  1. Looking to get a new SSD for my computer to increase terrible load times. Nothing too big, just want it to fit with my system and hold SWTOR mostly. Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Thanks for the help :)

  2. So just making sure here. In 1.2 all the Korrealis speeders are going to go away, be sellable on the GE, and will be unable to be bought again? Did I read that right lol. I think it's great and will be stocking up on the mounts to sell later if it's true :)
  3. "They have Master Yoda's species listed as Lannik, and his midi-chlorian count at 4 million. That's just ridiculous!" ―Coleman Trebor[src]

The Jedi Master Yoda was the best-known member of a species whose true name is not recorded. Known in some sources simply as Yoda's species, this species of small humanoids produced several well-known members of the Jedi Order during the time of the Galactic Republic.

    source: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Yoda%27s_species

Sorry...but the SW Wiki is so wrong here it isn't even funny. In episode 1 they counted Anakin's midi-chlorian count at 10,000....then commented about how that was even higher than Yoda's.

As far as what the race actually is I have no idea...just wanted to correct the midi-chlorain thing :)

  4. I believe it would make people complain a LOT less about not having anything to do at lvl 50.....sadly...it would take a hell a lot of development and will probably not be seen in game for a LONG time *cries*
  5. Add reputation grinding to this game. You have a lot of cool social gear that NOBODY uses because getting social points is very difficult. By adding interesting and fun ways to grind reputation to each of the planets you will increase planet population as well as give players another reason to play the game. Reputation based mounts, mods, and orange equipment would give many people a great reason to keep playing on different planets.

Each planet should have at least 1 rep to grind, preferably 2. Daily quests and other neat ways to get rep, I feel would be a great addition to the game.

    What's your opinion?

  6. So, it is prime time right now on the east coast in usa and there is one heavy server, 8 light servers and the rest standard. I see doom for SWTOR.

So friggen sad. FU Electronic Arts for messing up one of the greatest potential games of 2012.

You have been reading the press releases saying how many subs the game has and how fast it's growing right.........

But I'll believe you because you looked at some server statuses and saw doom...cause you're a reputable source and all....

  7. Every MMO has downtime for maintenance, and many MMO's do it very differently. These are the 3 MMO's I've played extensively, and wonder which you prefer and why.

WoW: Huge downtime once a week, and usually extended once or twice beyond the time they said it would take.

ToR: downtime about every 3 days on average, and usually takes a couple hours shorter than what they said.

EvE online: Downtime for 30 minutes to an hour EVERY night.

I personally prefer the EvE method. They fix what they need to every day, and you can go make a cup of tea and be playing again in no time. I like the WoW method the least, I remember hating extended maintenance....frustrating.

I'm not saying any method is better than another, I just want an honest opinion thread on which one you prefer. Feel free to add in another MMO's method that I didn't include here.

  8. Maintenance happens every other night with this game. I am a patient person but I have to admit that I'm getting very, very tired of all of this downtime. This is the time that I have to play with my work schedule. If they can't sort this out, I will have to find another game, or go back to another game, that sticks to their scheduled maintenance times.

That's why I said NEW mmo..... You don't think every other new mmo has infrequent maintenance times to fix bugs? Anyone who tells you differently hasn't played many mmo's. Anyone remember vanilla WoW when it released? ****, and people complain about this game lmfao.

  9. Interesting. Because I am sensitive to my wife's feeling and don't feel like virtual sex in a video game is more important, I'm a doormat and need to learn how to be a man. I see you guys got it all figured out. Since I probably have socks older than most of you, I'll defer to your infinite wisdom.

Women are crazy, that's a fact. Men are ******es, that too, is a fact. Somehow we need to learn how to live together and that means coming to an agreement on a variety of things. How every man and woman accomplishes that is different since every man and woman is different. I guess my message is simply that you have to pick your battles. Granted, sometimes you have to fight even when you will lose but sex in a video game, puhleeze, is that really worth fighting over?

That's enough from me. Either you get it or you never will.

Have to go cause your insecure master is calling eh?

  10.

Why? Because you can quickly gain PvP gear just for showing up. You don't have to be any good, you don't have to win, you don't even have to try, and you still move forward towards EZ-mode epics.

You DO have to do more than show up...you DO have to win, you DO have to try. WZ's and Ilum both take a lot of effort to finish the dailies and weeklies. If you just AFK you'll get kicked...and if you only get champion bags from WZ commendations it'll take TONS AND TONS of WZ's to get a full set of purples. You've obviously never done the PvP dailies or weeklies.

  11. maybe the first is true; but , if you think that sort of irrational behavior is normal and acceptable, then I highly doubt the latter.

or I could be married to someone who's not an irrational control freak, and if she actually had a problem with it (she doesn't, and i really can't see a situation where she would) we'd talk about it and she'd be ok with it, without me stopping anything or having to apologize for anything...

2 Words, he's whipped. Always be faithful to your woman, treat her like a queen, pay attention to her and show her that you care constantly, and bang the living hell out of her every night.

This is what I do, both of us are extremely happy and there is never any insecurity for either of us. Nobody should have to be told they can't watch a scene in a game because their wife is insecure. It's not about the game, the OP probably doesn't pay enough attention to his girl in the first place.

  12. It's a role playing game, not a movie or a book. You are playing a role of having sex with another woman.

Granted, it doesn't bother some women, it does bother others. Marriage is a constant series of compromises. Women make some strange demands at times and there are times when you have to stand your ground and refuse to budge but virtual sex in a freaking game, is that really worth fighting over?

and you call me a nerd. Sheesh!!

Sorry....watching a romance scene....and pressing 1 then watching a romance scene are no different at all. My girlfriend tells me to call her so she can come in and watch romance scenes in games too because they're interesting.

This game doesn't even have sex scenes.......it just fades to black. It's no Witcher 2.

A girl gets mad because of the romance plots in this game I guarantee you it isn't the guys problem.
