content at least? We are paying $15 a month to keep this content going for us.. not for Bioware to pull another trick from their hat again
  5. I rather pay for flashpoints, operations, new area to explore, PvP battlegrounds, etc... paying for every customization unlocks is just sad and needs to stop. Game Update 2.1 SHOULD benefit subscribers. NOT for Bioware to push their money making scheme to us. Why can't we get a real PvE / PvP content on Cartel Market? Does it always have to be cosmetics? We are not paying monthly EVERY MONTH for a Game Update that will benefit the company. It's sad to see that Game Update 2.1 is surely for the sake of Bioware raking more cash from us. What's next after 2.1? We have to pay real $ on the Cartel Market for Guild Ships? That I will not be surprised. If the next update is indeed another content that will benefit the company in a way we have to use real money again, might as well shut the game down because showing desperation in getting our real money will affect Bioware's reputation. Game Updates should be the CONTENT where subscribers will be able to benefit from and enjoy until the next one comes out. We have to pretty much pay $30 before we get a new update... and seeing how 2.1 is trash, that means what, we'll wait until August for the next update? Hopefully it will be more content based
  6. Yep, keep what you're doing Bioware. Remember, Elder Scrolls Online is coming out this year. When you see another landslide in the total subscriptions, it's not because people moved to ESO. It's because they can't tolerate much more of the cash grab the company is doing to the game and they rather put hope to a developer where they actually listen and care about subs
  7. Yep, that's what the 2 million subscribers did right? They quit when they don't like what they see. Do you think with how's the game is going now, a lot of people will still subscribe? Of course, fanboys and those who spend thousands of dollars in Cartel Market items will not care as they are hooked, as if the game is their life. But those people who wants to have actual content and feels like what they're paying is not enough, they'll quit. Let's be real here, compare the Game Update other MMOs release, like World of Warcraft. Have you seen how much content they put? and yet people still wonder why people still subscribe on that game and have a strong fanbase. content in SWTOR's game update is like 1/4 of other MMO's real Game Update.
  8. Yep, I'm talking about the Barbershop. So pretty much the next game update is solely for Bioware grabbing more of our real money. Where is the content where we subscribers doesn't have to pay more than the $15 a month we're paying for? It seems we're going to wait 6-8 more weeks for a content where we actually care to be released following Game Update 2.1 =/ That's like... $60 worth of subscription already. Yay, more money to Bioware. Looking at other MMOs, when they say 'game update' it really is a lot of content where subscribers will feel that the money they're paying for monthly is worth it.. but what about this game? It's so so...
  9. That still involves people buying the actual unlock and selling them off the GTN.
  10. The only way Bioware will listen to our plea is to boycott. Too much Cartel Market update needs to stop. It feels like everything is all about the Cartel Market and spending real money for foolish customizations that is supposed to be free. Why can't we use in-game credits instead? Out all MMOs, SWTOR is the only one that does constant update to the Cartel Market.. why? Because it's the most desperate way for a game developer to grab easy money.
  11. It would be great that instead of releasing foolish customizations on the Cartel Market, why not do quests and other things. Not all of us are playing the game just to make our character looks cool. It would be great if Bioware focuses on more content rather than the rubbish Cartel Market stuff. We get Cartel Market update like what... two times a month? What about actual game content? We are paying $15 a month... heh. I will not be surprised if months from now, we will see 'Armoring 30s' or end-game mods/armorings on cartel market. This game is going to the route of pay to win which is a shame. What is Bioware doing in this game?
  12. Well, EA laid off 10% of their workforce last week, so who knows if Bioware was affected.
  13. Pretty much the Game Update 2.1 will not benefit us in any way except them. The Customization update is purely cash grab. So subscribers have to pay for the customizations. Lol that's smart. Makeb and Cathar was supposed to be a 'free update' but was later changed to something we have to pay. One thing some people learned from Bioware now: don't believe what they say unless it's there right in front of you. Anything can change and if there's no money involved, Bioware will not do it.
  14. The problem that i see in this community is the hardcore fans are tolerating what they do. All I see here are like, 'kudos to you Bioware. Thank you for letting us know'. What about let us tell them that, 'hey bioware, every time you release a content, there are always bugs and the bugs from several months ago are now piling up.' The developer needs criticism and the community's fanboysim is not helping the game in improving. The more we tell them, take your time, the more likely they will. We are not paying them to get a patch that fixes major issues in the game weeks later. Game Update 2.0 has been out for three weeks now and it's going on four next week. What was the purpose of Game update 2.0 being on the PTS when majority of them are not addressed? If this was another MMO, you know that it will be fixed promptly because they want to keep their fanbase. Crafting is important in the game, and yet we have to wait three to four weeks for them to release it. wait, that's one month of our subscription being wasted. Without proper mats being distributed evenly, the harder for the players to gear up for ops. Bugs are annoying and those needs to be fixed promptly. We don't need to wait every Tuesday to expect a patch. Pushing a patch or hotfixes can be any day or any time.
  15. I agree with you. If we're to look at the track record and the things they've said, we can see how bad they keep their word/promises and that makes people very upset. My suggestion is, don't announce anything if its not going to happen. People wil expect and hope... Now we wonder why those millions of people who bought SWTOR left. Tsk tsk. Also, frequent patching, almost every week is bad. Look at other established MMOs. We're not yelling... We're expressing our opinions because we want this game to succeed. If we don't care, you will not see ppl complaining and that's bad. We are giving them our hard earned money and all we expect is a good service.
  16. There will be no delay if in the first place, it was thoroughly tested before proudly announcing that they'll release a patch this Tuesday. Also sure, the game is awesome but when it comes to the quality, I would say its not that good.
  17. It always fascinates me whenever they delay a patch. Do the QA or the internal testing even doing their job in making sure the patch that they're planning to release is good to go? The delay in patch always happen last minute... We wouldn't have this problem if in the first place, the QA is making sure that the patch is good to go and will not break the game... I think bioware should just wait till they fix everything and release one patch fixing all problems. And yet they wonder why SWTOR is criticized this much Please Bioware, fix the game and next time, release a content where well see less bugs. Thanks and good luck keeping your loyal customers. Don't worry ill still be here Delaying a patch last minute because QA forgot to log something shows poor quality
  18. So the patch that contains a LOT of game-breaking glitches was delayed due to this one minor issue? that sounds reasonable lol... I don't get the logic there but... it's Bioware. Let them do what they want. But I prefer to have the patch now, and wait for the fix to that one specific bug later. I guess they don't realize how much the annoying bugs right now is pissing everyone off. Heh. Godspeed Bioware.
  19. seems the bug is most likely in the cartel packs... but then, they make money from the cartel packs, so it's just reasonable for them to delay it. Also, they'll maintain to get more subscribers if they released game update 2.0 with no bugs at all. I don't see how it will attract more subscribers when all of us, subscribers, are waiting for them to release a patch to make the game playable =/ People are wasting credits on crew mission skills.. =/ that needs to be resolved ASAP.
  20. That's a bummer. Just when I thought all of the annoying bugs will be fixed by tomorrow. I guess no one tested the game update 2.0 when it was on PTS. Heh.pretty disappointing. but then, since when did Bioware released something with no bugs? Lol
  21. upcoming means next... it's the same context.. look it up. I rather see them say... in the future patches. Not upcoming because it gives people false hope once again. Heh.
  22. So I thought the crew skills for slicing and other bugged crew missions will be fixed in the 'upcoming patch'? Was that included as well or we have to wait for another week or so once again? =/
  23. Yea ScavengingCompound mission gives out a METAL. It's a bug. I hope Bioware fixes it. I have 2 99 stacks of Holinium,
