I maxed a crew skill and was wondering why there are only quests with moderate/abundant yields. Are the bonuses from companions what allow you to get higher yield quests from level 49-50?

I was wondering if the slicing bonus from Theran Cedrex would allow me to get better slicing missions once I am at 400 slicing. As it stands, I can't get anything above Abundant Yield.

Where do I find low-level pvp gear as a jedi consular? I got to the vendor in coruscant and he doesnt appear to sell anything but level 50 gear.
