  1. Thought the community might be interested in this Knights of the Fallen Empire Review: http://www.requnix.com/knights-of-the-fallen-empire-review
  2. OK I was able to complete. This is what i did. Exit and abandon. This will remove the mission items. Then turn off area and single loot. Then go in and loot one item at a time. I was able to progress. The issue is either related to items being stuck in your mission inventory or the area loot; or a combination of the two.
  3. Yup, bugged and cannot complete. I've reset multiple times and attempted to loot the items in a different order (with individual looting). The last item always bugs out and tells me I've reached the unique item limit. Doesn't matter the order I do them in.
  4. The problem is there's no challenge playing the game now (at least as PvE/leveling up). It's far too easy. Two golds? No problem! No strategy required with a healing companion. Sure, it's "powerful" but... fun? I do think they need a nerf.
  5. Yah, they really need to address this. The GTN is a bad joke and so cumbersome to use, it deters players from wanting to use it at all. I'm a veteran player and I hate using it.
  6. I love SWTOR, but the GTN interface is hands down one of the worst auction interface system I've ever seen in a MMOG (honestly it's so bad, the folk at Bioware should be ashamed of it - especially for being such a key component of the game). Are we going to get any enhancements to the GTN with the upcoming expansion? Please, god... say yes...
  7. Come on Bioware. Fleet is now a cess pool of nonstop gold spammers. This game has been out 3 years! Get your act together and put a stop to this garbage!
  8. True, but I can manually loot the same amount of materials on Yavin 4 in about 1-2 minutes. There's no "value" to the 4-hour mission, and no chance of getting any "high value" results. That's the problem.
  9. There's some debate on this relative to comparing the value of missions between the different crew skills. For example, the "value" of a 500 custom mission in scavenging can never really yield any "real" results, which is why they sell for $5K a pop on the GTN - while others (such as slicing) sell upwards to $100K. Then again, with the latest Slot machine fiasco, I've seen Circuitry (from slicing) now drop well below $20K (from ~$50K) which will surely drive the slicing missions down. But I think it's too early to tell the overall impact it will have on the economy and missions. On the flip side, farming with scavenging on Yavin-4 is extremely profitable. It's just that the custom missions themselves seem to be "useless" especially for a 4 hour crew member commitment.
  10. Yah I was curious why they hadn't really added any new ones since launch; makes me wonder if people just aren't running them?
  11. Thought the community might find this 2015 review of SWTOR interesting.
  12. Actually, the post says: "The engineers informed me that any code change will have a profound impact regardless of the change, so they consider them very high risk. That means extensive testing!" Given they haven't "tested" any critical changes (they would have to on the PTR for a reasonable period of time) I doubt 3.0.2 is going to see any real improvements to this issue that aren't tied to queues and controlling the "amount" of activity (i.e. it won't address the root issue). Regardless, I hope you're right; and I hope 3.0.2 does have a positive impact on performance. The core reality is their server systems cannot handle the load, and they will have to make some serious changes to fix the problem - and in order to do that - in their own words - they will have to engage in extensive testing (and to do it right - with the community) to ensure the changes actually work. That hasn't happened.
  13. Not sure why people are praising this post. There's no 'action' substance to it. This problem has been around before 3.0 and there is no indication of what they are planning on doing about it. The fact he met with the devs and has no feedback as to action they are going to take makes it an empty post that holds no value for the community. It's just talk. Sorry, but when a company the size of Bioware has such serious server-side issues for so long and still has no viable statement to the community about what they are going to do about it... this, folks, is called a smoke screen.
  14. Yup; I came up after dinner (client was on the Server page), it showed Harbinger at STANDARD and I started at position 4 and it kept rising. I quit the client (because I figured it was a fluke/error). I restarted and now my position is "jumping" around (in the 60's) where it's been for ~5 minutes, and the time has gone from 5 minutes to 20 minutes. Note I'm a subscriber. While I've been writing this, my position went to 60 and now it's back at 64... The time started at 5 and now it's 30. There's something very wrong.
