The current epic quality augments was 20 plus millions for LONG time on GTN so why You think the new legendary ones that are roughly 6 times more mats and timewise for both the PVP and PVE part needed and takes about10x more time investment needed to farm the mats (than the old mats), wont be 400M to 500M at least each ??? since You dont pull numbers out your "rear end" as You so eloquently put it :-)
  2. Lets be VERY CLEAR, the intention from Bioware (and the reason i did this post) is EXACTLY to make people buy gigantic amount of Cartel Coins to feed EAs greed. That is the SOLE reason for the completely INSANE amount of mats needed and where to obtain them. they will easily be 550 to 700 plus millions each. I knew the first post would be AMGAAAAD i dont believe You :-) Just wait and see if current mat requirements go live. People that think they will be "just" 100 to 200M each are totally deceiving themselves. I dont think people have properly calculated the time needed for both raiding as well as ranked PVP for a lot of people just to craft ONE single of the new augments. For the sake of it lets say im wrong and cut it in HALF .... still its 420 EUROS per character... that is still completely insane.

So I see gigantic amount of players point out the idiocy of the mats needed and time to farm enough to equip 1 character with the needed 14 augments, and that for a Nightmare mode guild it would take around 43 weeks to deck out all the entire raid team with 14 augments each IF it crits EVERY time a crafter makes an augment (big if). I also seen people talk about the aspect of buying the mats or the augments from the GTN and how it will drive the credits to very few players in the game. I dont think however many have even looked at what these would go for on GTN. Since I craft and played since start i made some calculations based on all my experience with crafting and the GTN on what the credits and hence equivalent would be in real money (if You buy items from cartel market and sell on GTN and then use credits to buy the augments, are You sitting down ?! It is 14 x 60 euros = 840 Euros to buy 14 augments from GTN ! That is how UTTER ludacris and utterly insane the mat requirements and hence time investment is to make these augments. So MORE than an 800 Euro NVIDIA RTX 3080 GPU to deck out ONE character with augments that will be worthless come next expansion. Or You spent almost a FULL YEAR (43 to 50 weeks) with Your nightmare mode guild EVERY week raiding (that most likely falls apart before that) to get the augments and there might (who knows with Bioware) be another expansion at that time AND do and actually WIN a crazy amount of ranked PVP matches on top of it
  4. Glad to see a normal and intellectual response on these forums. The level of hostility and out right provoking replies from people (you would think these work for Bioware, but then realise they do of course not ) that completely ignore what was stated in the OP and on purpose answer to inflame and provoke is appalling. Regarding warning texts as someone mentioned, and let me be as childish and use all caps ;-) The only reason they put the warning text there is because they made yet ANOTHER big inept and incompetent coding bug that they cant even correct and are completely incompetent to fix. ANY other game such as SWTOR has the possibility to refund items within a time envelope and there is no exploiting happening because It is TRIVIAL to program this correctly. It's another reminder of the HUNDREDS of game breaking and incompetent programming in SWTOR. Just think about the Cartel slot machine fiasco! I was actually the one who started a thread about it almost 5 years ago , and one of the first to find out they had completely screwed up the algorithms behind the Contraband slot machines, the handling of the devs was in this case also abysmal. In the end this is what I get. I discovered that Contravand Slot machine problem back then because I spent around 500 euro on cartel coins every pack back then and so was one of the first to have the slot machines. So for supporting and subsidising this game because I love Star Wars I get provacateurs replying to my thread and ramble about exploit when its about politics of GM and refund via support ticket and then choosing again to ignore the replies and read them and provoke even more. In the end these people are showing what kind of persons they are. The worst thing is these provoking fanbois can call other people derogative words and will not get warning by forum admin, but if I reply in SAME tone as they use I will get forum warning because I point out the ineptitude of the game developers, and so there are different rules applying, and these provacateurs know they can get away with this appalling behaviour.
  5. 1) That is ZERO excuse, All other games and MMOs this is possible with hours of refund window without there being any exploit etc. Its just Bioware programmers again covering one f-.-up bug with another layer of paint that f--up the spaghetti code even more. 2) And it is certainly not an excuse that they then don't want to refund the tech fragments via a ticket to a GM ! that is just inexcusable.
  6. SO why the F/(%(/ (very angry right now) cant I refund an Armor Set item I bought for 3000 tech fragments and 1 mill creds ?????? I clicked twice by mistake (yes it happens) and when I try to return one armor set piece I get like 5000 creds back but not any tech fragments ! And don't tell me its because people exploited the amps re sell thing, cause any other MMO You can refund items like that (armor set etc) within a time envelope of 1 or several hours. It was exploited because of the incompetent spaghetti coding in the first place. If other games can do this without it being abused then so can the Bioware "programmers" Made a ticket but Why do I have the feeling I will get an automaton stupid reply saying Sorry bla bla we cant be bothered to help a customer reply _:-( Why is such a basic functionality not available in SWTOR And no its not VERY fast to get 3000 more tech frags, I have 8 other sets to buy for my characters plus tacticals (that NEVER drop from any crates out of many hundred opened so far )
  7. So, with Thermal Nuclear Fusion, Fusion missle is supposed to spread heat signature like Tracer missle. However, I have the tactical, and it is NOT spreading Heat Signature. Has anyone ever seen it work ? (it was bugged on to the end of PTS and not fixed there either) Just wondering since the guides recommend it yet its clearly not working, and its easy to test /see
  8. As mentioned there is diminishing returns after a certain point and has always been. That is why Mastery and Power should scale as well so You can get Your toons more powerful by different stats not just CRIT because of the incompetent devs !
  9. This is exactly been my point! As i already mentioned not only does it not make sense to gear at all if you don't do the new Ops or fp and so there is zero incentive to improve your characters, also not scaling content to level 75 is THE biggest mistake by Bioware in SWTORs history if not admitting finally defeat by the devs that they cant even scale the content for new level cap anymore, in which case that is giving up on further development of the game. And as You mentioned this totally idiotic "scaling" failure has spillover effect into other areas such as power and mastery being totally and completely worthless in PVP, further we always had a PVP guide for new expansion about bolster in PVP after max 2 weeks after a new expansion came out. As the game is now TOTALLY broken regarding bolster and scaling (yes obviously the broken scaling also affects bolster) nobody has been able to do this kind of new bolster guide. Further the few PVP players that figured out some of this keep it for themselves, as they think it should be a "trade secret" All the whiteknight fanbois can defend Bioware all they want and stamp their feet. There has been countless major bugs through this games troubled 8 years lifespan, but giving up on scaling content to current level cap and making it relevant and so also making gearing irellevant relevant, is a very big deal, it's the biggest threat to this games future survival to date.

Cant mathematically prove your point so we turn to ad hominem and character assault and walk away stamping Your feet like a child in kindergarten..... very similar to the response my guildmate got when he asked about the scaling in 6.0 in the PVP forum. No wonder people are leaving this game or players that play actual quallity MMOs with competent programmers and a clean code ridicule SWTOR and part of its community.
  12. Where is the second parsely log ? So you used a recorded macro sequence for both times you did the boss to make sure you got the same predisposition the same both times and so the two can actually be compared ? Or it was again just done in slump per "feeling " and comparing two different predisposition and data baselines.
  13. Did test Starparse with old level 70 gear and new level 75 , 306 gear in new augments, and with and without stimson and adrenals. There is no difference at all between the new and old gear in all the content that stayed at level 70 (more than 95b% of all the content) which is what this thread was about from the title and first post.

You just repeated your previous answer and it still does not adress any of the question of reported numbers in tooltips and charactersheet versus actual measured and thoroughly tested and vetted numbers of actual combat on mobs and players. The only thing that closed here is your mind. Duffy is not around anymore, and neither Vullk or Mmobits or any other SWTOR site has done or even reprinted any such actual test by themselves or any of the reputable streamers or veteran players at this point. But let's grab a screenshot showing character stats .that have been wrong and showing wrong values including in tooltipsmany times in the games history, and use that as final proof ! Simply "brilliant" and very scientific testing.
  15. And because the numbers say something that means your character ACTUALLY improves by that much (or little) ? Because it's not like there has never been abysmal bugs and wrong combat modifiers in this games history right ? Why is there no DPS meter like ANY other gear based game ??? Why has nobody analyzed combat logs in 6.0 to see if the total numbers add up to the numbers reported and the actual damage done to a player or mob before they got to zero HP (as a baseline for meassurement) ? Sorry but at this point these are very valid questions that deserve to get actual measured and proven or disproved. I think a this point nobody has actually done any such testing, and all just quote or repeat something they heard from someone else who also did not do any actual tasting since 6.0, but based on "feelings" and perception or by what their tooltips say (that have been known to be wrong for many classes and abilities throughout this games history)

Thursday when someone in my guild asked about what actually scales and not in PVP with 6.0 they got that same kind of snarky, no actual answer, besserwisser, yet zero actual proof In any shape or form. This speaks volumes about the situation of this "scaling" and the white knights out of any answers of substance and actual mathematical calculations of DPS and new scaling. It really starts to look that nobody did exactly that, accurate testing with irrefutable results, as it was done in 5.0 and 4.0 etc. Just feelings what they perceive about their DPS, and then getting aggressive when people ask what data their claims about new gear and scaling and if it actual improves their character at all in resllity, is built on.

  18. Leaving the game scaling to the level of a PREVIOUS expansions is STUPID beyond belief .... It's like telling everyone they can only drive 10 km an hour in their new cars because we once had horse carriages and the government are to inept or cant be bothered to fix the many holes and bumps in the roads. Leaving scaling at level 70 was a momentous disastrous decision or even worse because there are no talented programmers left on the SWTOR dev team that knows what's up and down in the spaghetti code they gave up on fixing this and so when (if ever) we get to level 80 one day the game is still at level 70...anyone thinking this is even remotely ok should really take a hard look in the mirror. But hey ! The SWTOR team still has an army of white knight fanbois in here defending this disastrous level scaling so all will be great, don't worry .! ;-)
  19. And these "tertiary" stats was proven scaling the way you say and the difference from level 70 gear was tested, measured and documented with exactly which "addon" or DPS "meter" for SWTOR ? Please please remind me :-)

Yes is how it is, but the "pro" PVP players keep it to them selves and don't answer any posts on PVP forum about this, or reply just some childish "getguuuuud" so they can win their fantastic end of season "rewards" ...anyway it's also a train wreck in PVE the game has stopped evolving for your characters since level 70, that people call this old news and simply accepted it is speaking volumes about the playerbase that is left.
  21. Which is EXACTLY what I have been asking for this entire thread ! Actually scientific and proper testing with proof in form of hard evidence in a detailed post or a YouTube video where it is proven that the new gear matters and is not neutered by the new level scaling "tech" and not just "feelings" by some "pro" SWTOR PVP player without any mathematical testing and numbers to back up these "feelings" about PVP in 6.0 You are more than welcome to post those proofs and links to this rigious testing that You say some PVP has done, in fact as mentioned I asked for EXACTLY that this entire thread, but I guess that is too much attention span for most people to do before passive aggressively post a reply here ;-)
  22. That is exactly the point! As I mention the scaling WOW and many other games is implemented in a PROPER way as You just described. The new "scalin" in SWTOR is a disaster and even more spaghetti code.
  23. Plenty of things to do ? You mean as in repetitive farming of old content where you are as good or sometimes even better in old level 70 gear than in the new level 75 gear. Or you mean "other things to do" as in playing pretty Dress up Space Barbie ? The whole raison d'être for playing an MMO is to improve your characters power level either by leveling or gear level and additional skills at max level. With the total disaster (and hence indirect admittance by the developers the game is not being developed anymore and they cant even scale content to new max level as previously was the case) of the current "level scaling tech" the whole reason for the games progress of your characters was made void and null. As the original post stated this is disastrous news for this games future - much more so than any of the historically moronic choices the dev team did. Am not sure most players understand that this one thing - the failing to scale content to new max level (because devs either cant or there is no resources at all anymore for SWTOR) is a very bad, IN FACT THE MOST DISATROUS THING in this games LIFETIME. It is very worrisome and sad that many players have not realised the implications of this yet, when they do, (eventually they all will) it will be public revolt in this game ! Short version: The very core essence and raison d'être for an MMO and this very game was betrayed and given up on in 6.0. - This is a disaster for this games future -
  24. Another half misunderstood perception of reality. Yes tactical does affect your powers and abilities and DPS output (if it is not bugged like some tacticals are) However the bit about green gear is not. As is evident by this thread and any scientific testing or proof of needing ilevel 306 legendary gear over green gear when the new communistic "scaling tech" is taken into account. This applies both to PVE as well as PVP scenarios.
