  1. Bioware has no answer as they are not even sure themselves. It seemed for the longest time that a TIE went to first defenders. Then Bioware said it was who got the FIRST door fastest. Then they changed it in 1.2 to where the game ends as soon as the second attackers progressed further in less time wins (Team A defends on first doors successfully, then Team A capped first doors, ending game early) leading to the believe that in a round where both teams reach the datacore, the fastest team wins. This would seem logical, but this is a game where after MONTHS of closed and open beta, this game was released with more bugs than Skyrim. Take Huttball for example. Bioware "confirms" that a pass is caught by the player closest to the center of the pass circle, who is NOT stunned. I've seen passes caught by stunned players, I've seen passes caught by players on the outer edge of the ring with 2-3 others closer to the center. I've seen players catch a ball well outside of the pass ring while others were in it. I run with less than 70 latency, it doesn't make THAT big of a difference to see players that far out of position. Bioware has no idea how most of their mechanics work, yet they claim they do, then ninja patch it without telling anyone as they cannot own up to their mistakes. I STILL get stunned (not Sage/Sorc Resolve ignore CC) with full Resolve, I still get knocked back/pulled with full resolve. And DPS specs have more and better tank CDs than Vanguard/Powertech TANKS. This game had so much hope, but with issues like these, paired with a company that LOVES to lie to paying customers, it just can't be the next great MMO.
  2. I've heard tossing any ilevel Armoring into an Orange piece of gear will allow you to RE it. I have not tested this myself or gotten any form of confirmation.
  3. 1-2) The "armour" value is determined to the ilevel of the Armouring you are putting in the Orange gear (Heavy granting the highest coefficient and total value). The level of the piece of gear is irrelevant as it will change according to the ilevel of /Arm/Mod/Enh in it. 3) Placing the SAME armouring in a Medium or Light piece of armour will yield less Armour than if it were in a Heavy piece. 4) You can turn in the shell (no arm/mod/enh) piece of BM gear for the corresponding War Hero piece. The ranked version is an empty shell purely for looks and you will need to transfer the mods from the Unrated version over.
  4. Cap your WZ commendations so you can buy atleast a piece of the BM set when 1.2 hits. Buy a bunch of Champ pieces that have the Enhancement your spec prefers to replace the horrid BM Enhancements that are just dripping in Accuracy. Also, run WZs because you enjoy them? If you don't enjoy them, then I don't see any point in running them post 1.2 either.
  5. It is a current error/bug they are going to be fixing, at least according to a dev post.
  6. As of yet, I have not seen any way to transfer existing characters to another server. You are free to re-roll on another server of course.
  7. FPS has not been an issue for me. I'm running a great new set-up that works quite fine with this game. So no, increasing my FPS further isn't high on my list.
  8. If you would even bother to READ the updates the Devs post for you, you would understand that the Response Time saga is a very HIGH priority. It got another response, with 3 issues found, and all 3 issues are being worked on, two of which are going into the current test realms. Also, customizing UI is pretty high on many players lists. Not to mention we have no idea if these minor updates weren't planned for original launch but didn't make it in due to needing fine tuning. Quit thinking they are spending ALL their resources on these updates, different teams work on different stuff. I certainly wouldn't want 500 people working/breaking 1 aspect of the game when 20-30 could go a better job.
  9. Those who encounter full BM scoundrel/operatives aren't alive to tell us their tale. =(
  10. On a PvE server a non-flagged person shouldn't be able to damage a flagged person PURELY for this kind of griefing. They didn't want to be flagged for PvP, so it shouldn't automatically flag them because someone (intentionally) ran into their AoE (or any kind of damage for that matter). The person "wanting to get jumped" can still get jumped easily by players flagging themselves via interface, they shouldn't be able to force people to get flagged and then kill them. On a PvE server, PvP is supposed to be purely based on the choice of the player controlling the character, not by any other outside means. Entering an open PvP flagged area such as Ilum PvP side is a choice of the player, you can't argue that. Someone jumping into my AoE while flagged and FORCING me to get flagged isn't how it is supposed to work.
  11. Check "compare companion gear" in preferences. It'll still show your gear, but it till include your Companions.
