Cauz companies that now make games deliver crappy stuff and fanboys all defend it like their games were miracles. The very next day these fanboys left the game for another and leave all the rest of the community with their broken dream because they didnt feel like defending the right things. Queue time .... bah ... deal with it! Early access poorly delivered .... bah .... you should have read the like *legal notice Server crash : you get back in queue ..... bah ... be happy you have access to the game Really? What if all of that happened 10 years ago? Just cauz you have access to the Internet doesn't justify the releases of unfinished games.

Well ... to that we can respond : Automated function to server transfert plz ( been done in WoW ). Manually forced merge of servers after let's say 2 months ( been done in Aion ) ... and plz dont tell me you ll be separated from your friends ... they move guilds altogether. Go fanboy ... encourage them being lazy .... thx

Unless my logic is total fail tonight .... If they're able to add a new server without shuting down the rest of them .... they can also reboot one server at a time while the others are running. Exception being for the authentification server, but hey, if it's only a reboot of that ... i'll live with it.

All game servers and SWTOR.com will be offline during this period. Maybe just the wording. Who knows really. Just good to know they're planning to "shutdown" and not only "reboot" things up. If it would be only reboots, they would have said ... access to servers might get interupted for a couple minutes ... one by one ... right? Like other games are doing? Or maybe I'm just too disappointed by this early access and it makes me see everything black at this point.

I would be really surprised to hear that China uses the same servers as NA. If so ... please let me know ... it will at least give me a smile cauz I miss em a lot ( considering I was playing FFXI ).

Could have done it in the morning. Working in IT domain I do know maintenance can most likely be extended if anything goes wrong .... and planning it to end right at the last second before official release ... talk about management skills .... lol Good thing if it makes me look like a tool ... I mean ... at this point ... why not.

Well ... that one could be extended by like 12hrs and it still wouldnt be a big deal for NA. Would be usefull to precise from where you are

All I can say at this point is that it really sucks to be 4 days late on your friends. I don't care about having only 4 days, I don't care about not having a boxed version and booklets and stuff and I don't care about waiting for the game. The ONLY thing that matters to most of us ( and I assume here .... sorry if I'm wrong to do so ) as we're waiting for this MMO ( Massive Multiplayer Online ) is to play with our friends .... and obviously at this point, they've taken so much advance on us that we'll all be playing this all alone. Hard to be competitive in a game where others started 4 days before you, and it gets worse when it comes to Crafting Whatever .... I'll be waiting for this game like a lil child waiting for his presents on Christmas day. The present better be *********** great or say bye bye to Swtor and hello to TERA online.
