I tried the first one and then the second one. In both cases, it only works if I delete the BitRaider folder every time I log in. In fact, it seems to keep trying to overwrite the launcher settings file, so I just went back to the first one fix, as at least I can get in by continuously deleting the BitRaider folder.. I have played this game from beta, although I took a few years off, and never saw such a thing.

I played this game for several years, including the initial beta. I got irritated with it during the eternal fleet expansions and quit at maximum level 65. Decided to give it another shot two nights ago and ran into this which is basically the first chapter since I quit. So this is what I get for coming back - a bug so bad you basically can't get past it. Good job, Bioware.

I also experienced the weird cut scene at the cantina where Nico walked in and nothing else happened. Do we know if this bug is happening to everyone or just a subset of folks?

Currently, often when I used the random mount skill, I end up in rocket boost. Rocket boost shouldn't be included as a random mount as it is only used for short travel bursts. A "mount" is usually used for longer distances.

I have been trying to purchase the Defiant Targeter's Jacket MK-4 from NPC Mykal Mareeno (and I also tried from the Fleet at one point). When tried to buy it the first time, I assumed it was the jacket even though the icon was a belt. When I tried to put it on, I was just in my underwear. I sold it back of course, but many of the other items do not appear on my character when I do control-click as well, so I believe this gear is really messed up. I can't believe, unless this is some flaw with my own character, that you haven't heard about this from many other folks. It seems like an easy fix, so why is it still so broken and when will it be fixed?

I also had this problem. Very frustrating after doing Part 1 and then killing the first 22 guys in the Loramarr part only to find out you can't get to the cache.
