I'm not quite new, though a returning player for SWToR. Came back a couple of weeks ago, fell in love again, leveled some characters and now trying to equip them. Now I've found the Bounty Supply Faction and I really do love some of their skins. But it seems that I can't grind reputation. I cannot find any Bounty Packs in the Cartell Market and there's only 13 packs on the GTN ranging from 550k to 950k. Is that really the only way to farm reputation with that faction? Will those packs come back?

Hey everyone, so a couple of weeks ago I decided to give SWToR another try. Had not played for years but the fun really got me again. So during the last few weeks I tried different chars to get a feeling for the game again, ran every Flashpoint and Operation I could get my hands on and leveled my two highest characters to 55. Now with 3.0 on the horizon I was wondering... I just started gearing up my Sage and my Operative, they both are in 162s to 168s . But before I put too much effort into gearing up I was wondering. I really don't want to put all my time into getting new 168 to 180 gear only to find out that it's outdated two weeks later because of the new levelcap. Am I seeing that wrong? Or will there be not such a big difference? Thanks.

Hey everyone, about three weeks ago i returned after a 2 year break. The game really got me again, got my main from 50 to 55 and startet gearing up. One thing I don't really know yet is where to get good mainhand weapons. Most of my other gear is between 162 and 180 except for my mainhand. I've read that there should be reputation vendors somewhere but can't seem to find them. I've also read that the one time quests for Terror from Beyond and Scum and Villainy should get me some trade in Items for a good 180 hilt, yet I just can't seem to find the quest givers. Can anyone point me to them please? Edit: I'm Republic if that matters

So I got back into the game after a long break and really beginning to love it again. Still there's something i don't get yet. Probably someone here can answer my questions? My Agent got to 53 yesterday, so I started to search GTN for the looks my gear should have at endgame plus trying to get my first augments for the gear I already have. I already got enough comms to buy the first pieces of Oboran gear at 55. The thing is, I just found out that I need each Oboran piece to upgrade to the better Brutalizer piece later. Now if I take out the mods of the Oboran gear (I really just can't stand the looks) and place them in my already augmented pieces of gear does that mean i cannot upgrade to Brutalizer anymore? Can anyone help me on that? And i also read that I should try and get the PVE Set Bonuses for PVP wouldn't there be the same problem? Thanks in advance.

Versteht mich nicht falsch. Ich spiele in jedem BG auf Win, dass ich dabei die Stats toppe ist ein netter Nebeneffekt - und natürlich passiert das nicht immer. Es sei denn mein gesamtes Team ist zu doof um mehrmals zu siebt nen Tapp zu verhindern, dann schau ich was ich noch aus der Runde machen kann und zerge blöd. Ich spiel öfters mit nem Freund. Und zu sehen wie wir zu zweit 4-6 Spieler aufhalten während trotzdem 2 andere Punkte getappt werden ist sehr witzig. Trotzdem toppen wir die Stats regelmäßig. Ich weiß wir gehören zu den oben genannten 15%, von nix kommt halt nix. Ich find es nur traurig, dass die Essenz des MMOS inzwischen zu sein scheint: "ich muss nix können und alles dafür bekommen". Es geht hier nicht um "Wir sind so geil, alle anderen scheisse". Es ist nur diese seltsame Art von Konsumgesellschaft die mich irritiert. Alles was gut läuft heißt ich bin IMBA, wenn ich verliere sind alle anderen schuld und ich eh der beste.

Es geht weniger um die Bedeutung, als um meinen Gesamteindruck vom Spiel. Ich kann mich kaum daran erinnern, dass jemals irgendwo irgendetwas positives über das PVP hier gepostet wurde. Und wenn ich dann gleichzeitig die Mehrheit der Posts hier sehe krieg ich jedesmal dieses /facepalm emote über meiner Stirn.

Da ich ein höflicher Mensch bin fasse ich mich heute mal kurz und flame nicht Aber so langsam irritiert es mich... Allein heute ist es mir drei mal passiert. Aber so langsam gewöhne ich mich daran. Ich joine solo eine warzone queue, komme bei 5-7 Minuten Restzeit in ein Huttenball Match. Kurz drauf ist das Spiel um, manchmal gewinnt meine Seite weil ich noch 1-2 Punkte machen konnte als es 0-0 oder 0-1 stand. Manchmal ist es einfach nur ein gnadenloser Untergang. Was mir viel öfter auffällt. Obwohl ich 10 Minuten Rückstand habe, wenn die Stats auftauchen, habe ich den meisten Schaden meines Teams gemacht, gleichzeitg die meiste Heilung, die meisten Kills. Solo! Ich stehe einerseits nach 5 Minuten auf Platz 1 der Liste und sehe andererseits hier alle zwei Minuten einen Tread eröffnet mit der Kernaussage "Ich als Klasse X kann nichts machen, alle anderen Klassen sind OP, das Spiel ist scheiße, alle gehören generft, balancing is fürn arsch." Ich spiele seit über 10 Jahren MMORPGs, mein Fokus lag immer auf PVP und ich versuche immer das Maximum aus meinen Chars rauszuholen. Was läuft hier falsch?
