  1. On my trooper yesterday I knocked someone towards me with Concussion Round, so there's that.
  2. The actor that played Darth Vader died after playing a Warzone. The disappointment was simply too much.
  3. World of Warcraft sucks. World of Warcraft is ten times the game SW:TOR will ever be, even though it was made almost a decade before SW:TOR. World of Warcraft did not have one single issue of this magnitude on release. Yes, it was laggy. Yes, there were huge bugs. The servers crashed all the time. The game was still great, however.. you know, which is why it is at an all-time-low at ten million subscribers, while this game is at an all-time-high at one million. Enjoy your 300 million dollars worth of sound that you've probably already listened to. This game is dead in the water and if you honestly can't see that after playing the combat, you're a broken person. World of Warcraft was 263 million total in development at the launch of The Burning Crusade. SW:TOR already wasted 300 million and they can't even afford 15 guys to code an engine over the course of the 5 years they wasted. Have fun playing the new Sims Online. ehjehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe
  4. WoW NEVER had these issues. I played it in beta, I played it at release. It never, ever, ONCE had issues like this. It had issues, sure. The release was actually pretty terrible. Go watch World of Roguecraft and tell me someone could make a video like that in this game.
  5. http://www.1up.com/news/ea-louse-blows-lid-old-republic-budget-warhammer-failure couldn't have said it better myself. By the way, no matter how many warnings I get I still think people who don't perceive this problem as terribly as it should be perceived are dumb, slow people. Enjoy that lot in life.
  6. Why not just get a sick Yoda poster and look at that for a few hours a day? It is probably about the same in terms of responsiveness.
  7. Did the guy miss that I played RTS and FPS at tournaments? I am not saying that I don't like the style of combat in this game, I'm saying it isn't consistent or reliable. YouTube: professional WC3 replays. YouTube: Professional CS:S tournament footage. Watch any super popular WoW PvP video. You'll notice a trend, you know, the fact that all of those games have reliable, responsive ways to interact with the players around you. There is no way to know that my character is going to dodge three times in a row and I won't be able to cast until that is complete. There is no way to know that even though my exact keystrokes were: Tab, 4 I will still leap to the target I had before I pressed tab. What about that takes getting used to, unless you're just getting used to it being broken? -- I keep having these conversations with people and they all keep saying, "well go play WoW then." I am going to go play WoW again. In fact, I am going to go play WoW again with 10 million of my friends. The only reason I can even interact with you is the month I got for buying the game. Why not spend that time helping other people not make the mistake I made in investing time in this terribly coded single-player fiasco? Keep bringing up the 1 to 1.5 million subscribers this game has. Keep putting this game right there in the same category as Rift, Aion and EVE online, you know.. where it belongs. You really don't recognize the PvP/combat system in this game as being absolutely terrible. It isn't even like we're being too harsh. The combat in this game is just terribly coded. The game has major balance issues otherwise but there aren't a whole lot of extended threads about how certain things are too powerful because people like the ones propagating this thread are smart enough to know a game will have problems like that on release. It is upsetting that the game was sold to me in this condition. It just doesn't work. Your character doesn't do what you tell it to do which I feel like is an implied feature.
  8. what gets me is all these idiots that are like, "LOOK AT MY CREDENTIALS, I DON'T NOTICE A DELAY AT ALL!" yeah, you do notice a delay. maybe not when you're questing all by yourself fighting a scripted monster that does the same thing 100% of the time. do something that is intensive and demanding on the game's engine and report back to me there's normal stuff i was prepared to deal with playing a new mmo there's abnormal stuff that i will not deal with and there's a customer service rep that said, "WEL MAYBE U WER DOIN 2 MANY LIGHT SABER MOVES, TRY NOT 2 DO SO MANY LIGHTSABER MOVES" all of you pretending this problem doesn't exist are the stupidest people in the entire world
  9. wow this guy has 100 days played on a rogue including arena experience and doesnt notice it thread is over guys
  10. I love how the customer service rep has the balls to say, "as opposed to other games." It's like they're still on their EPIC COMBAT EXPERIENCE THAT WILL TAKE SUBSCRIBERS AWAY FROM WOW bit. It's funny because EA's office in LA looks like a trailer park compared to Blizzard's campus. Why do you think that is? I like to think it's because Blizzard isn't a bunch of idiots. Keep on pretending your game has some features WoW doesn't have. You only had like, an 8 year advantage on making a game that is more advanced. You could have released this game in 2001 and I still wouldn't be playing it.
  11. queue for a warzone strafe target an enemy keep strafing use all your instant casts in rapid succession -- it is insulting to think we don't know the difference between latency, fps lag and ****** coding.
  12. one of you geniuses want to explain how spamming your abilities is a bad thing?
  13. guys i just played my first warzone since my teens i click all my moves and let me be the first to tell bioware that there is no delay this game is rly awesome i especially like the 1 quest were i helped the kids get credits and water for 100 light side pts the game is flawless and perfect no delay all the people here saying there is a delay are lying
