I guess my dumbest question would be do I get my commendations from WZ or illum PvP

I've looked in the GTN but my armor is speced just as good as some of the armor in there!

All of my gear except my waist and belt are orange! Ive had the same gear but new helmets since level 29. I've just modded the hell out of it! It started as level 29 and it's been modded upto level 47! So now its just up to me grind away at it?

Ok so I recently reached level 50 and haven't done a whole lot of PvP! My gear is ok but not level 50 gear. I havent received any commendations other than fleet and war zone commendations. My question is am I SOL as far as getting my commendations bc when I do PvP now with my level 40+ gear I get slaughtered! Any help would greatly appreciated!

Ok one simple question......why is it that lower level toons do more damage than a higher level toon? I can't tell you how many times I have had my *** handed to me in a WZ by someone 20 levels below me. They drain my health faster than I can blink and I am doing barely if any damage to them at all. Then sometimes it's completely the opposite! Open world PvP I have no problem with. Idk it's wired to me...granted I am somewhat new to MMOs maybe I'm missing something. Will take any suggestions!
