Honestly in 93 lvls of pvp I havent even played Pyro once on my Merc. Its been all healing or missiles. I wanna respec Powertech so I can go Advanced Prototype or check out shields with some Jetpack/Grapple business. Like an above post said they would like to check Assassins out after playing Sorc so long. If people had more options other than reroll timesinks youd see alot of ppl still playing...THEIR MAIN character.

Then why do guardians and sentinels share the exact same tree: Focus? Its the same for Marauders/Juggs. Yah one can be a pure tank, thats the difference. You telling me a Juggernaut player would have no clue how to play a Marauder if they respecced?

And again, those devs are gone. Obviously the game must evolve due to its current failure. So by all means shoot down money making options that players want and that might satisfy them to stay. You must be a fan of the Highlander movies, because if the game doesnt evolve there will be only 1...... player left that is.

A long time ago I stated if you dont want to partake then dont. I mean ive never seen more people get upset about something that obviously doesnt pertain to them than this. If youre happy great, if not then promote the respec. When they released countless legacy perks and such, I was disappointed because I wanted more pvp content. I didnt come and complain here to try and deprive people that asked for it and were interested in the content. Apparently control freaks as yourself cannot help themselves.

My whole reason for developing this thread was to re-introduce this discussion with the F2P model coming. The negative nancys that rear their ugly heads are entertaining to say the least. As to the armor comment, yah youd have to get your ducks in a row and square up sorc equivalent armor before respeccing from assassin. The main school of thought from the naysayers is "the devs said this" or " A class is that".... pfffft. The main devs that created the game are all but gone my friend, we are all that remains of that ancient religion. Its time we stop thinking about what Thomas Wayne wouldve done and be responsible gamers. Also, A class is Bounty hunter, Inquisitor and so on. An Advanced Class is simply that... Mercenary, Powertech, Juggernaut. So you guys can quit with all the conjecture. Gimme the Respec.

I'm sure the devs designed the game to flourish and last longer than half a year before declaring failure. Gimme the respec.

LOL Hizoka at it again. Thanks for really showing true knowledge of the game in the thread. Powertechs are melee? Tell me how many melee moves they have as opposed to ranged. Rocket Punch, Retractable Blade(must spec into it), looking for more but cant quite place them... If you say flameburst/sweep is pffft. Dont go away mad bro, just go away.

Someone again with WoW garbage. Yah a Pyro specced Powetech is SOOOOOOO much different than a Pyro specced Merc LOL. Flame burst, carbonize, flame sweep vs. Powershot, Concussion missile, and fusion missile. Man I need 80 plus more lvls to understand those Powertech abilities as opposed to the garabge ones I have atm.

And you have been Xantos, with a really fantastic and hugely needed LEGACY TREE. People with altitis have been well rewarded with all the Legacy stuff. I agree with the comment of it being just a matter of time before this is introduced. The company WILL make profit from it if its a paid feature.

People above were asking what MMO ever let you respec entirely to a different class even. DC Universe Online let you completely discard your character at whatever level and respec into Hard Light (Green Lantern Powerset) AND go damage or control etc... There was talk of Lightning and Earth doing this but it didnt happen. Even City of Heroes/Villains eventually let you switch ENTIRE factions. After all at lvl 10 when we all played this game on day 1, we knew that approximately 70 lvls later how our characters would be hosed. So why not make it permanent, just like the devs that said this have quit or been fired... coincidentally 1-2 weeks before F2P was announced.

Randal its called a choice, no one is REQUIRING you to make one. I want the ability CHOOSE something else, and many other people might keep playing if they had the choice.

Was the server you picked a binding choice as well? Glad it didnt turn out to be or I guess youd be playing with yourself moreso than normal. Oh and to the earn something guy, I guess the 2 different War hero sets I have (Healing, and Dps) were just handed out by logging in. I guess Social X I have just appeared by buying collectors edition. When people rolled a character on their original server and suffered bad luck with the population decrease they offered a server transfer, and eventually will offer PAID server transfers with the F2P model. I'll prolly reach valor 100 by Labor day, a nice incentive would be the option of respeccing WITHIN the class to keep fresh. Also guy, dont come in here like youre the MAN saying what is and what isnt. The post wasnt a request for approval from players, it was a REQUEST to the developers to implement something. You guys must love playing alone with people leaving in droves, but hey if you bring up something that might satisfy people to stay you fight it tooth and nail.
