Aussies play in the middle of the US night. Having them around means a robust 24 hour population. I'm a US player on The Swiftsure because of my guild being located there and I think it's fantastic.
So, no, mate, I'm not leaving
I was 7 years old when Star Wars first hit the theaters, living in Dallas, TX and my neighbor took her kid who had to have been like 5 to see the movie about a billion times while my sister and I begged and begged to go.
Finally we went and it was amazing. I saw all of the first set in the theater with the brand new Dolby Sound that was so ground breaking at the time and the big special effects were unbelievable.
I don't think there's really anything that has been able to give that sense of awe since.
The reality is that the normal mode world first kills will be relevant until people start clearing hard modes which will only be relevant until nightmare bosses start to go down. The first guild to full clear on the hardest difficulty will win the tier. That process *should* be long enough that a couple days head start won't make a lick of difference.
Some of you will care, some of you will not. I'll be raiding until my fingers cramp and my eyes bleed because that's what I call fun.
I strongly suggest that each and every one of you go forth and play in a way that brings you personal satisfaction and leave the rest of the community to do the same.
Cheers!
