    Flyby Nerf

    Players in PVP usually have around 30 K HP. Pre Nerf Flyby did approx. 10K damage in 12 seconds if you were foolish enough to sit there for 12 seconds. Obviously most people moved out of it immediately. That is the purpose of flyby in pvp. After Nerf you would be foolish to bother throwing flyby. Hitting someone who has 30K Hp with an aoe that does 3K damage after 12 seconds is a joke. Why would anyone even bother moving out of the way. Bioware you are just so clueless.
  2. I am confused about the Flyby Nerf. From what I've heard Bioware either thought Gunslingers were just way to powerful in pvp (joke) or that Flyby was being used as a single target damage. So they nerfed it. Not only did they make it so you wouldn't use it as a single target damage, but now it useless as an AOE also. Example: Flyby now does 3901 damage in 12 seconds. Sweeping Gunfire does around 5000 damage in 3 seconds and Thermal Grenade does 2500 damage instantly What is the point of flyby? To take the one singular feature of the Gunslinger that made him worthwhile playing and totally destroy it make no sense. Even if people were using it as a single target damage, so what? it cost more energy then any other attack and the cool down was long enough where it couldn't be part of rotation. Why not just get rid of it all together if you going to make it totally useless? Really bioware, you need to get some people that actually play the game involved in the programing. I'm out of here, time for EQ2. Goodbye.
  3. If you playing pvp, dont bother making a Gunslinger. Cover mechanic completely broken now that you can be pulled in it. Not to mention that "Ready for Anything" has never worked. You are basically an immobile object waiting to be killed.
  4. Amazing, other classes get stronger. Gunslingers continue to get nerfed. PvP is so fustrating. I'm either getting pulled or ganked by stealthers. Crouch mechanics if you could actually see stealthers and not get pulled work to some extent. Without those two mechanics we are basically sitting there telling stealthers to come kill us or be pulled from where we sit to die. I'm confused, I could understand this if we were overpowered. But it's just the opposite. We have become the joke of Pvp. Oh look its a gunslinger, free kills. *** Bioware dont you play this game at all?
  5. I'm confused. Is the ability "Ready for Anything" broken? Or was it just designed to be totally, absolutely useless? No matter what level it is at, I almost never see a stealther coming. Even at 30 I still get surprised, kicked in the nuts, stuned, attacked, stuned and killed. When Bioware first talked about this ability it seemed like such a great idea, Finally if we are crouched and ready for a stealther we would be able to see them before they killed us. Nice going there Bioware, fooled us again didn't you. Another useless ability for Gunfighters ... lol
  6. Gunslinger has no survivability in pvp. Basically a paper canon. Any op or assasin can take you down in seconds. Cover is basically a come hither to any stealther. Sorcs can 1 x 1 you and just when you think you have them they speed out of your los. Used to have the ability to not be pulled when you were in cover. They took that away. Gave us the ability to see stealth, except when the stealthers use their add bonus to stealth ability, which they always do when they see you in cover. So you still dead.
  7. Gunslinger sucks in pvp. Supposed to be able to see stealthed while crouched. Well that never works. And now you can get pulled while crouching. So basically you just dead meat in pvp
  8. Took away Gunslingers ability not to get pulled in crouch. PvP has become a joke for Gunslingers. Supposed to be able to see stealth while crouched. At lvl 30 stealth detection still get constantly ganked by stealthed Imps and now the added bonus of getting pulled. Great job guys, way to destroy a class in pvp. Excellent
  9. Are Maradur's overpowered in pvp. a) just fought in a voidstar. Three ranged on one maradur. No healers in area. maradur held us at bay for over 30 seconds.. doing damage and self healing. b) look at lowbies. Almost 80 percent of all new imps are maradurs. c) High Dps, self healing, stuns, force charge... yup.. I just rolled a maradur myself. Why would anyone play any class other then maradurs in pvp.

    Is a Stun immunity going to be added to pvp in Star Wars? Nothing more fun then constantly being stun locked. Stun, (clear stun) Stuned again.. knocked to 1/2 health, try to get one shot off.. stunned and killed. Last game i was stun locked...killed three times in succession. Most MMOs add a timer after you have been stuned that makes you immune to being stuned again for a period of time ranging from 10 seconds to 30 seconds. Might even make players become more skilled rather then just hitting stun button constantly.......
  11. Last few weeks pvp has almost totally disappeared on my server. Lucky if I can get into 4-5 matches a night. Nothing before 7 pm. Nothing after 9 pm (est). And yet, we hear nothing from Bioware about cross server pvp or merging servers. Paying 15 dollara a month to sit around fleet hoping a WZ pops. Love pvp in this game, but if Bioware dosent do something quick, I'm gone.
