Pretty sure they knew there would be backlash no matter what was done. 1. Stagger invites so that the number of angry people slowly goes down as time goes on 2. Let everyone in, potentially crippling servers (too many people in starting zones, etc), causing service black/brownouts and generally spotty play Personally, I think the right choice was made; it won't be too long before the angry masses number fewer than those that are happily mainlining their newest gaming addiction.

Of course it won't; it will, however, let the developers know that there are people out there that appreciate the time and effort that has gone into this whole thing. From what I can see, the forums are mostly negative and/or confrontational; having something nice said would be like an oasis for those that have to actually monitor the forums. I know if I was on the other side of this fence that I would most certainly appreciate an internet pat on the back, whether others think I deserve it or not.

If four waves are planned, it doesn't guarantee that only four will be sent. Food for thought.

There are only four planned; that doesn't expressly prohibit Bioware from giving us a big fat internet hug and doing more waves.
