  1. The Hoth quest [HEROIC 2+] Invisible Foes updated in my log until I had recovered 10/12 Stealth Field Generators. At this point it stopped, even when I collected all 12 and had them in my mission inventory. Seeing this, I relogged hoping that would refresh the mission. This made the task grey out in the mission log, and disappear from the mission tracker. I can't turn in the quest even though I have the 12 generators in my inventory since it hasn't updated.
  2. Yes... let the anger flow through you! May all your future replies do nothing but bolster and verify my comments. Feel it well up inside you and burn with righteous fury!
  3. It has nothing to do with being a fan boy. It's called having a level head. And I've gotten beyond a reasonable return on the money I've paid them since this is the first outage I've experienced since returning to the game. if you're so insecure to need someone to blame when you're even slightly inconvenienced, let alone build a fiction of purposeful incompetence that fits your anger... well, have at it. The healthy thing would be to unsubscribe though. Or do something else with your time. Because in a few hours when it's back up, or whenever the next time you decide to hop on, this issue will vanish. Reactions like this aren't something to be proud of, they're a whole lot of projection.
  4. Have played them off and on since vanilla UO. But honestly, drug addicts have more rational reactions to their normal supplier being unavailable.
  5. This isn't some grand conspiracy. They're just doing their jobs. At this hour it's an uphill battle, let alone having someone there who doesn't have set protocols on how and what they can communicate to customers. It can feel like they're working against you, but they're not. It's not like they have a lot on their plate for the next few days. If this makes you irate. If it brings suspicions of deceit and indifference. If you're unable to conceive of any situation that doesn't bring rage front and center. Well, your biggest problems have nothing to do with how they're running this game, but how you set your priorities. And how quickly you project villainy and take up the standard of victim.
  6. That it's being worked on. They don't have a definite timescale, but should announce something within the hour. He asked if I had any characters on other servers I could play and apologized if not. And said if it's not up within the hour to look online for an update.
  7. It's not the games themselves that have a prime time, it's geographical. It's referencing something that's been around long before there were video games.
  8. I've been back for a couple months now. This is the first major disruptive issue I've had with the servers. Some occasional lag in specific zones during prime time is about it otherwise.
  9. Called customer service before seeing someone had done so in this thread. Wasn't told it was an emergency maintenance, I think whoever said that meant it more literally than it normally gets thrown around. Just sounded like they're not a hundred percent certain what the issue is, or at least what the solution is and don't want to post an update without some sort of information. Or it could be an exploit issue they don't want to explain in any manner without getting it locked down. I'd expect all the West Coast servers to go down if this was actually a DDoS. So who knows what's going on. A lot of things can go wrong and this is a bad time for them to do so. I'm just scared to go back to playing Sword Coast Legends, reminding myself that I paid money for it... but I will, with some stupid hope that it'll get better.
  10. <- this album plus... Some League of Legends I just finished with and now Grave Defense on my phone.
