How is sharding the planets social?

Can someone please tell me why a company with a crap load of money and resources is sharding planets. There aren't even enough people on the planets to begin with and there never will be with the sorry excuses for population caps. THIS IS EXACTLY WHY PEOPLE ARE SAYING THIS GAME FEELS LIKE IT'S SINGLE PLAYER (with multi-player functionality). FIX IT BIOWARE... i'm getting lonely....

THAT's IT??? That's all they fixed. Are you kidding me? What a crappy company. Don't you people work harder than that. I could fix these things in one day. Did it really take you that many days to fix a tool tip? I'm am soooooooo underwhelmed by BIOWARE.

... it's not just the bugs... it things that are missing... from an mmo... in 2011... it shouldn't matter if the game is new... they should leave many of the common mmo features out...
