  1. In regards to the issue of this class being easily kited, I propose the following changes. I haven't played a Sentinel/Marauder or Shadow/Assassin extensively in PvP, so I can't speak for them. Some of these changes would apply to Sentinels/Marauders, though. Force Leap: Make this ability independent of the global cooldown and remove the minimum range requirement on it. I realize one of the Sentinel combat trees already lowers the minimum range on Force Leap; this would need to be changed to another ability. Saber Throw: Remove the minimum range requirement on it and make it refresh force leap. Dispatch: Increase its range to 30m; do not add a minimum range requirement. Freezing Force: Change this ability to root enemies in place instead of simply slow them; increase its cooldown. That's all I have at the moment. The fact that melee classes do not have more HP than ranged classes and the auto-facing for ranged classes are issues that should also be considered at some point, though.
  2. Datacrons are in SW:TOR as an incentive and reward for exploration and puzzle-solving. I know some people are frustrated with some of the hoops one has to jump through to get them, while others have no problem with them. Whatever your opinion on them, I think most people would probably agree that once you've found a datacron on one character, finding them again on an alt probably loses any exploratory sense and instead is more an exercise in repetition and tedium. My suggestion, then, is to have the datacron codex entries, stat bonuses, matrix shards, and possibly some of the XP reward for finding them be linked to an account and thus apply across characters, so that once one of your characters finds a datacron, its rewards apply to all of your characters. I think this would provide a nice boost when making new characters and make the idea of hunting down all the datacrons more palatable to a lot of players. I realize the datacrons are optional and the automatic response is not to bother with them on alts if you find tracking them all down repeatedly to be boring, but the fact that they provide useful -- if small -- bonuses typically compels their acquisition. On a sidenote, I know this has been mentioned before, but the time involved in acquiring a few of the datacrons needs to be looked at. The most egregious offender of these is the Jawa balloon on Tatooine, probably -- it could do to be sped up quite a bit.
