  1. Do you have a router or a Cable/DSL modem with a built in router? You may have to forward ports there as well. Also, it is not uncommon for firewalls to still block access even when disabled or supposedly 'shutdown'. My suggestion would be to first check on the router and once that has been eliminated as a possible suspect, temporarily uninstall your software firewall, as a troubleshooting step. If you have a cable/dsl modem with a built in router, provided by your ISP, they might also be a resource to turn too for assistance with that particular device.
  2. I agree, OP, the grahics seem like they are from 2005.
  3. The only thing I can think of, was perhaps it was due to the 'quest' / mission completion window being open, which waits for you to select accept. I wasnt trying to complain, I just thought others might chime in if they had a similar incident.
  4. I was in the Republic Fleet standing in front of the crew skill trainers. Sorry I was meaning I started a crew mission and then left for work...
  5. Doesnt appear to be working. I started a mission and went to work, expecting to be kicked after being afk 10 minutes or whatever, come back 9 hours later and I'm still logged in. I'd search the forums to see if this is intentional, but theres no search feature.
  6. My girl char has a mini-rack, dont know what yall are talking about.
  7. They disable the search feature when the forums are under heavy traffic. Maybe itll be back months down the road. Not sure on the mouse.
  8. I was told it was nerfed, but still a cash cow.
  9. Youll get instructions after you talk to the Jedi Council
  10. Your arguments of picking another server is a viable option, sure it is, but thats not an excuse for poor quality of service. If you had to wait 60 minutes at a restaurant to place your order, you'd expect some sort of compensation for your time.... even if theres a 100 other places to eat at. Likewise in this scenario, even if he could go to another server, its not an excuse degradation in service quality. You want him to pick up and move to another server. What if he had spent half a day on his existing one. I'm all for this game, I do like it quite a bit and even though I dont expect any sort of compensation and complete understand the issue at hand, the OP request is nowhere near unreasonable.
  11. You would expect compensation for any other service you pay for, this isnt any different. If your ISP is experiencing packet loss because a link on their backbone is saturated... they are compensating people who complain about it. While I dont expect it, the OP request is not unreasonable.
  12. I normally play FPS, but now I finally had a reason to use my Naga. While I think most of Razors products are utter crap, the Naga works well for SWTOR. For a keyboard, I'm still using my trusting Microsoft Sidewinder X6
  13. Very interesting thread, thank you.
  14. I had to disable my windows firewall, even though I had SWTOR added as an exception, before I could see the server list.
  15. Are there no clear numbers yet for server population?
  16. Not a complaint. I like games that have a large number of players on the servers. Keeps it interesting and diverse. Compared to games like DAOC, WOW or UO when they came out, does anyone know how SWTOR server populations compare? Similar or less/more? I can see the current number of real people in an area on the top right of my UI, but its never been over a 100, so I'm curious if there is a way to view the total amount...
