The game is on Life support due to this very problem. Pvp is a big part of Swtor and haveing the pvp gimped by a huge unbalance in the WZ pvp does not help out at all.
If we get more balance by creating separate queues more ppl might start pvping. Many players stay out of pvp due to the premades creating a very discomforting unbalance in the WZs.
Why is it so hard for the premades to go face other premades? The number of premades is so HUGE that you easily could form a queue of your own.

It would be extremely good for the game if the premade Groups would face other premade Groups. It would bring balance and more fun for all.
It does NOT mean that ppl are forbiden to Group with friends!! Only that Groups face other Groups - i.e. more MMO for MMO enthusiastic people!
The big logical error some ppl make is that they Think a premade queue would be a ban on grouping, while its quite the contrary.

Not sure what you mean, you already do have the option not to face a premade as a PUG. You can exercise this option by grouping with up to three other people and *boom*, just like that, you aren't facing a premade as a pug. I thought I saw somebody give that advice already, but it doesn't sound like it took, let me know if you need more detailed instructions and I'd be glad to help!
I dont want to have to Group in order to do some casual pvping. Its time consuming and it hampers my flexibility, since i like to mix pve / pvp. I like to do Flashpoints, PVE areas, WZs ina mixed order after my own choise. And being grouped to otheres all the time stops me from doing this. I also have to leave the computer now and then for RL stuff,a nd being grouped will hamper the whole Group or ill have to find a new Group every time i get back to the computer.
I just want FREEDOM OF CHOISE. Nothing else. And the premades can go face other premades for a better challange then stomping PUGs.

Seems the last Days of pvp activity been at a all time low. The WZ pop are longer and longer apart in time.
Its time BW does something about the bully-hords of premades in regular WZs. But i Think it might be too late already.

Population on some servers can't even support 4 vs 4 Arena. Anything that needs to get bigger, need something new added. In a community that 'new' is people in general. For a PvP community, specific, to grow there must be more people that PvP.
As it is, proved in many threads here, over and over again. SWToR PvP lack tolerance, and caters those who, it would seem, voicy bullies, who's only reply has been so predictable it is silly. Any constructive, including thread, that's written here almost always get the same greeting. "Don't touch unranked; I don't want an option to play with friends against other teams of friend that work to make their skill better. I don't want the option for real MMO competitive PvP ."
There will always be Gankers, those who don't dare face up to competitive PvP, The current state of SWToR WZ's give those Gankers a voice, SWToR WZ is currently a Gank haven. And what most 'Real, hardcore, self proclaimed non-bads PvPer' says in these threads is "don't take my Ganking privileges away".
A Ganker is a PvPer who prey on other lowskilled, low leveled PvPer. In open world PvP they usually revisits low level areas for a sure win. They always attack in greater numbers and/or if they should choose to single challenge you, lingers around areas where you are questing against an NPC and when you get low on health chooses to attack you for a sure win. They are always present in PvP, like a plague, in SWToR WZ's they, currently, got a home.

swtor hampers right now of this huge issue that the game grants good ground for the worst kind of player types. It scares off nice, serious players and leaves a crater of bullies left ingame.
Swtor needs to focus to get rid of this bully-friendly enviroment or the game wont live for long.

You have just discovered why team based games should never ever have a solo queue option. Each player's performance is highly dependent overall on the team. Play a lone wolf shooter game. While you can't always carry your team to victory if your team is that bad, you will probably do better than each person on the other team simply because you were better, and your team was bad.
In this game, the skillcap is so abysmally low and is so team based that many matches really are lopsided. They're lopsided because one team is better, yes, but it really does suck for skilled individuals that don't premade. And yes, regardless of how good I am, i cannot solo 7 people. In shooter games, its not that difficult. Of course the metagame is so much different. It's not zerg-based, and people dont group up since skirmishes are <2 seconds long instead of 2 minutes like in TOR.
Good post and hits the spot of the problems. Thats why its so important that teams are balanced and PUG (random team) are not to face hi-geared, balanced, well co-op premade teams.

My record on Rift was 27 straight losses.
Last year, I broke that record with 48 straight losses as an Imp. The most depressing time I have ever seen as a gamer. And in 40 of those matches, it was all down to have idiots on the team who couldn't node guard, call inc or let a bomb get planted within 30 seconds!
Guess theres an increaseing number of premades causing that. Ive had the same kind of experiance.

I agree.
The only drawback would be PvP players insulting other PvP playwers like "how dare you enter Ranked with your crappa gear 111!!!eleven".
But apart from that, I like this suggestion.
We have to disregard from those immature pvpers and focus on the serious players who wants to make something good of this game

I dont know how much more u can socialize than I do. Im member in a few diffrent Guilds and i pvp and pve alot. I just dont like to be hooked and tied-down in a specific team all time since I mix pvp/pve alot.

I want to que up for WZs, but guess what? My teammates are potatoes.
I really think their needs to be a skill ranking system(Like the One in Halo 3).
I dont Think any skill ranking system will work. How will you calulate "skill" in a gearbased game? Or how you prevent exploits to occur inside Guilds/frineds that will rank up themselves in turns?

add a ranked daily, give it actually good rewards. people will come.

You wanna know why Ilum is dead? Because people are carebear ******* like you. Not even kidding there. When I was alone and there were 10 Imps, they were more than happy hunting me down over and over again. I bring 5 friends, bam they disappear. When there's good players online (i.e. Idiots like you are offline) we have tons of fun there.
And again, you said in OWPvP you can rally friends to farm the enemy. What's so evil about you doing the exact same thing? You said you have friends who will rally with you in "real OWPvp" right? Go ahead. Ask those frineds to queue with you. Why whine about something so easily solved?
The tell me why its not working? Why is there ever any good pvp going on there? Why its Always a gankgroup vs a few solo guys there? Why does all other MMOs get those open World areas to work and BW fails epically?
Im not sure I haven the answer, stuff just isnt working in swtor as they do in all other MMO. Its failed for some reason

Uh-uh. Keep one thread open for logical discussion, drown out all the others so bigger issues like class balance, bolster bugs, death of Ranked, etc can be discussed.

Premades are ruining anyone's lawn - because they can.
They don't care about who has something against ruined lawns. Or the quality of the ruined lawn after ruining.

OK good so I really know you meaning me. Just for the report on your behavior, so you cant excuse yourself it wasnt me you were referring to.
As far as I know some of those posts you made clearly qualifies under crimes (defamation) in most countries, so keep doing it and ill make some other kind of RL report on you.

It seems that silly old UncelSam is back with his issue about premades and has necro'd every single thread about it since launch.
So my solution is that every time the front page is filled with anti-premade vitriol, we bump back every single thread from page 2, or create new ones to make sure the premade issue doesn't look as blown out of proportion as it is now.
Also, make sure to keep all but *one* premade thread off the front page. Make sure there's at least one where those interested in healthy discussion can find it, but drown the rest out.
I'm starting this right now. Anyone else bumping quality threads back to page 1 is welcome.
Yea lets wipe alll threads that been posted, so noone can remember who wrote what and why. Lets bury all old sins and crazy ideas about premades. Its verboten to talk about premades in any other way than advocating more premades or cheering the premade troops that stomps the PUGs.
I recall there was a place they burned books too, way back in history...

Remove this ranked crap, its not working and no one likes it.
Just make premade Groups face other premade Groups and PUG go vs PUG.
It will increase rotation and balance in the WZ = More players will start pvping.
Or that you create open World pvp planets where u can get reinforcements to face the premades. The curent situation is just not working and the whole game is on decline and urgently needs a chnange.
