The Sunday Shift Team at BW, lost site of the server admins whilst they were rading on WoW...... Go ahead, flame, laugh, scald..... it could happen.....

*Disclaimer* I completely understand why the transfers have to happen, and it serves the community as a whole in a better light. I am on board the “Yes” on server transfers bandwagon. I am glad this service is taking place overall BUT This is what irritates me to high Heaven… Those of us that have to wait for the weekend to determine if, what, when, and where we are going. The handful of us left, have to sit idly by and watch the estimated 80%+ of the community rejoice in High pops and fast pvp que’s. We have to suffer for 7+ days (this includes the past week) and watch the forums explode with things like “omg TY BW I can enjoy the game again” etc….. We have to sit and “Suck it up” longer than anyone else, as that carrot is dangled in front of us, all the time still wondering our ultimate fates. This wait game for the select few, is Just plain unprofessional on so many levels from a Business “customer support” aspect it’s not funny. In plain terms, we are getting the Major Shaft. Yes, I know we can still log in and play. You my Trolling Friend, are 100% correct. Yet when we log in it’s too a dead server, and were are left playing Solo for a MMO we PAY for to PLAY.  This while having heard all week, and will here for the next 3+ days, how much the 80%+ of the Game Population is re-enjoying the new found glory of this M M O. Yes, I know again my Trolling Friend, there are a few that do not like the new server que’s and arsehats that plague there community, but at least there not left alone on a deserted island holding there proverbial &^%$’s in there hands. Along with a confused wt# expression on there face’s. As a PAYING customer, it is in my opinion I am being taken advantage of, and not allowed to experience the same full service as other paying customers are. If this was any other type of business (for the most part) the majority of us would demand refunds, compensations, etc… But we all know very well this will not take place. Thank you for whoever read my wall of text, and allowing me to vent freely. Though it may not change anything, in fact I KNOW it will NOT. I still thank you for your time in indulging my rant. If you were in line to say upgrade your internet service, while wiating in the lobby and there was two grps of people. The first Grp, are all the people who have upgraded said internet, for the same price you are paying. The second Grp are the people laying in wait to upgrade there same service for the same price. But in this story, the lobby allows the frist grp to use the upgrade directly infront of the 2nd Grp, for up to and past 6+ days. While the company lobby attendants state they are haulting upgrades to review there products, directly in front of you while you are still in the same lobby as the first Grp. My Question Trolls, in thise secnario you are telling me you would not be Irritated, annoyed? and would keep your mouth shut and say ok, no worries they will eventually get to me?

I am Moving this week, and will NOT have internet acess for almost 14-18 days. What if the xfers come in for my server while I am gone, and my Guild transfers like planned. But when I come back the free transfers are closed..... Without obvisouly having to give my account info to a Guildy and time the pushing of my digital lock code with a phone call, how do deal with this? Is there a confirmed, posted time when the free transferes will be ended?

Waiting 5 years for this game...Overwhelmed with anticipation and excitment, 5$ Standing in Virtual line to get the preorder and redeem code at 12:05 am, 179$ Playing Early start and hitting 50 within 1.5 weeks, 40+ hours of Burnt vacation time. Working hard for 8 months, building a legacy name and a server repuation, (along with 4 level 50 Alts) just to have your Legacy names and reputations to be taken away, Priceless

I can see both side of the fence here, and I can completly understand poeples frustration. I for one, assume the reason for characters on each side of the factions will be thus.... My train of thought is BW is going to make us locate parts, quest items etc on both sides of the war. Then using the Legacy ability to transfer goods to opposing factions we will then pass these said items back and forth through a long quest chain which ulimately unlocks the HK unit. Just my 2 cents. I actually think this is a good idea, making us put in the work for a Just reward.

Like the header/title said I am doing my best to “Hold my breath” with this game. Hi, My name is Hellsworn and I would venture to say I am a tab bit of a fanboy, as I remember Seeing Star Wars for the first time in early June 1977, San Francisco, Ca. Since then I have been excited for every installment of the Star Wars Universe, and yes at times I have been disappointed but yet I ramble on. With Gaming, I have well over 17 years of Online experience both as a Hard core raider, and a GM of high end raiding Guilds. Both roles have done nothing but humble me as a player, and taught me a lot about the Gaming culture. With this said, it’s really easy to think, or assume the grass is greener on the other side. We need to remember a few things as a community, and do our best to have patience (if that is even possible at this point). - WoW, ruined gaming imho to an extent. Back in the day WoW was Horrible during its first 6 months+ with bugs galore, and several speed bumps on the way. 8 years later, no matter what side of the fence your on, they got it down pretty good in a general sense. - Swtor, is in the same stages as WoW once was, BUT and a big BUT…Due to the History of games like WoW and there trials and tribulations, the community was expecting more of a polished game upon release. There expectations were greater, because they had already gone through the mud with other games and expected certain standard tools within the game. So when Swtor 6 months later, does not have some or all of the standard elements other mmo’s posses, the Nerd Rage train is hard to stop. Now, with the above said I have done my best to sit back and ride It out so to speak as it has effected me, but not with severe consequences. Well Until this last week … We all know as Gamers when the Summer hits we see a DIP in the players base due to RL. Vacations, life moves, overall changes etc… effect the server populations, and raiding numbers. For the first time I am seeing the real change on the server. My Guild still raids High End, NM ev/kp, and HM EC 8/16 3x times a week. But other than that 3 raiding days, Good luck trying to find a Op or FP for you alts. There is literally NO one online. I know this horse has been beat more than Debbie Does Dallas, but it’s getting really really bad. I am holding My breath…..that server merger’s come sooner than later. I am holding my breath that this game Fights like Rocky, and doesn’t just fade away. Please understand I agree with most of the community on the major issue’s with the game, I am just trying to have Faith like George Michael. Here's my issue. Regardless of Skill, gear, bleh bleh bleh. PvP IMO, is intended to be an aspect of the game aside from PvE, for those who enjoy this type of game play environment. Prior to patch 1.2, if you put in effort, even with a loss you felt decently rewarded for YOUR contributions if you were able to grind out some medals. I averaged 7-10 with a loss or win prior to 1.2 at the level 50 bracket. 5-9 At the lower levels. So even when we had complete Hardtards on my team, there was still reason to stay due to my own hard work in said game. So fastforward to yesterday. I re-rolled, to check the new legacy etc.... Made level 15 in about 3 hours as a Jedi Guardian. Qued for matches, fully expecting to lose due to 5-1 Imp vs Pub ratio Numbers (not confirmed), and we did just that lose. BUT, heres the big BUT. I only obtained 5 badges, and after the loss I received 0......xp.....0....coms.....0 credits..... aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh wth? So I que Again, with the same results. not sure if this is the new system or just a bug but this will be the straw that broke the camels back for me. I am not hardcore by any means, and I don't QQ about winning or losing, nor do I join the give me free gear Whannnnnnnnhbulance Train. BUt I do have Major issues with wasting hours of my life for 0 xp, 0 reward. So now I forced to play the Game tailored to a PvE track, or I roll the dice and hope I don't get a scrub team for WZ's. I respectfully Request to play the game the way I want to, without fear of wasting my time. ONe can Dream right?

I was under the impression that most if not all Schems would become BoE with 1.2 i.e..... Tionese Combat medic relay, etc...... ONly thing I noticed that changed was the speeder bikes. Can anyone confirm if this was intended, or I just had my head so far up my own a r s e, that I missed the boat. As a side note, I saw speeders go onto the GTN at 2mil, and hour later 1mil. Now they steady out at 200k, before server Maint..... Cracks me up. Being a Cybertech myself, I would never think a player would spend 1mil for a Hotrigged Speeder Bike, when you can get a similar skin model from the vendor for under 100k...... boggles my mind. The fight for Luke Vs Superman would go as follows: Luke (lightsaber is activated)- "I am a Jedi Master, you have no chance at Victory. Surrender now" Superman, Smirks. Uses superspeed, basically almost a time stop ability, and ***** slaps luke. Rinse Repeat, with various LOL you got *** pwned attacks from Superman. Enough Said. Luke vs Batman. They stand of, but the fight never goes anywhere...... Why you ask? Because Batman states before the fight "I am Batman" LUke Replies "Unlimited Powa" Batman says again "Im Batman" Luke States "Unlimited Powa", this goes on for hours, days..........

I have read different posts, and I am a tad confused. Can you or can't you buy the BOL Armor sets from vendors? Or do you have to find all the drops world wide from random mobs to complete a full set? Clarification of this would be greatly appreciated.

I have sat here for years and watched this game evolve. I have at times been on the “Hatewagon” and at times I have defended BW with my full grit. I have over 16 years of online gaming, starting way back with Asherons Call (beta) In 1996, playing through SWG, WoW, Rift, and now Swtor (beta tested all, but Swtor). I have seen things come and go. The ups and downs of games, the community’s that spawned from them, and the drama balls that Trolls have always pushed with a fierce effort. This game, I waited so long for was near and dear to my heart, and I loved and cherished the day I logged in and made my first Toon (yes I still, and will always call them that). I love PvP, and as an Old School pvp’er I found Swtor to be fun, but not the “addictive” I was looking for. With that said, I am still enjoying the game as a whole, because for me I wanted it to be my personal WoW Killer, after years of playing the same game. I built my own hopes and dreams for this game to a level, which was unfair to me and BW alike. I held them, and this game to a “Pre-conceived-standard” if you will. So when it fell short in my opinion, it was a bigger blow then I think was warranted. Now I am not on the “Troll Train”, and I agree/dis-agree with a lot of things in this game, but at the end of the day I am in it for better or worse. Reading this thread, I can see both sides of the Coin. I agree skill should always Trump gear. Yet at the same time, the people (regardless of their Real life playability/schedule) who put in that extra effort to reach certain ranks should be rewarded for their hard work. Now these are just my humble opinions, and are nowhere near Gospel for this Game. In my eyes, there are in game goals to be reached on a personal level. Yet I do fear all these changes if not fixed in the long run for the better will destroy a huge player base due to the perceived lack of support for the hardcore. As a Leader of Major Guilds in the past, and from real life experience. It will always be a double edged sword, because for every one person you satisfy, there is the potential you have pissed off two. It’s a fine line BW will have to come to terms with in the long run. I for one, feel like the legs are being cut out from underneath the people who put in the hard work and long hours to achieve these personal goals. But again, just my opinion in a nutshell. Whether it is small or large, a “Hardcore” player needs to have his own lil slice of heaven in the game. There needs to be some level of which effort is rewarded, so the individual player does not feel left in the dust. I struggle with this issue every time I read the forums. I wish I had the answers to make everyone feel important, but I do not. I just hope the changes BW is making is not such a blow to the community, this game fails and goes away within the next 1-2 years. To the OP I feel your frustration, and wish you the best. You make no sense. 1- PvP Weapons are currently the best in the game, next to Rakatta. Thus, Armsmech is pointless atm. 2. PvP armor is better than T2. Thus Armormech is pointless atm. Until they revamp this loot table and balance things better, the only crew skill's that are beneficial atm, Biochem, and Cybertech. Bio for the stims, and Cyber for the ship upgrades etc... Troll less, add value more. Kthnxbye

First and foremost, I feel very fortunate to have tested beta, and loged in on Dec 13th. Though we all have our complaints about the game and it’s bugs, I for one am very happy to spend some serious geek time with Swtor. So with all the BS aside, let’s add some Levity to the game. Please use this thread, as your “Come on Man” moments, thus far. I will start with my big 3. 1) Knowing the BH and SI ending Class Quests are bugged, since Beta including no “Darth Title”, and not fixing before Launch. Come on Man! 2) Leveling on Voss with a 90%-100% mount. Get Quest A, go to X,Y (half way across Map) Return, after spending 40+ Minutes riding around, with only 30k xp to show for it. This is Star Wars, we know you have Hyper Drives, Pod Racers, etc….. you can’t fool us. Come on Man! 3) Getting stuck in a rock at lvl 12 on Korriban. Using /stuck option with no avail. Re-logging with no avail. Re-installing the game….with no avail. Submitting a ticket, to be told 1 day later there is nothing they can do about it, and I am forced to delete said toon, and re-roll. COME ON MAN! Ok your turn guys. This is not a Troll post, so go find one for your negative malicious intentions. This is a Humor post, with a small undertone of reality.

I hope they add legacy perks soon, already legacy rank 14, and I am going to be irritated if a low lvl rank perk allows extra xp bonues from re-rolling......... I just don't want to feel like I have wasted my time.
