  1. I really don't get these issues at all. the security key app worked was easy to set up for me.

I had the same issue as the OP when I got a new phone recently. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app on my phone worked for me. Guessing it bugged out because I originally copied the app from my old phone to my new one.

  2. This has been asked many times before, and a quick search here will lead you to further discussions. Here are the two most obvious reasons:

    • would require many more animations for all the abilities with the new weapons
    • removes some of the uniqueness of each class

  3. I've bought 6 month subs, and end up playing 2 months or less before work stops me.

Am I mad? Naw. I support a game I enjoy.

Plus, in cases like this, I'm subbed the entire time.

I get charged for the sub regardless. Even if I don't pay, I'm still subbed if I do decide to play. I'll never play preferred.

Basically what I do as well.

Haven't played consistently since just after SoR. Didn't even do full runs of either Op, after completing all previous Ops at all difficulties.

Started playing a bit here and there again during 12x XP, but KotFE and 4.0 changes have me excited to start playing again.

  4. I keep seeing all these people complaining about level sync, a system they have not yet even tried out for themselves yet, but I still haven't seen any REASONS why they don't like the change.

Until I read something different, my assumption is that they're mad they can't go gank lowbies anymore. (which, by the way, they'll still probably be able to do if they're 3-5 levels of stats above them anyway.)

  5. If you wait until level 50 before you start doing the missions, it can be very difficult to get the hang of. The best way would be to start a new character, and start them as soon as you get your ship. This way allows you to build up your comms as well, rather than trying to earn them all from level 50+ missions.

As someone else stated, the power converter is the main thing you have to get the hang of. Also, learn to destroy most things without missiles. Only use them when you have to. Should be plenty of missiles to get through most missions at each level.

  6. sorry you will not entice players to play a poorly design space Sim that doesn't even allow joystick controls. The X-wing vs tie fighter is a better Sim then BW's lame attempt and how old is that? Galaxies was a decent attempt too. Space as is now is a joke an extra stat to include on add flyer to garner subscriptions and what really bugs me is that it shares the dam PVP mission term.... give it its own mission term and stick it on an obscure deck for those 5 people that like it!

You realize he's not talking about GSF, but the original solo space missions accessed from the character's ship.

  7. What item were you hoping for from the Cartel pack that would help you "win" the game? I'm not super active in-game, as of late, but I wasn't aware they added a "win button" to the new packs.

Bottom line is, packs have always been, and will always be, a game of chance. If you search around online, I'm sure you could find people who have done the math and come up with approximate odds for items at different rarities.

  8. I don't understand why people always get so bent out of shape when a new feature is added that they personally don't like, or see a need for. Guess what... There are many other people playing this game, and a lot of them like the new feature that you dislike. Not every aspect of the game is going to appeal to each and every person. It's all about having the broadest appeal possible, to draw in as many people as possible.

I'm not sure if you've actually tried the feature out yourself yet, or of you're just talking based on images and other information. I have tried it out, briefly, on the PTS, and I could see where they could add multiple gear set slots on the character sheet. That very well could be a future addition to the feature. However, it was a higher priority for them to add the ability to change your look much easier, and keep from having extra gear taking up inventory slots all the time just for looks.

  9. Also, since nobody else hit on this yet, and you mentioned thinking it was going to be an ongoing story... It WAS part of an ongoing story, as it led directly into the TFB operation. This is why story-wise, it doesn't make sense for it to come back.

I agree with someone else suggestion for bringing back something inspired by it. Although, the constant search for random boxes got annoying after a while.
