  1. Warning: massive spoilers at the beginning of the video. Luckily I already beat it, but I have no idea why you'd do that.
  2. edit: saw title and thought we were talking about the stutter on spinning strike and maul. never mind.
  3. Don't worry, I'll be glad to not have to deal with posters like you who barely read then offer criticisms. The complaint is that Kinetic Ward objectively provides less mitigation when several enemies or enemies with rapid attacks are attacking you. This, without question, creates a drop in survivability against these sorts of enemies, and the reason this issue is included is because many shadows have brought this issue up. Those comments are enough to elevate the problem to a level of telling the devs, "Hey, you might want to look at this because it might not be working as intended." But sure, you can take that however you want. I can't stop you.
  4. They are, but most of them would take minimal design resources to fix. Certainly not as many as completely re-evaluating the talent trees.
  5. They obviously had the design team totally re-evaluate the talent trees. Key talents in all branches got changed in some way. These sorts of decisions take additional resources because they require design resources as well as programmer resources to implement the design decisions. More importantly, the resources spent in coding these changes really don't need to be used in this way at this moment. Err, they said themselves that bug fixes are a higher priority, but here they are doing mostly design work before addressing obvious bugs. I know enough about coding to know it's not easy to fix a bug in complex software. I'm not saying I could do it. However, I do expect professional software developers to be able to fix problems with their software in a reasonable amount of time and before they handle less pressing matters. That's not the case here. Also, the context of "simple bug fix" clearly doesn't mean that it's easy to do, but rather that the solution is limited to that of a bug fix/solving a coding error with absolutely no design work involved. This thread (or really anywhere on this forum) isn't the place for ad hominem arguments, so I suggest you take that tone elsewhere.
  6. I really should be more forthcoming. The main reason I cancelled is because I don't have time to juggle this game and school. That said, it's not that they're totally ignoring the issues, just that they've invested significant resources in overhauling our talent trees before addressing fundamental bugs and issues that make it impossible to determine whether the changes are necessary or effective. That's really frustrating to me. However, I can see your point about them addressing some of these issues. I wish I could agree, because that's a much better outlook. I really hope someone does take this over. Again, feel free to simply copy/paste the first post into another thread if you want. Just make sure the account handling it is active so that the list can be updated.
  7. The replies to this thread are awful. Read for more than 2 seconds. Force Lightning/TK Throw immobilize vs. weak and standard enemies, but they also 50% slow EVERYONE. FL doesn't put enemies into the same face-shielding animation that TK Throw does, but it still slows.
  8. Don't forget about crit. It's >9% on crits, which happen fairly often with Force Synergy. I think a lot of people forget that increases to base damage get multiplied throughout several points of a damage formula, so they're a bit better than a first glance would indicate.
  9. If you guys are still interested in raising Bioware's awareness of Shadow class issues, then someone else should take over this thread. My sub ends on the 20th, and I lack the interest in maintaining this thread. Feel free to copy/paste the whole thing.
  10. Nadia's facial markings spell "Gullible" across her forehead. Make sure she's not wearing a hood so you can see it. They're patching her to be a wookie to address this issue.
  11. That, on top of a damage debuff, a snare, and (soon) being the fastest and most force-efficient way to stack harnessed shadows. As others have repeated, as of 1.1 Wither was ahead of Death Field. As of 1.2, it's not even a contest.
  12. One last bump, but I get the feeling at this point that our efforts to bring bugs to light don't matter. Bioware is going to do their own thing, and we don't seem to have much say in it.
  13. My thoughts as well. Shadows have a ton of bugs with their core abilities, and yet Bioware's first priority is giving the talent trees a facelift. Not good.
