  1. Sorry for poluting the boards with another "Bolster" question. I have gone through a few of the large Bolster threads already but just needed some clarity. Basically, I return from a 6 month hiatus. I have a LvL 55 Sith Sorcerer, madness spced, who is in Full Partisan gear, Non-augmented. (Yeah I know, not that impressive). Problem is that I keep getting facerolled in even the unranked arenas. I can still put up decent damage, but only if I have really good teammates who distract enemies and allow me to just Force lightning + DOT. Otherwise, in any 1v1 situation I get smashed. So my question is: How do I improve? It seems from many threads that players are suggesting that instead of cranking out hours on PVP in efforts to get full Obroan gear, I should run HM FP and other PVE content to get highest rated PVE gear since the Bolster will basically make High rated PVE gear equivalent to PVP gear? Is this true? Thanks in advance for your time and attention.
  2. The OP question is warranted, primarily because mostly everyone loves the storyline part but hates all the crappy side quests. I'm on a similar boat, I love following along the actual storyline, but it is VERY boring, time consuming, and tedious to have to do all the side quests as well. If you forget all the side quests and just do the main storyline, you won't be high enough level to actually beat your main bosses. So I guess the better question is: How do you level through the storyline without having to do all the BS side quests?
  3. They removed the star cluster nightlife pack? So how am I suppose to get the Tulak Hord armor set. I suppose I can buy it off GTN, but I refuse to pay 7 million credits for a damn helmet.
  4. I think there should be an option to kill players of our own faction. Additionally, I get the urge to kill Darth Decimus, General Heskier, and Darth Marr. Perhaps there should be an option to attack or kill storyline NPCs that we don't like too much. Anyone else agree on this?
  5. I currently have a LVL 55 Sorcerer with a Willpower of 1800. Should I purchase an augment that gives me +20 Endurance and +32 Willpower or a Fortitude Augment that gives me +32 Endurance and +20 Power? I would love to have the extra endurance from the fortitude and I also heard that Power gives me straight up more damage than Willpower. Any help would be beneficial, thanks.
  6. So my Willpower since Im a Sorcerer? My Willpower is 1947.
  7. I'm not entirely understanding what you are asking. I have a level 55 Sith Sorcerer, he has a Partisan ear implant, two Partisan MK-1/2 Relays, Partisan lower robe, partisan chest piece. The rest of my armor is all PVE armor with grade 63 mods. The boots are PVE I looted in a flashpoint, the gloves and belt are Eradicator cuirass set from Cartel Market, Ive put grade 63 mods in them. The helmet is actually a Champion Headset from old however I took out all of its mods and put in new 63 mods because the old expertise mods was hurting me in PVP. Thus, the only pieces that have expertise on them now are my partisan pieces. My relics are kinda old, they just give me endurance bonuses. My lightsaber is a custom built with all lvl 63 mods + a 41 endurance crystal. My off-hand focus is an old one which gives me secondary stats, no expertise. As for HP, in the open world my character has roughly 24k hp. As for the main, Im not sure what you mean by "Main". Can you please elaborate?
  8. I'm sure this question has been asked before but I cant seem to find it on the forums. Here it is: I currently have 858 expertise when my character is in the open world, that includes a few pieces of partisan gear and the rest are PVE gear which have no expertise on it. However, when I enter into a Warzone, my expertise gets bolstered up to 2018 which I hear is the cap. So I am wondering, is there any benefit in purchasing more partisan gear with expertise on it? I mean, if my expertise will stay at 2018 in the warzone, I am not getting any change right? Or is there something I'm completely not understanding about this process? Any help would be appreciated. I'm a fresh lvl 55 Sorcerer and I'd like to do more damage in PVPs.
  9. Guardian. The heavy armor makes it a tank class, and we all know that tank classes are unfairly overpowered in this game. They absorb ridiculous amounts of damage and simply cannot be killed 1v1. I have a Sentinel and while two lightsabers looks cool, I think the Guardian/Juggernaut are better.
  10. Hey all, I appreciate the players who helped me understand why my old champion armor was stinking it up in the Warzones. Anyways, I have a separate question. So, I have been buying some partisan gear as I do warzones and save up commendations. I understand that PVE equipment gets bolstered and that the expertise cap is 2018. Now, my expertise in the open world is 708 (including the few pieces of Partisan gear I have on). The rest of my equipment is PVE. However, when I go into the warzone, the bolster makes my Expertise 2018 even though not all of my gear has expertise on it. Does this mean that there is no further advantage to buying Partisan gear? Is there a difference in a player who has 2018 Expertise in the open world vs one that gets bolsterd to 2018 in the warzone? I'm having a hard time understanding the mechanics of these warzones. Any help would be appreciated.
  11. So if I remove all of the Champion pieces mods and make it stock armor, then if I add all new lvl 55 mods to it or the ones that are found on Partison gear, it will work? Or will it still cause problems for me?
  12. So hold on, if I equip my Champion armor, I still get stats on my Character's page. So does that mean that the armor will work in PVE but its stats aren't counted for in PVP? Also, by having it on, does it take away any bolster effects?
  13. Okay..but if it was removed from the game, then how am I still able to equip it on my character?
  14. Hey all, I played this game when it first came out, had a lvl 50 sith sorcerer then I quit for more than a year. I just recently came back and lvled my Sorcerer to 55, so Im a fresh 55. I had a question, Im using a Champion's Force masters armor set that I got back pre 2.0 version. It has good stats and expertise rating on it. However when I go into PVP, howcome my expertise is so low? Its only at 1070 whereas everyone else is above 2000... Im getting absolutely slaughtered in PVP, can someone seem to help me with this?
  15. Okay, I know people have their preferences, that is not what I'm asking. I want to know whether it is possible for a Sorcerer to beat a Juggernaut at the higher levels (40+) in a 1v1 PVP? Given the skill of the players is equal? I'm having a very hard time fighting tanks as my Sorcerer 1v1, it seems their heavy armor and high health just absorbs all of my lightning damage and just a few strokes of their lightsabers rips me apart. Is this how it is suppose to be? Are sorcerers not suppose to beat tanks in 1v1? Or am I doing something wrong?
