I don't recall not being able to play for a month either but WoW had a good bit of issues. Crashes, nasty lag, etc for more then just a few days. The loot bug to where you'd go to loot certain things and you'd get stuck in the looting position, the only way out of it was to re-log. So WoW had it's fair share of problems, funny how it had some nasty problems and people seemed over-all ok with it. Other games could have less issues and people go off the deep end over it. I recall telling friends and family that was playing WoW "If this was any other mmo having these type of problems, people would be leaving it left and right!"

If people are going to quit why would they wait till free time is up? If I disliked a game that much I'd just quit, I wouldn't worry about a few extra days.

WoW had nasty queue's from day one for a very long time. As for Rift I know at least some of the servers had them. As did LotRO at times as did other mmo's at launch. Queue's suck but it's normal for new mmo's and more so when it's a major title such as SWTOR.

No, I'm pretty sure it will be mentioned again and again. When things like this happen with a mmo people don't forget it and they won't let it go. Problems in EQ, Shadowbane, etc is brought up all the time. If after the 20th no one ever brings it back up I'll be VERY surprised. Just wait till the next mmo launches, you'll be seeing a god bit of it I bet.

Not true really. People remember and still talk about problems games had around launch 10+ years ago. People to this day bring up EverQuest, Anarchy Online, Shadowbane, etc SWG NGE happened years ago and people still throw a fit over it like it happened yesterday. People will be talking about this for months to even years.

I wish they'd give us an idea but it could be a bit hard to do so. If they told us what day and then something happens and your invite gets pushed back.... yeah people won't be happy at all then. Believe me I want in but I just don't see how they'd be able to tell us hours to days a head of time when it'll be. If anything they could give us an idea when it'll be tho. Wish they'd just let the rest of us all in later today.
