I had the exact same thing happen to me. Could have fixed the problem immediately from my phone if I'd known there was a problem, but I was traveling and away from my computer so I couldn't log in. Every other company (and even this one at least once previously) notified me if a subscription failed and told me when/how often they would retry it. I too lost out on these rewards because the system couldn't send a simple email.

As most folks know, the Tionese thru Rakata sets (and their PvP equivilents I think) have their set bonus tied to the shell instead of the armoring. Later pieces have the set bonus tied to the armoring. What this means is that for that tier of gear, you cannot wear whatever armor you choose and still get the set bonus, you have to wear the armor (though you can change out the internals to improve it over time). I suggest adding a vendor (or several) who is in Costume Resale. This vendor would take your piece of Tionese/Columi/Rakata and give you a box instead that contains the mod, enhancement and armoring that were already present in that piece of gear, but with the set bonus attached to the armoring (all bound to your character). You'd lose the shell, but get the internals and have the set bonus transferred to the armoring. Then people could choose if they really like the look to keep the gear as they got it from the vendor on the fleet or to swap it out for other orange gear of their choice.

Not having the legacy level or cash on the PTS to actually see, I had assumed that the one on the ship was the same as the Hutt ones not a combination of both of the faction GTNs. A combined one would negate the Hutts for inter-faction trading and we all know they would never stand for that.
