  1. Talking about missfire... I just loaded up an Ambush from Cover, the cast time went to full and... nothing. I wasn't interrupted or anything. The cast time went to full, but never fired. Quite annoying to die a few seconds later thanks to the bugs.
  2. Then don't join with those PuG's or find another guild that suits your needs better. I'm sorry you got that kind of experience with min/max players, but trust me, far from everyone is a jerk.
  3. This is just a load of BS. You can't be so prejudiced and blame everyone just because you met one of those. I'm one of those that really enjoy theorycrafting and numbercrunching. I think it adds depth and another dimension to the game. I'm one of those people that want to optimise my performance and can spend much time after raids to evaluate Recount and logs to find spots where I can improve. But from your post I get it that you think all of us (min/maxers) are the same. I'm far from the loot-wh0re you discribe. I never rage, flame, cry or nag in a raid setting because of poor performance or if I lost a roll for my gear. In fact, I'm probably the first guy in the raid that pass on an item so another member can get a bigger upgrade. So don't draw us all over the same line...
  4. I love gaming communities, everyone is so understanding to each other and we're all having all kind of civil discussions and giving away friendly tips. A big vouch for add-ons from me btw.
  5. Didn't read through all the pages, but skimmed through, so I'm pretty sure it's been mentioned already. I do not mind a LFG-tool in the future if they keep it within the server. When they introduced cross-server LFG in that other game it completely ruined the community in my opinion and it promoted bad behaviour. The chance of getting rolled into a group with the same person again was next to non-existent. The bad mouthing got worse. The behaviour got worse. Some random epic dropped and you could almost bet your money that someone would ninja it and leave the group. If the tool is kept within the server I don't think the behaviour of players will sink as low. You will recognize different players you group up with and you should be able to build up a good reputation on the server. And if someone is beeing a *****, for whatever reason, and keep having bad behaviour etc, my hopes is that that player eventually get infamous and people think twice before grouping up with him. Keeping the LFG-tool tied to the server should still give very low queues I hope.
  6. Ugh, it's not about if I remember what key I bounded or not. As I stated - it's about convenience and a less cluttered UI.
  7. Macros is not an I-WIN button. If you come across some guy that loads all his abilities into a cast-sequence macro you will 100% always win against him unless you are a below average player. That's true for both PvP and PvE. The guy with the I-WIN button will always perform worse than the player that judge his CD's and abilities and use them at the best time. English is not my first langue, and I'm not gifted in the art of speach, but I'll try to give you a constructive alternative where I personaly would use macros if they were in the game. Right now you have your entire UI filled with abilities on four different bars. With simple macros I could reduce that to two bars. Making an alt-modifer macro that cast one ability if I press down alt and another ability if I don't have any modifier. I'm well aware that I simply can bind the ability instead. But as I said, it fills the actionbars and clutter the UI. Another example: On my Sith Assassin, on the level I am on right now, I have two kind of CC's that break on damage. Whirlwind and Mind Trap. For those of you that don't know, Mind Trap can only be used in Stealth. If macros were available, I would make a simple macro that combined those two spells and would look something like this: /cast [stealth] Mind Trap; Whirlwind If I'm in Stealth, the macro will try to cast Mind Trap on my target, otherwise it would cast Whirlwind. All this macro does is to save up one actionbar slot and one keybinding. Please tell me how this makes me a worse player and a cheater. It's not hard at all to bind that extra ability to another keybind. Not at all. But this way is in my opinion so much more convenient.
  8. The OP is not advocating one-button-mashing macro's. Neither am I. And I'm sure the vast majority of people that speak positive for this cause don't want that kind of macro either. It's like all you naysayers think that the only use for macros is to load up all your skills in one button and mash away or to make goldfarming bots. That is so far off from the truth as you can get.
  9. Some people just don't get the point. I seriously think people argue because they like to argue.
  10. ^ This. I also agree 100% with OP.
  11. I'm quite sure they will add brackets for lvl 50 in the near future. But right now there's not that many lvl 50's. And if they had thier own bracket right now, they would have very, very long queues. Once more people start hitting 50 I'm sure there will be brackets. Just chill.

    Arenas.

Not really. I'm not saying skill doesn't matter in the arenas of WoW. But gear and team-comp was far more important to be successful. I rather not see small, glorified duels in this game.

    Macros?

    Quoted for so much truth.

    Macros?

Bolded part: I agree. But you can have macros in the game without turning it into a one-key mashing game - it all depends on how Bioware code it if/when they implant it. A macro doesn't necessarily mean that you create a one-key macro with all your abilities in it (far, far from it actually). It can be used for so much, and if you people fail to see that I'm sorry for your narrow-mindness.
