The early access and waves are to EASE the servers into the load they will burden. They don't expect waves past the 20th. They are doing waves now to make sure the servers hold up and they can add as many as needed to alleviate long queue times. Servers aren't full because currently they are observing them #1 and #2 people DO sleep and work, unlike SOME of the QQers around this forum...

If you know so much, go join bioware or blizzard, hop on a development team and make your own MMO, fact is you cant and even if you DID, it comes down to EXECUTIVE decision. Which further shows you know NOTHING. Just because you heard a few developer interviews and googled some stuff does NOT make you KNOWLEDGABLE. Why is everyone whining and claiming BW can't launch a game? UP TO (not 5 days early, not up to 7 days early, not 4 days 23 hours and 59 minutes early, UP TO meaning anywhere from 1 minute to 5 days EARLY) 5 days early, 13th was 7 days early. Shut up about that already. The $5 preorder... have you never preordered? No one who preordered WOW this last expansion expected early access. They put their $5 down, paid the other $45 when they picked it up, ran home, installed and made a mad dash for 85. You max out Then you cry it's boring. You did NOT pay $5 for early access. You paid a RETAIL STORE (not owned by bioware) to hold a copy and to help them forecast about how many copies to purchase on launch day. You didn't give Bioware any money (yet) you gave it to the store. I see NONE of you employed making MMOs (go ahead, lie, troll, say you are) so what do you know? Because you played WOW or RIFT or LOTRO for a few years this makes you an expert? It's like this. They are giving those who pre-ordered/redeemed soonest the first shot, it;s only fair. Like it or not. They are giving ALL of us who preordered early access. Even if it is 20 minutes. There will be PLENTY of people starting on the 20th. Lastly... The waves are so not everyone is on taking your quest items or kills, stacking on your quest givers, and your queue isn't 10,000 people. I am convinced you people will find ANY reason to complain because you like to see yourselves type. They took years making the game I am sure they took YEARS hashing out the best way to launch the game. We are all anxious, excited and hyped.
