  1. Im sure BW has taken into account the faction imbalance on the servers, I wouldn't be surprised to see some sort of bolster for the under dogs. If not, then Ilum will be the Sith powwow planet for sure. (in most cases)
  2. I just hit lvl 40 and VG is far from what I just read. If your gear is lacking I'd start there, but I can say for sure that the VG AC in shield spec with the lvl 40 pvp tanking gear is nothing to scoff at or ignore. Just to drive home my point, Champs are an easy solo with Elara and I've never come out of a warfront with less than 6 medals. The only thing I can think of that would hold you back would gear (like I mentioned), and resource management. Our mechanic is very very punishing if you get into the bottom 2 tiers of regen. With my current gear, shield chance is 34% and absorb is about the same. It's a pretty tough class from what I've experienced so far.

    Lol

The threads already floating around asking for class nerfs are hysterical, it's been 2 days for pre launch game play... I mean really? Lets all get to lvl 50 and then see what pvp holds in store. At ease the ************ and QQ until that point

    Roll Republic!

Honestly we should wait and see what happens instead of getting worked up, official launch is still about a week out.
  5. Keep in mind, the original Dev team that made Warhammer great (in its prime) were pulled into BioWare after EA bought the rights to Warhammer. Knowing that, I see some great potential for this game but it's still too early to tell, and with RvR or large scale PvP areas you really need a large player base to support it. In the end I'll be pleasantly surprised if things of that nature make it into the game.
  6. OP actually has the right idea, this is what made warhammer such a game, controlling zones could equal a city push, which is what made going into the RvR lakes worth the effort and time. Going into an open area just to kill anything that's red gets old, even with as much as I enjoy to grief the enemy players.
  7. Pretty much this ^^ we might see the factions balance out a little bit when the game officially launches, but I seriously doubt it.
  8. I'm surprised that this post was put up, I know I'm not the only one that knew this was going to happen. Out of the last 4 MMOs I played, 2 of which had actual factions sided as "good" or "bad" and it was the same in both cases. People's reasoning for making character in the "bad" faction kind of makes me laugh, at least the one I hear most commonly.
