  1. You might have a few people in this list twice. Not gonna take away anyone's privacy, but at least three people are on your list as both their Republic and Imperial toons guess they made the list for a reason! A lot of the Harbinger aces seem to fly midday, hence why some people may fly on the same server and not recognize their names...
  2. The Harbinger has so many great pilots! Off the top of my head and in no particular order: Sleeth Greenbay Lendul Cobitza Aerialz Touchdown Force'skinn Snooogins (lol at name changes due to lost bets) Enemie Jokur And so many others I just can't think of right now. It's always great to be in a match with or against these guys ...Editing to add another that came to mind as I hit submit...
  3. Lendul giving us a shoutout, what! We'd love to have you if you like to fly type /cjoin flyboys to join our GSF chat channel and/or ask anyone in the guild for an invite Lol at server transfers
  4. So many legitimate points made in the various responses to this thread, yet this is all you choose to respond with. . I am disappoint.
  5. Or you could fly in with your NovaDive (which every single player has access to) straight into the middle of the mine field, pop your EMP Field, then melt the bomber with your choice of blasters. It requires just the requisition to purchase the system ability EMP Field, which I got after my first match yesterday (so combined with the intro to GSF quest, should be available to everyone). Very little investment for a great reward!
  6. Okiebe is quite correct. We actually had to set up a PTS Party of sorts, complete with Cartel ship giveaways, to get enough people onto the PTS to have a match. I believe we got a total of 4 matches tested. Anyway, my point is that there never were enough people logged into the PTS for the queue to pop without a coordinated event to attract people :/
  7. I don't think you're supposed to call out players by name on this forum, but I may be wrong... Spawn camping is a pretty lame strategy. I'm trying to convince the midday Republic Harbinger pilots that letting them regroup and face us evenly in mid is a more enjoyable tactic. I haven't met much success :/ I thought the devs were going to implement matchmaking better than they did. Since it is what it is, maybe we players should coordinate "learn to GSF" sessions...
  8. Ooh, I missed this earlier. Thank you so much for helping out the community!!!
  9. This gentleman has got it right! It's probably because he's a Harbinger pilot, but I suppose other realms can be cool too As for your comments, HoloGrinder, calling posters names and calling people to abandon the match are both poor tactics. If you're truly trying to improve the game (as you claim in so many threads) please post civilly and consolidate all your different threads into one constructive post! That way you don't come across as a spammy troll, and you might find you get more support. SavingPrincess, I realize I've probably never flown against you, but I love eating up both Gunships and Bombers on my NovaDive. With my EMP Field I can lock them down, lower their accuracy, and watch them melt :3 Maybe there are no skilled Gunship pilots or Bomber pilots on my server (lol, there are. They make sure things stay interesting for me!), but I've seen a lot of success in the last 36 hours with this (and I the preceding months before the NovaDive got this new ability). I'm sure you get your great kill count, but I'm equally sure that the ability to shut you down is there, even if the pilots on your server are behind on their meta...
  10. EMP NovaDives with the engine option make gunship and bomber hunting so fun! /devilish laugh
  11. The official party line is as follows (if anyone has a more recent quote, please chime in!) Found here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=705142&page=2 All that being said, there is also a slight delay between your PC and the server, so sometimes it may appear to you that you engaged a missile breaking ability before the missile has impacted, when in fact the server has already registered the hit. This is pretty unavoidable, so my best advice is don't wait quote as long to Barrel Roll
  12. The entire OP was discussing whether it is more profitable to 3 cap and get into a new match (Assuming queue times are excellent) or if it is more profitable to farm as many reqs as possible each match by letting the other team have a node, extending the match and therefore not hurt as badly if you get a long break between matches. That was a really long sentence. TLDR: you didn't read the OP
  13. I haven't done the math, but regardless of how it checks out, I agree with one point in particular: letting the losing team have a node is healthier for the community! Several of my wingmen and I've been pointing this out for several weeks in my matches. If it's clear early on that were going to win, I prefer to let them cap a satellite. They'll get req, they'll stay interested longer, and they may even be able to coordinate enough to make things somewhat competitive layer in the match Where's the fun in 3 - capping your enemy?
  14. As had already be stated, we've got an excellent community and one of the strongest Starfighter groups on the server. We even fly with some Imp pilots (if you can believe it!). While many of our pilots are very active and passionate about this aspect of the game, quite a few are also newer and still learning. We are striving to connect pilots with wingmen they can trust and enjoy flying alongside! Feel free to add me to your friends list and ask to join our GSF groups and see what we're all about -Cheek
