They REALLY listen to there community when it comes to legitimate complaints. They are quick to fix things in game, I think Zenimax has great customer service. That what I really like about it.
The Beta was very fun. I actually had an amazing experience the how helpful the community was; even with "simple" questions. I'm not a TES fan really, I have never finished any TES games. This might be the first one I see through.
I haven't pre-ordered yet, and I only want to do one sub at a time. I tried the two sub thing for awhile and I realized that it was just not efficient. So I might be officially unsubbing here in a few days.

3:00 Musical fountains/Ugly Sweater contest (sign-ups)
-Like Musical Chairs except fountains.
-Who has the most festive and most ugly outfit?
3:15 Secret Jawagram gifts/Pants-off, Dance-off
-Gifts given to mystery Guildies
-Dance Contest, who has the best moves!?
3:30 Raffles
Raffles sign-ups start at 2:00 and end at around this time. Think of it as a mini lotto
10k credits to enter
4:00 The End

Just because we're holding a Gala doesn't mean we can't get Life Day decorations on the fleet
I agree, Life day decorations would help bring out the festive spirit.
I was at the last one OP. It was great fun. I'm not into fashion but there were some very cool looking toons on that stage.I'm glad you had fun, and I'm glad we helped you enjoy the game a little bit more! If you can't have fun then what's the point?

Holiday Event, FIB Presents: The SWTOR GALA
To enjoy the holidays, Force in Balance will hold a Holiday event called The SWTOR Gala, loaded with awards and fun activities. Although this isn't an official advertisement of the event a date and time has been selected for: November 30th at 3:00pm! PST* We decided to extend the event and prizes to anyone who wants to enjoy it. It's just a way to bring the community together with nothing but positive intentions. The event is slotted for an hour, could be longer depending on circumstances.
We have held successful Fashion Show (2nd show pics) events in the past, and wanted to try something different. All are welcome. send me a message if you are interested or want or information.
Currently Planned Activities:
-Musical Chairs: except with fountains.
-Festive Outfit (Ugly sweater) contest: who has the most festive and most ugly outfit?
-Secret Jawa: Similar to secret Santa; anonymously give and receive a gift
-Dance Contest: Show of you emotes and companions
-Raffles sign-ups start at events beginning and prizes given at the end. Think of it as a mini lotto it eill be 10k credits to enter/per ticket

It's ability is 100% determined by plotinium.
It would have ruined the plot in Star Wars... so it didn't work.
It made the plot in the JK story... so it works.
I'd follow the same rules when you RP it out. If it helps the plot, and you are cool with it, go with it. Other wise your character resists, because anybody who claims to have the Emp's level of mind control abilities is clearly God Moding at over 9000! levels.
That said, in most RP situations mind controlling other players is generally a no-no unless you get their OK first. It's way too easy to abuse and really no different then doing something like "I cut off you hand with my light saber..." and getting annoyed if they don't just take it.

I saw a new player doing basically the same thing you saw. Instead of taking 5-10 mins whining to the world about it; I took 5-10 mins and showed him a rotation that could help him. He heeded my advice, was thankful and a better player in the end. Games draw in all kinds of people, this could be their first MMO (or even game), and learning it doesn't come magically. Not to mention you don't know their background, they could have disabilities that prevent them from being as good as a normal player.
It's sad that helping people is not even noted as an option these days, we all share a common interest that's for sure.
As for challenges I found part of the game to be challenging when I go off the beaten path, (e.g. Soloing Dreadseed Champs or 50 FPs before lvl 55 cap ect)

BW actually stated that they are interested in doing legacy datacrons, but they need to figure out how to implement it.
But yeah...for those who have "Datacron Master" titles, etc. must be lazy bums or something if they would like a legacy unlock for new alts..
Yea lazy... because time in SWTOR is the epitome of human productivity.

So I saw this pretty cool looking guild made event on the Harbinger and thought it was pretty original for SWTOR (EVENT Link) and it's open to the public Republic and Imperial. This is even more unique because both factions can come together for common enjoyment. Anyone seen or attended any cool events?
More importantly who is going to this? I'd make a new character just to check it out.

Ideal crit rating in UW is 399 I think. I know for sure that ideal crit in KD is 441. I find teel as though Deception is ideal for roughly 50% of the fights in the current NiM content and am 6/7 SnV NiM and 5/5 with title for TFB NiM on my shadow. The first guild to clear both TFB and SnV NiM on Jedi Covenant used a Shadow in their group so saying that deception is completely useless may be overstating just a bit.
Wildberry what are your stats for your Shadow. Based on your success, I can only assume you have a best idea of what to aim for.

^^^This is exactly the reason. Not to say getting HK-51 is hard is just I hate to have to wait till 50.
Rarely but from time to time you can get a non-cynical and helpful answer on these forums. You can get HK and transfer that character/legacy to your new server. It worked for a buddy of mine.

Has anyone with DPS Shadow mains attempted nightmare mode operations?
My Guild/Ops group wants me to bring my Infiltration Shadow in a NIM Op, and they think I can do it. If you can tell me your spec and the experience I would appreciate it.
I've had an Infiltration Shadow as my main since launch, so I know all short comings. I just want to hear from a DPS Shadow that has tried the NIM mode Ops. Another note, I have every advance class (faction specific), I just like working against the grain.

I find it strange that people have to explain and justify this stuff. Perhaps reading a book will be less stressful for you.
I don't like to be flagged EVERY where I go; but I do like to have options and a good fight every now and then. Ilum western shelf used to have one purpose, I'd say be glad it's a hybrid.
