  1. I'm a Battlemaster and I quite enjoy still doing warzones. I have a very active pvp guild and RL friends. Sure, I don't get any real gain beyond my dailies, but I still have fun. Isn't that the reason you play a game? BW has already said that more PvP content is in the works, but as people pointed out the game's been out for less than 2 months. If you are already bored of PvP, maybe it isn't the right game for you?
  2. I've gotten 5 comms out of 8 bags... Guess the game is making up for the fact that I still had a Cent weapon and helm when i hit Battlemaster.

    150 kills?!

It's very server dependent. I am Republic on Davik's Estate and we formed an OPS for about an hour earlier and I'm sitting at 75/150 for my weekly. Eventually the Imp's started outnumbering us 2 to 1 so we went to WZs, but not a bad start for one day. If you are an Imperial you really have nothing to complain about. Sure, right after the weeklies reset on Tuesday you may not be able to camp armaments for your weekly. But, you constantly outnumber repubs and constantly control center with the armaments. Cry me a river.
  4. I went ahead and unsubscribed. If they remedy this appropriately I will resubscribe and I said this in my cancellation. That's really the best way to make sure it happens. And, if it doesn't happen, then I see that this is not a game that I want to be a part of.
  5. It took me 3 days to get biochem to 400 while pvp'ing. It is sad that it is the only crew skill worth having right now but with how easy crew skills are to level I would suggest it would be much faster to level it up then wait for buffs to other crew skills.
  6. I understand most of you are coming from WoW and therefore see PvP as a unique system of rewards. However, there is no difference between this system and normal raid drops in PvE. You can do the same ops 20 times and not get an upgrade if you're unlucky. There is nothing wrong with this system, it is actually much more consistent than telling PvP players they are guaranteed items at set intervals and telling PvE players they must rely on luck.

    40+pvp

I disagree. Played Hutball today against a couple lvl 50's and multiple 30+ while no one on my team was above 32. We only lost by 1 point, it was a very close game. I'm not saying there is no advantage to level 50's but I really don't think it's bad enough to need seperate brackets.
  8. Yes I am sure Bioware is completely unaware which type of servers they need to add and are just flipping a coin for zone/type.
  9. I totally agree OP. This was a very smooth launch (yes it was a soft launch, not really an EGA since you can STILL pre-order the game and probably get into it early). I myself am still waiting for my invite (ordered Sunday 12/11), and of course I'm checking Twitter, Facebook, and the forums every 20 seconds for updates. The communication has been open and direct, explanations were given throughout about why things were being done a certain way. Really, amazing job.
  10. No way? Queue's during the soft launch of a major MMO? Crazy, I shall alert the media...

  12. Agreed, great job Bioware. And I am still anxiously awaiting my invite.
  13. No one playing a Miraluka? Really curious about this as well, so bump.
  14. But having Oceanic on your server gives the best of both worlds. They are on during off-peak times for the rest of you and contribute to the economy and PvP queue's... Don't see there will be a downside going forward. Maybe today when it's brand new to them and they're willing to stay up all night...
  15. Yeah I can't believe the difference between yesterday and today... I guess we know what group was the majority of the whiners...
  16. I really like the animation. As for it being a "standing still DoT"... It's exactly the same as a spell with a cast time except the damage is not all done at the end of the cast and if you interrupt the cast some damage will still have been done. That's not a bad thing.
  17. For everyone posting about how upset they are, there are 20 people who are patiently waiting for their invite. My friends and I are all still waiting, anxiously I might add, but we see no reason to come on here and complain about it. I was in the Warhammer launch that left huge server imbalances and dead servers within months. I was there for the Aion launch where many people couldn't even get in the game due to errors. Anyone who was seriously interested in World Firsts would have pre-ordered as soon as SWTOR was available for pre-order. For everyone else, they have said they will be adding servers throughout the week so you don't even have to start out at a significant level disadvantage if you find that important.
