  1. Thanks for the response. I'm on the west coast, so it looks like SS is my choice!
  2. Hello all, I'm returning after 2+ years and before I start over, I'm looking for some advice on server choice. It looks like, from the website, there's only 3 now? What's the difference between them? Thanks!
  3. Hello all, I'm returning after several years. I live on the West Coast and don't PvP. Wanting to start completely over to enjoy every aspect of the game again, I deleted all of my previous characters. That leaves me with a little over 5 million credits on Shadowlands. I've read that it's a light server and Harbringer is the most populated. My question to the general community is, should I stay on Shadowlands because I have all those credits, or start over on Harbringer? I'm really not sure what direction to go here. Thank you!
  4. Hello all, I'm playing on two computers and spent a lot of time getting one all set up. On the other, none of my settings, interface changes, etc. came over. Is it possible to copy all of my preferences from one computer to the other? Besides maybe copying the entire SWTOR folder onto a portable hard drive? Thanks!
  5. Thank you everyone for your responses! I really do appreciate it. I went and dropped around 250,000 on getting Qyzen geared. After playing all weekend, here's my observation. In the high 40s, I find that he takes much more damage if I send him in first. So I switched gears and let him pick up aggro after I decimate one first. Seems to work fairly well. To be honest, I have a little more downtime as a DPS with a tank companion versus a DPS with a healer. Fights are a little quicker, but not significant. The only reason why I'm even bothering is to max out affection for the achievement buffs. All things considered, I think next time I will just continue to run Diplomacy missions for companion gifts, and switch to the other companions to get their affection up, and level with my healer. I'm assuming that's what most people do who have actually maxed out affection on all of their companions. I can't imagine how otherwise people do it!
  6. Greetings all, As a DPS, I've always used the healer companion. It is quite honestly the easiest way to go. My question is this, as a 45 Jedi Shadow, how survivable would I be if I geared up Qyzon as a melee tank? I don't want to spend a ton of credits on current level gear, only to go back to using my healer again. Can anyone share success observations of being a DPS class using a tank (or DPS) companion and leveling well? Thanks!
  7. The Bounties I can solo, the Kingpins I can't. And I can never find a group and/or help at my level on my 35. My questions i regarding the benefits of doing the bounty quests. Since it's just a rep grind, the benefits affect all your Legacy. Meaning, it doesn't matter who you do them on. That's what I need confirmation on.
  8. Since rep is shared, and there's a weekly cap, does it matter if you do bounties and Kingpin kills as a 25 or a 55? It all adds up to the same account, so it shouldn't matter? The reason I ask is that I have a very hard time getting help with Kingpin kills with my lower level characters. If I can do it as my 55 and get the same credit, it sounds like it'll be easier to get help?
  9. I was in Torwars on the Empire side for quite some time. Good bunch, but their Republic side (at the time) was almost non-existent. Any better now?
  10. Greetings Shadowlands, I've been playing SWTOR for over a year now and still feel that I can't find the right guild. I'm borderline thinking about giving up altogether and playing another game. It's MUCH more fun with a guild that suits your play style and that's what I can't seem to find. I don't know if it's the server, the game or what. What I'm looking for is: 1. I live on the west coast. I'm in the PST time zone. I'm usually on 7-10 pm nightly. I'm looking for a guild who has at least 15 people on during that time. The more the merrier! 2. I've been in large guilds and guild chat is still quiet. I know a lot of people in this game prefer voice programs to chat, but that doesn't fit with my play style. I use guild chat and I want to be in a guild that responds when I ask for advice, or am looking for a group. 3. I want to be in a guild where people under max level still group. I should NOT have to go into a random FP finder when there's at least 5-10 people online in my level range. Especially when I ask if anyone wants to join me and I hear crickets. 4. I'm not into PvP and honestly don't do much end-game content. I tend to hit max level, then roll an alt. But I'm a very active player. I don't think these are too demanding. I just want to enjoy the SW universe with a guild who's fun and involved. If anyone can recommend a guild that fits the above, please post here and let me know. I look forward to talking to someone about their guild. Thank you for your time!
  11. Wow, that seems like a pretty big bug! What if you put that person on ignore?
  12. ok, someone please explain this to me. I log onto my alt to put stuff on the market. An alt that is level 10 and not guilded. I log off and log into another alt and get a tell from someone asking to buy something I posted (as the different alt). How the heck did that person know who I was when I switched characters? ??
  13. I noticed the same thing. I did a /who morningstar several times over the past few weeks and rarely see more than 5 or so people online. Usually between 6-9 pm PST. Granted the /who command doesn't always seem to work.
  14. What names are you usually on as so I can look for you online?
  15. How many people would you say are online in the evening (republic side). I'm usually on 7-10 PST time zone. Also, how often do people of non-50 level do FPs?

  18. Still looking for a guild that has more than 10 people on.
  19. Your post intrigues me. What names can you be found with online? I'd like to discuss your guild some more. Thanks.
  20. Can you please give me your character names (or other officers) so we can chat in game? Thanks.
  21. Hello all I know there are many posts advertising guilds, what they offer, etc. I'm posting here to take a more direct approach. I've filled out applications on many websites over the years to see if the guild is a fit for me. I find that "most" of the time, the advertising is not as accurate as it I would have appreciated. I've joined guilds that talk about a large community, only to find less than 10 people on at any time (checking in over a few weeks time). Or guilds who say they help lower level members, and they're always doing max-level content. I prefer to talk to Officers in-game to find out the truth before going through the trouble of filling out applications, joining websites, etc. What I am looking for is responses here from people in guilds they can recommend for me please. I am looking for a guild who has more than 10 people on in the evenings (I tend to be on 7-10 pm PST daily) and/or weekends. I'm also looking for a guild who gets together to do non-max-level groups. I shouldn't have to queue for flashpoints when I'm in a guild with 20 or 30+ people on. I tend to hit 50, then move on to an alt, I'm not a hardcore raider. I will log on a 50 to help when needed and really do enjoy that. But I enjoy the game and want to do so with people that are friendly and enjoy what they're doing. If there are any guilds like this on our server, please respond below with your in-game names so we can chat in more detail. Thank you all.
