  1. Difficulty has to have a relation to the rewards. They dont have to be hard because its in the name, they have to be harder than normal fp's so we have a progression. But they have to be hard enough so the rewards there are an upgrade. If they drop tier 1 purples i assume i need blues to get in there , not tier 2 so i can faceroll something to realize they dont offer any upgrades. And please don't ask people to PVP to improve their PVE chances, that's just a bad progression path. Normal ops are way easier than hm fp's, and the difficulty difference between some of them is so huge people are running hm BT for the daily and avoiding the rest. If you need proper group compositions and voice communication you are missing hm fp's with ops, thats where the real challenge should be. I want to be able to pug hm fp's, finish them in less than 1 hour and be able to do them with alts, and right now some of them are too hard for that. Its sad when people think they are finishing something because they are better players, when the only thing they are doing its outgearing the content.
  2. It all depends on the role of hard modes, if they are thought to gear new 50's with a mix of blues and maybe some purples they are too hard, if they are made to give ops people something else to do they are OK. I hope they tune them down a little some of them, since i have had tough times helping some new 50's with them in the last days. And i hope thats not the idea
  3. So, besides biochem, what are the other crew skills stated purpose in the game mechanics for end game? Or they are only leveling skills?
  4. I have only done normal mode, but have talked to several gdifferent groups about their composiotion and found it really weird the amount of people having tank or healer dps'ng and i find it weird. I'm a healer, but last night i was dps'ing more than half the fights, because we couldn't do it with one healer, but we don't need 2, and i didn't like it, i felt like i was a gimped dps, badly doing my job. I run a healer to heal, i gear myself to heal, i expect to heal and i want to be wanted as a healer. But i run a complete operation as a mediocre dps, that tossed some heals some time. Its boring, i have a bad rotation, not the needed stats, etc. We already have too many tanks and healers in the guild, since they are not needed. Its fun when we are short on dps, because there is so little healing needed. So please make the game different, with some healing/tanking needed, and not only with enrage mechanics that force you to get more dps
  5. Got almost the same problems, on Gharj and beyond (no problems on 1st boss) -The random wipe boss got to us like 3-4 times in the night, it was absurd and so much time wasted. - We had to redo the trash to Gharj because he refused to reappear after having the same "i don't want to jump" bug/disappearing platform bug -No weekly for 6 of the 8 ppl in the raid - We got a schematic drop, and when the winner tried to learn it it said "item not available" - On the fight with the Sith one person was havong problmes, then we realize he had the "can't do dmg debuff" (don't remember the name) always active even after death. He relogged and we were fine - We only did one try on Soa, having some problems with getting rid of the shield in the last phase So a fun night, but lots of time wasted (and yes, i did report all the bugs, hopefully they fix them soon)
  6. Is there any logical way to get loot considering the difficulties of the sources? Normally mi would expect normal "dungeons" -> hard dungeons -> raids -> hard mode raids So far it seems for me its PVP -> dailies-> HM BT -> normal Ops -> next HM's -> hard Ops -> Nightmare Ops Is it like that? if so what's the point of the HM flashpoints if operations are easier? We did normal EV yesterday with some guildies and it was less time consuming than some flashpoints, so it seems fp are really overtuned or something is broken in the progression Any opinions?
  7. Got no problem getting loot from chests yesterday, but the system is pretty annoying, when you have more than 1 person of a class and it assigns some loot to the person that need it less. You get Tionese comm/crystals from all bosses , crafting alloys and schematics (you roll on them) and random loot asigned by the system (normally 2-3 pieces on 8m)
  8. Depends on the bugs, some of them are really overtuned or bugged so they are not easy, and even some are not completable unless you waste too much time. BT is pretty easy, and from them it ramps up fast. So far its easier to find 7 competent people and do normal Eternity Vault, and each boss drops 2 alloys. You may have some troubles with Soa (last boss) , but the first four are really easy, and double in 2-3 hours tops with no experience on them.
  9. Thanks for the info, but sadly its not the solution Ctrl + / is not a create ticket hotkey is something like "customer window" hotkey, its not the same command (the create ticket is an alternative in that customer "window") I already trid binding that to another thing, unbind it, etc. Thanks anyway
  10. Thanks a lot for the suggestions, so far it seems there is no way to use that key (tried to bind it to something else, but it still open tickets). Lets hope there is a fix soon, because is annoying hitting it by mistake in the middle of combat.
  11. I always use the key to the left of 1 in my keyboard to have more easily reached keys, but i haven't found how to use it in SWTOR since its bound to "create ticket" and i don't see that option in any keybind section. I want to put cover for my sniper there, but can't so far. Any ideas?

  13. There is a flaw with that comparison, we are not in 2004 anymore. 7 years ago it was acceptable, but now you have to get a product that can compete with what your competioton has now, not comparing timetables to see what each had at launch. I loved the leveling, and now that I'm 50, i cant stand doing more Belsavis/Ilum dailies, beacuse they are really boring. I dont want to run more heroic flashpoints, because they are harder than normal operations, and they have the same gear. I can't craft because armormech makes nothing useful for endgame (it was great for leveling). And I cant really do operations because they are bugged. So i agree 100% with the OP, game was great leveling, but the endgame is broken. So I'm leveling a new toon, just hoping BW can fix the endgame soon, because i like the game a lot and I have faith they can improve, but its a shame they couldn't bring a finished product at the beginning.
  14. Thanks both for the info, I'll assume then 300-400k cost, that seems easily affordable with dailies. Thanks for the suggestion of only leveling biochem, but i prefer to have the 3 relevant ones
  15. I have Armormech/UT/Scav at 400 and I'm very disappointed by how useless my crew skill is at lvl 50. So I'm thinking on going with the masses and change to Biochem and their required crew skills to have something useful for operations. So how much time and credits do you think will cost me to get form 0 to 400 getting everything from missions? Thanks a lot and I really hope they fix this system, it was a huge money sink with almost no advantage at max lvl.
