  2. yah! we should totally get to live in a society where the consumer has no say, and we get paid regardless of how poor our performance is. move to communist china you red coat.

    Roots and Resolve

heres a concept: use diminishing returns instead of this garbage resolve.
  4. so we can see how royally you screwed everything this time.
  5. if i order food and it isnt quite tasting the way i like... well i already ordered that food and paid for it. so if the server isnt going to fix it, there is no sense in being hungry. may as well eat what im stuck with since i paid good money for it. make sense?
  6. agree. all this talk of "oh its getting fixed next patch" guess what? some of us are tired of waiting for this illusive "next patch" that will apparently fix everything. newsflash BW and fellow gamers. WE, yes WE are the developers boss. WE pay their check. No subscriptions, no job. I only paid for 3 months of this trash. so, if there are not some huge improvements made, peace out.
  7. thank you. when i die to another player in any other MMO, first thing I do is check my combat log. why? because i want to learn how to avoid that death next time. now... 99 times out of 100 i already know what they did to kill me. but visually seeing the exact numbers makes a huuuuge difference as compared to just seeing the ability occur and recognizing that it hurt you.
  8. of course there is a working combat log in place. how else would you take / give damage or healing ? the problem with swtor is that the developers do not want to make it visible for the end user (all of us). a visible combat log is LOOOOONGGGGG overdue. this is something that should have been evident during beta, and implimented when the game went live. get off your high horse BW and realize that every decent MMO allows the player to see exact what he is and is not capable of, thus making it possible for said player to improve to his/her maximum potential.
  9. Thank you. this is a MUCH better post than the "please dont get mad at each other" post we had to read earlier.
  10. I am insulted by your lack of concern towards a broken game. Furthermore, your development crew has trolled us, by not even responding to our cries for a fix! We dont want to fight over it... just flag you all down and get some info about when we can expect a hotfix. Notice how we feel like you all are ignoring us? see what i did there. Now go fix it.
  11. k i am missing something here. I have tried your annihilation spec and while i understand the casting priorities (~rotation) I am simply not seeing the damage throughput to finish a decently geared target off. sure you can get a 3 stack of your bleeds going, and they are all crit dots... but you have to go thru an entire 5 move rotation and spend all of your rage to do that. at which point you do what ? cus i can promise you that said rotation will NOT kill any half decent player or even get them below ~30%. now you are left with no decent moves up, and no rage to spend on them anyways. so by the time you build your rage back up to go back thru your rotation, either they have out damaged you... or they HAVE healed thru it. believe it or not healers can hot themselves, and even with improved interrupt, they will still get a couple heals in. basicly... this annihilation spec doesnt finish the job. gets you a high amount of dmg i na warzone, sure... but the kill almost never happens against a moderate player
  12. see that bioware ? every other class has decent set bonuses. we CLEARLY got jipped. fix it
  13. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#100bIMRrMdZZGr0ddr.1 basically makes total use of predation. tried it out all day today. dont be crazy and try and kill everything. get your hits in where they count, and stay alive to give your team a never ending 80% movement bonus. this is beyond broken.
  14. so we are supposed to role a whole tree to become invulnerable for 4 seconds, of which we cannot do anything. rethink that please.
  15. These are some of the dumbest set bonuses I have seen an MMORPG in years. 4 piece bonus that increases the range on vicious throw by 5 meters. That the pvp set. And then a 2 piece bonus that reduces the rage cost of vicious throw by 1. Just wow... hey Bioware. Newsflash. Vicious throw doesnt do very much damage when you cant cast it because your set that you worked your butt of for in no way helps you GET the enemy to sub 20%. Vicious throw is FINE on its own. A more well rounded 4 piece pvp bonus would be something that actually aids in pvp (what a concept). Take for example, DEADLY throw. Given a damage boost, or better heal debuff on that ability, it would actually be very usable in pvp. So, that would make a great candidate for a 4 piece pvp set bonus. I dont know, maybe something like 405-50% heal reduction instead of this measly 20%. Which, by the way, is a subject of its own. Healers are currently unrivaled in pvp because your version of "mortal strike" simply doesnt cut the cheese. As for pve. A 2 piece bonus to lower rage to vicious throw by 1 is, "ehhhhh." There are much better pve moves that could be replaced there. Reduced rage cost by to smash, thus making a properly spec'ed marauder getting a free smash... kinda like a jugg (what a thought). Or perhaps, a lowered cooldown to ravage. Maybe even added crit chance to one or two moves. But not vicious throw. While it does hit hard, its rarely usable. So let's take another look at that whole idea of "buffing" the move via set bonuses.
