I can't finish the Tattooine bonus missions. On one character I couldn't get the water thieves missions. Dester wouldn't talk to me even though "talk to Dester" was in my mission log. On another character it worked but the same problem occurred with Prof. Larcoh. The mission is listed but they won't give it and theres no triangle over their heads.

Is this Ancient Gree Relays quest one per account or something? I got the mission with one character, but none of my others can get it. I tried with another character and the droid did not give the mission, just made warbly sounds. (he had the mission triangle over his head). I tried with another character and here wasn't even the triangle. I don't think I missed anything as a pre-requisite so I'm not sure what the deal is.

It even sillier than that. How many times have you looked closely at another player to even NOTICE stubble? (Thats assuming they aren't wearing a head covering helmet). That being said I think its a bug, too. Whether or not they fix it is not a priority to me. Its simply not that big of a deal.

Considering the fat model bodies it wouldn't be that much of a shock.

Sometimes people just want to find conflict online. The posters you mentioned answered my initial post and I'm thankful for that.

I can clarify by saying I haven't played regularly recently but I've had my sub since launch. After I retired I went back to school for awhile and I had just had surgery so I was pretty much either in pain or busy. I'd log on and dink around my SH but that was about it.

Pot to kettle...I didn't brag I said that the guild thing wasn't for me. If you check you'll see I specifically said "for me" meaning it wasn't something that was working for me, alone. Mentioning that its not the first MMO or first experience in one isn't smack talk, its just clarifying that I've done this before. I also said to one or two posters that I appreciated their advice. That's all nice, but not really all that important to me. This isn't the first MMO for me, I've been playing this one since launch. I've been in guilds before I took a break from the game. (army retirement, surgery, going back to school, etc). It's already so easy to level I end up having more "free" xp boosts than my characters can use before they max level. Thats' a weird analogy. As I said this is not my first go 'round. I'd rather do without the baggage since (as I said above) the advantages aren't really worth the baggage and drama for me. "Self=Spite"? How? That doesn't even make any sense.

I appreciate the advice, but this isn't my first MMO. Heck, I've been playing this game since it launched. I just recently came back, though. You're right about ninja invites. The guild kept spamming them so I figured "Eh, why not?". My mistake, obviously, though it costs me nothing. It's too bad there's no "guild finder" in game so you could at least see what a guild is about. But I think I'm going to be done with guilds for the forseeable future. I don't see any real advantage in it and I 'd rather not deal with drama.

I doubt its because of not playing with a character. I've been playing those particular character almost every day. If its a discord thing no one told me and thats kind of a ***k move. After all they asked me to join...as in they spammed invites . If they had "rules" then they should have either sent a message or contacted me in guild chat. (if it was a "you never log into discord" thing I would have quit anyway. Thats not gonna happen.) I'll probably never know why they kicked me or if it was just me and I guess. It's kinda turned me off on guilds. I'll have to check to see if theres a way to autodecline invites. There was nothing in the guild that SH I don't have myself and it seems more trouble than its worth to join one.

This must have only happened within the last few hours, but a few of my alts were kicked from their guild(s). I'm not actually upset about it, I wasn't in the guild(s) that long and I don't think I even saw more than 2 other members of it even though they did have a fairly large roster. I'm just curious as to what caused this. I couldn't have pissed anyone off because there was so little interaction on guild chat I don't think I've said more than "what's up" a few times. I mean, hey they asked me to join. I'd expect at least maybe an in game mail to say "We're kicking you", but whatever. Thats 4 alts just kicked out for no reason that I know of. Glad I didn't put too much into the guild bank now. I say guild(s) plural because they were related in some way, DSGC and DSCG mandalorions. (I'm not even sure of what the abbreviation means, which I guess shows how much I was invested in the guild(s) anyway.

Makes me wonder if they noticed this when putting the event together and just didn't care or if they didn't catch it. (though I don't see how they could miss it)

Seriously, my bounty hunter sounds like he's got a lisp. Maybe its just the dialogue in the Bounty Week scenarios, but has anyone else noticed this?

I know this is a noob like question from an old returning player, but I just finished my consular's class story. What order should I do the post class story quests in? Are there dailies I should (solo) do also?

I couldn't find them on the CM and the GTN prices are astronomical. I just wanted to add some sound to my SH. IT feels weird having a band pf musicians playing and no sound.

I've been working on my stronghold(s) quite a bit and I want to add some music to my main one. I've looked around on the internet and found that they do have decorations that I guess make sound (I've not seen one in game ) but I'm not sure where to get them. Are they cartel market items only or is it possible to get them from a vendor (or craft, if possible)

Wasn't this sort of resolved years ago with City of Heroes VS Marvel Comics? The IP holder is obligated to defend their intellectual property or they possibly lose it. A few years ago my business partner and I had to send a cease and desist letter to someone that was using a character we created and published for their own business, so I totally understand where you're coming from robertthebard.

I'm a returning player that never did events except a few bounties before taking a break and yeah, having tried the gree event I'm thinking its a bit more like a chore than fun. So far it seems like the rewards are pretty low for some of the missions if you solo.

Now I'll be wondering if that Jawa is really saying "Hey, sailor....20 credits for a good time."

Stronghold question Are there any other vendors beside the fabricators and Felusia Stato? If so how can I acquire them?

Has this happened to anyone else---I was doing the Directive 7 Flashpoint (solo)and right after meeting the one droid that is on your side I went into the complex. I attacked the droids inside and I noticed...my companion (Vette) and the Combat Droid didn't come with me. They just stood in the doorway. I was quickly overpowered and faceplanted. After I rezzed I couldn't summon another combat droid. This happened on another alt, too, in the Maelstrom Prison. Then my companion just stayed in a hallway for a long time but the droid followed me. My companion only came back at the end fight. Is this just an issue with me or has anyone else experienced it?

You're right about the memories, lol. Back when you had to make your way through the Czerka complex I ran into an opposing player and we must have killed each other at least twice . (I admit I started it. I was on a sith inquisitor and stealth killed him. He came back later when I was distracted in a fight and got even). I don't know why they'd carve out the chunk of the mission, especially since you don't have to PvP in it if you don't want to. I don't know if anyone even flags themselves for PvP nowadays.

Why did they shorten the Tattooine Czerka mission? IIRC correctly once you took the elevator down in the complex you had to either stealth your way to the mission door or fight your way through. After being gone from the game for awhile I just finished the mission and elevator took me almost directly to the mission door. It was convenient, but I kinda miss the rest. Back in the day on a PVP server it added a bit of an etra challenge trying to not get ganked on the way. I'm just curious as to why they would make it this easy to get to the door. IT wasn't really that hard to begin with and you don't really have to worry about PvP doing it. (this isn't a complaint, I am just curious)

Maybe you misunderstand me. Because I know in the past that if you clicked on "Operation Silent Roar" or "Operation Whatever" the mission locations did show up on the map. In fact, they showed up on another alt's map. For this character none of them show up. ...and it would be a ridiculous design choice for them not to show up unless moused over on purpose. FTR they don't show up when I mouse over the map.
