  1. Dear Bioware, I recently returned to your product after a near 2-year layoff. I canceled my sub when the original servers died out and the Great Merge went down, right around the time you switched over to F2P. Since coming back about a week ago I've found that this Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game is anything but Massive. My primary concern is that many of the functions which require other players are simply not working as they should. Queue times for group finder and pvp warzones are simply ridiculous. I enjoy pvp, as it's the only thing we can do that isn't completely coded into the game. In its current state, I find it hard to believe I'll remain here much longer. I was duped into resubbing for another month when I came back, but now I'm seeing the reasons why I left all over again. Could you PLEASE enable cross-server PvP so it can actually function? As it stands, queue times are simply too long 90% of the time and make me want to punch a hole in something out of frustration. Thank you. -Bile
  2. Generally speaking as you level up, rather than using your commendations on actual gear from the vendors, use them instead to purchase the modifications. Grab yourself some cheap orange (adaptive) gear from the AH, (as long as you don't care too much what you look like, you can get a full set VERY cheap) and simply upgrade the modifications inside that armor as you level up. If you select the planetary commendation as your reward for every single quest as you level up, you'll have more than enough commendations to keep your armor mods up to date every 3-5 levels. Do the same for your companion, though you don't need to upgrade his/her mods as often as your own.... especially since you're the damage dealer, you want your mods as current as possible... lightsaber mods should be upgraded every time it's possible. Do that and you should clear all content without any problem.
  3. Obviously this is playing out exactly as Bioware intended, but the point many are trying to make is this: Bioware's intentions are ****. Look around. Every server is dying. I will see 5-10 people on a planet at a time, at most. The game plays out like a single player game that many people happen to be playing at the same time. These legacy items are just another example of how Bioware fails to grasp the mindset of the playerbase at large. We want to be rewarded for our HOURS of play... and if they introduce items labeled "legacy", it is an obvious and common notion that these items will grow with our characters, and once they have outlived their usefulness on said character, they can be passed on to new characters. The idea of an item that levels with your character does not break the current rewards system, it usually means a character can effectively make it through the game with said item without worry of having to upgrade every five minutes of gaming in order to stay relavent. On WoW, the leader in MMO's for YEARS, these items were a step below blue level items of the same level, but since they leveled with the character, it was OK to be a step below items at that level, since you did not have to worry about ever replacing that item. Make these legacy items on par with Blues of your current level, but not as strong as the best rewards from flashpoints and heroic quests, but have them level up with the character. This would be a suitable reward for being A) loyal to a dying game, and B) devoting countless hours of our lives to this game. The expectations and subsequent hard feelings over these legacy items does not surprise me, nor should it surprise Bioware. These items are garbage. In a week when Diablo III is released, this game will come another step closer to the grave, sadly. This game could be so epic in the hands of the right designers.

    Huttball is crap

I personally agree with the OP in his opinion. I dislike Huttball. However, I understand the genius of their system in that it significantly reduces queues for warzones. My solution is relatively simple, and it was mentioned on the first page as a sort of joke by one of the posters. Add a capture the flag warzone with the same sort of premise... it's "teams", so you can still have empire vs empire, republic vs empire, or republic vs republic. You can then either keep the system as is and it randomly picks between huttball and the capture-the-flag warzone... or you can allow people to select either of the two as their "same side" option to help keep queues managable. I'm not qutting the game over Huttball, obviously. I simply prefer it the least of all of the warzones, and were I to pick my own, I would never pick that warzone, ever.
