Speaking for <Facepalm>, yeah that's generally our start time for weeknights, atm we have mon/wed/thurs set aside purely for ranked, but if we have 8 online at anytime then there's a good chance we will be able to chuck a team together, we actually ran with 3 sins on Monday night as we didn't have near the makeup we needed, but it was a heap of fun and ended up 2 and 2 for the night, the team we were facing also had a bit of a thrown together aspect for all kinds of classes/specs too. Mon/wed/thurs we will generally have 7 out of our "core" 8 on so will be most competitive on these nights fyi. Also smij is who you want to talk to for organizing <Boss>, also Jooling is organizing their team aswell (I think). I would be super happy to see the other guilds getting in on advertising when you can que as this will mean we all can work towards getting games in at the same time, and vary competition. Bobcowz was organizing a team on Monday night but we never ended up facing them so I'm not sure if they stuck around long enough.   4. Yeah for the apac guilds its gonna be hard to crack into this list.. On another note Myself and a few others have recently broken away from <Boss> and formed a new guild <Facepalm> and will start queing on Monday night (Aus primetime). Also Eliteduelist when I was queing with Boss I'm pretty sure our win/loss was positive against you guys, however I'm pretty sure the boys have qued without me and probably lost a few so I'll let that all come out in the wash . Looks like Boss will continue to do ranked so we will simply be another team in the que!
  5. Pre 2.0 I had a build that included unstoppable, in soresu form, with full dps gear. Grabbing the burst from rage, I gave up force crush for this out of the rage tree. It was an absolute beast at defeating any class 1v1, all u needed to do to trigger your "unstoppable" rotation was a leap or a push, or get 2 easy fast bursty rotations if you get the leap/rotation/push/leap/rotation. Killing healers was easy, killing anyone was pretty easy admittedly, and since choke built shockwaves....... But alas, 2.0 completely raped my spec. Um, jugs get a lot more than 1 interrupt, push and leap are both interrupts, tanks get the refresh after leap too. Never forget to use your abilities when your harassing healers (or cast dps) in this way, it's pretty dam effective at keeping healers out of the action. And yes it is possible to kill a healer 1v1 as a jug, even in full tank. Use the "Force" push into the fire and mezz, healer down.

Thanks for the replies guys, yeah Bobcow I can't stress enough how much transferring to this server has meant to me personally, it was basically the last chance for me b4 choosing to unsub for the first time since beta, and tbh it is great to play against imho (from the whole time I've played swtor) a player that I would put in a standalone bracket (along with pixelshader,primate, shik and b-ry) from the highest caliber of players I have played with/against so far. I will work on moving the weekend times around, but currently we are just running whoever we have on at the time in weekends atm anyways, I havn't been able to play myself for the past 3 weekends. Yeah I'm in the rwz channel on the fleet (our guild is imp), It hasn't actually even resorted to posting in there yet as we always seem to have competition, and once we have our core 2 group it will mean we have 2 teams queing which I honestly expect to be competitive within a couple of weeks of playing together against the other rwz teams aswell as our main core group. It is always worth searching "Boss" in general incase there are any officers around to organize a team, we are aiming to have all members rwz ready by about the end of this month.
  7. Hi guys. I'm here representing the guild Boss who recently transferred here from both the APAC server Master Dar'Nala and also The Harbinger. I just wanted to show our appreciation from these guilds in particular who we have been having some great Rated games against over the past few weeks. Having played since beta I myself have seen a lot of people/guilds come and go, but I have found a home with Boss and greatly enjoy playing with the guys and girls we have now. The APAC server we xferred from was basically dead/dying since about 1.2, and I have to tell you that The Bastion really has got us all back into the game, and probably stopped a ton of us from unsubbing. It really is great to be able to que rateds and not know who we will be facing each time. We have learned sooooooo much since coming here and taking part in Rateds, we have learnt the most from Synergy by far, and although we have been curb stomped a few times... cough cough... hutball laggggggggggg, we have really enjoyed the experience as a whole in the short period we have been here. We still have a ways to go but now we are atleast competitive, getting consistent wins(aswell as consistent losses). We are only one player off having our core squad finished to the point we are comfortable with. We are also building a second team which should be ready in about a week or so. We have had some extremely close games aswell as heavy sided games each way. I realize there's other teams out there but since we are all from Australia and New Zealand, the weekends will generally be the only times we can get on for U.S primetime, unfortunately since a lot of us have kids etc, we havn't been able to get the majority of our core team on during our daytime/your primetime. Just wanted to post in here the times that our main team is queing incase any other guilds want to give us a game or two. Monday/Wednesday/Thursday nights 8pm to about 1030pm+ AEST. Saturday/Sundays 12pm to about 5pm AEST. Unfortunately our Saturday is your Friday, but if anyone wanted to arrange a few matches that are outside these times then I would be happy to put in as much effort as possible to make it happen, however it will be hard(but not impossible). Sorry for the wall of text just wanted to pay my respects basically, it really is a level above what we experienced on our previous servers, which is what we wanted, and what we appreciate. Renewed the faith once more. P.S anyone interested (as I seem to be getting a buttload of whispers atm) in joining up with our guild, we are not recruiting at all at this time. Thanks for your time guys.
  8. You should always be typing in chat if your cc breaker is up and you are node guarding, as you shouldn't be node guarding. This is pretty basic stuff imo.
  9. Not at all, in regular warzones your much more likely to get through the first door, and if an inexperienced player is guarding the door then you have a shot at capping. Most (if not all) rated teams will play voidstar primarily to win on having more kills(less deaths) than the other team. This usually happens in regs only when one team is heavily stacked with the right composition and/or experienced players/premades. If you find you are dying a lot on offence and getting nowhere then the only chance for you to win is by capping a door, then by all means go for it, hopefully someone on your team is smart enough to be able to stop people coming to reinforce the door your going for rather than continuously throwing themslevs at a brick wall. If your have a decent enough team they will realize they will need to cap to win, and they should all break off while slowing/cc'ing towards the other door. Do what it takes to win. Sometimes the other 7 players on your team won't understand the mechanics enough to realize this is the only way.
  10. Sorry guys but are you all kidding or what? Is this just some massive troll post? Civ War - if u don't send anyone to the opposing teams node right from the get go you are handicapping your team due to just handing the other team first tick advantage (easiest way to get there and interrupt cap without being cc'd on the way? send a stealth class). Hypergates - "Orbs win games" ?? Holding the other team from capping one round will win the game if your teams not retarded, holding them from ever capping a node (which is not that hard to do with a little more coordination, as most teams will send 1-2 their side and rest mid, easy to hold off and reinforce). Hutball - Yes stealth there endzone and get there as fast as possible ONCE YOUR TEAM HAS THE BALL, that way u can be interceded to, or wait for the pass. NC - You can get to their node before they have finished capping unless they have sent 2 to cap, if they have u can simply turn around and head mid, or sap one first so they think your still there then head mid. I seriously think you have missed the point here. It's more of a case of "Bad players don't try and lose the game for your team by being bad". I consistenly see players lose games for their teams by not watching chat, doing ridiculously low dps/hps/protection. To single the terribad stealthers out is kinda simplifying one aspect of it imo. Great players can cc cap with 2 ppl there. Stay 30m away from the node?? Ever heard of phase walk... Man I love it when people do that. NC tip, sin pull plus knockback off the cliif, cap and stealth, if theres 2 there, burst one down, stealth, sap, healthpack... I swear it's like people can't see 5 inches in front of their faces sometimes. Bad players are bad players, no matter what class they roll. End rant.
  11. Boss will start queing during Aussie primetime and during the weekends, will take us awhile to build a consistent core team, but you can expect to see us in there as often as we can be.
  12. All pvp guilds, including the good ones from harb, will be xferring there after paid xfers man im just saving having to pay for it later, my mara will go to harb alone so I can play with yous all till paid xfers
  13. Consolidated Post: APAC/Oceanic Server Concerns | 05.31.2013, 12:09 PM Hey everyone, I know you have been waiting a bit for an update and I wanted to pop in and do exactly that. Starting on Tuesday, June 4th, you will all be allowed a free one time transfer for each character you have on an APAC server. In the last update I gave I told all of you that we were expanding where your one-time transfer could go to include all NA-West servers. After seeing quite a few requests to expand it further, we are going to allow you a one-time transfer to any SWTOR server. To reiterate, starting on Tuesday, June 4th, you will be allowed a one-time transfer for each character you have on an APAC server to any other non-APAC server. Thanks! -eric There it is guys,a confirmed date, thanks to all for the good times on MDN, having played since pre launch it was a great community to be apart of, can't wait to log anytime of the day and be able to do WZ's. Hope to see familiar faces on The Bastion, good luck to all on whichever servers you all end up on.

WHAT ARE U WAITING FOR THIS IS REDICULOUS. Apac is generally pissed at what you decided to do with our servers but now with no e.t.a people are getting suicidal on the fleet. I see atleast 10-20 people jump over the barriers due to sheer boredom everyday now, it's a growing pandemic. We're lucky to get 50 people on the imp fleet at any one time. Transfer us now before it's too late, or atleast give us an e.t.a Having 7 50-55s on apac means im not exactly keen on rerolling, like others. Please don't let this end of like rwz and the mass delays we had there.

  17. What I said to the organiers (not by abuse but by chatting lolz), was that it should be an auto restart in any match unless the advantage is already taken in game. (A score (Pref 2) ahead in hutball, door capped in voidstar, 2 cap on NC/CW. I see this as the fairest as its not player controlled whether you DC or not. As we had last week 3 DC's (All by different players) if we had only one restart rule we may have lost the round due to bad luck. There's alot on the line here and it would be sad to see any team be eliminated this way. As for trolling me personally Term think you need to get a girlfiend/boyfriend or something man, or just smoke some **** and calm the **** down. The trolling dosn't even make sense half the time.... You critisize us for vs'ing "pugs" and winning??? You do realise we were in the exact same situaton as Strike Team were tonight when we played Core 1... As 5 out of our core 8 were away. Tbh tonight was the closest we have had to our core team on (6 of us from the core team). I really cbf with you most of the time as you're obviously just mad at the world for some reason, and incase you hadn't noticed I dont play much at all anymore (mainly just comp nights). And as for the rest of you guys (e.g Cattaa) joining in, if you guys address any issues constructively your generally gonna get better results than if you just constantly throw your toys out of the pram and cry "WTFLOL lifes not fair to us we need to RAGERAWR anywhere we can type". The way Bobcow etc have brought to the attention of the organisers better ways to improve the comp for next time is the way to go. Kinda obvious IMO. Now on a lighter note: Wookie Leaks I also thought Boss to be eliminated before reading the posts on the forums, ask anyone in our guild. If I hadn't looked myself or had people actively engaged in this thread then we may not have shown up either, as I have cutdown about 90% of my Swtor time recently, so I can understand how this could happen. And to the organisers: Pretty damm stoked you guys have done this, the format IMO is fine as it's the first real comp just to get a feel of how the community want it run, I didnt see any sugestions from any1 on how exactly it should be run until the draw suddenly shifts out of they're advantage. -Haters gonna hate. Pandemic you guys really should show some grattitude rather than crying like little kids who dropped they're wowwipop. Without this comp I bet alot of people that are still here after well over a year simply wouldn't be, as the game has gotten pretty linear nowadays.   18. Thanks guys, cheers for putting up another BOSS loss for game of the week... lol. Wanna put a shout out to all our subs last night that stepped up, we had 5 of our core squad away (Hit, Grizzy, Smij, Reiven, Starzkill) and the boys did a massive job stepping up to the plate in a scenario where it was must win for us to make it to round two. For any haters it's me who decides on the makeup of the teams and I take full responsibility for it, hutball could have easily gone the other way for those that think 3 healers isnt viable, well just look at that game... (we also had 3 tanks - lmao). We knew without our core squad we would have to try something different, the FML at the start was due to me not wanting hutball with that makeup as it was gonna be insanely hard to drop ball carriers, but we did ok with pulls to make up for dps. The first game we had the makeup was terrible, you cant choose your maps tho, and as I said we had to think outside the box, if we had managed to push it to a third game you would have seen a different team again, one which we shall unveil next thursday and we were all excited to try, perhaps we should have run the next makeup in game one (yay for hindsight). I was aware we were coming in underdogs in this round which is why we went with the players we did (out of those available to us at the time anyway). Thanks to Core, Moist, and thanks to scorpio and co for the great event, hopefully next time we manage to make it past the first round, we will be watching the rest of the tourney, and I hope to see Tinkle and co take it out
  19. <Boss> Description: PVP Focused guild aiming doing rwz's as often as possible, we run in guild events a couple times a week including WZ drinking games of Friday night's. Considering getting into Pve aswell due to massive downtime in between WZ pops. Still rebuilding core rwz team as we have about 20 or so members that only play on Harbinger now.   21. WH-EWH isnt much of a difference, if the games were extremely close then that may be the case... I sugest you work on your strats and getting the right (combo) of players, last night you used 3 healers all night and it showed in the DPS numbers at the end of the games, it wasnt hard to take them down at all, as usually people focus on healers first it just meant we went for a 3rd b4 focusing dps, and you didn't have enough dps to burst us down at the same time. We noticed when you grabbed Community and Boo you tried the respect in Voidstar and had 4 healers on defense, however your sacrificing way too much dps for that, it all starts with the tank/heal combo, I sugest that whoever your core tanks and healers are shd always be grping together in normal WZ's to get used to working together, seriously EHW gear wont help as much as teamwork and strats. You shoudn't have to run 3-4 healers as your tanks should be mitigating half of the damage your heals are taking. If you keep que dodging however your gonna get a really bad name for your guild, and people will start knocking you guys in general chat and posting here, I'm willing to help you guys but you've gotta help yourselves at the same time.
