  1. Trying to see what people like, so I posted another quick video. I've learned that people in general really do NOT like laggy videos. This is a quickly edited huttball match I just played. I play at 2560x1600 resolution which is 16:10, but have to convert to 1080 or 720 which is 16:9. So I can crop to show no UI, or I can leave the black bars on the sides of the video. Which do you guys prefer? Any comments/critiques would be really helpful. Also frapsed this video at half quality to eliminate lag, but half quality of 2560x1600 should still be able to do 720p... hopefully, we'll see lol. Thanks in advance guys. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLbjMx2RGN8

  6. Wish I could be there on Thursday, though.
  7. Hey guys! My guild went out for some world pvp in Illum the other day, so I decided to take a crack at making a fraps video out of it. This is my first attempt at using fraps or sony vegas pro, or uploading to youtube in general! I think everything turned out pretty well, and I had a lot of fun making it. Unfortunately the video is a "bit" laggy due to the insane amount of players on screen at once, but this is more of a test run than anything else. Just want to get a feel for what people like, and ways I might be able to improve for future videos. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy the vid! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3xYyYKkiR0

  11. Healing is fine. Burst damage is out of control for the simple fact that group pvp balance relies on utilizing guard. I rarely ever see guard used very well. This is because most healers are pretty bad, and who wants to guard when they get no heals. I usually pull 300-400k healing and see maybe 30k guard protection at the most. Situations that make me want to rage quit this game: dying from full health in 3-4sec within a stun. Trinket, you say? It's a 2min cooldown. How many times can I be stunned within 2min? A hellavalot more than once.
  12. The combat just isn't responsive enough in warzones (aka end game pvp). I know some play for the story, some play for the questing or end game raiding. But there are also people who play solely for end game pvp, casual or hardcore, it's just not fun for those who have experienced better (in terms of smoothness). Examples of what I mean: -Ability Delay (catch interupts maybe 50% of the time if you're spot on) -Abilities sometimes ignore you, meaning they don't activate when you click them. -50% FPS loss in warzones -Chain stuns lasting well over 10 sec at a time (CC like force lift is fine, np w/that) I gave it a month, but I'm gone on the 22nd. I really appreciate the continued effort on Biowares part. The questing, story and voice overs are all excellent. I like the warzones, it's just not fun to play for those who know better.
