  1. this means the marauder has eyes in his head ^^ why do people want rock-solid-not-counterable-killing-machines?? that burst helps you in pve most likely but in pvp that would be pretty strong if you can front load everything
  2. everything is so situational, it has nothing to do with l2p issue , you dont allways have ur CDs ready you dont allways see them near fire / acid pools. its a part of that WZ which can be utilized, the range is quite annoying thats true
  3. offcourse u use it than... i mean its the OH **** button the last effort to deal out some damage before u die, or hoping you can get away and a healer might spot u before the 5 secs run out ... you cant allways wait for a full resolve bar before you can pop it. beside i think everyone can kite for 5 secs no? but besides 10 % HP is nothing, most of sorcs, consulars or anyone with a damage over time ets just places the dot on you as soon as they see you pop undying rage and trust me the marauder does not escapes his faith if he aint getting heals.

(referring to some posters) back on topic: Server: Frostclaw Marauders: We have a couple Sentinels: We have a couple i just dont really like to call names, in PVP you cant really tell whos good or whos bad for me teamplay is win and sure i like to team up with fellow marauders and help out new commers to the class if you would ask me who are the best pvpers i gladly call names because of their team performance and play (but guess we have to move this post to pvp section)
  5. well if you wanna mary the cocky imperialist just raise it to max i find the interacting with ur companions awesome, BUT it saddens me that it stops after maxed besidei miss the after marriage conversations : i need to iron while ur out with friends all the time, i feel neglected ....
  6. If ur on frostclaw, let me know this kinda tough talk is so childish , i know a marauder switching back from rakata to BM gear just because of that! u sound ur the only one knowing how to roll ur cds .... makes me giggle, soz! i dont buy ur story for one inch... cool story BRO!
  7. i have same problem, though but i accepted the fact that its more or less our anti - class! yesterday i even experienced it: they have two stuns a short and a long one i have 600 + expertise he pops out of nowhere stuns me and before i can remove the second stun im dead... for some reason i have that ok .. die and go again but at same reason you think: what is his anti class? I mean if you can pump out THAT much damage in 5 secs time comming out of stealth (which is a big advantage) is a bit ridiculous his biggest crit on me was 5168! but i cant really find a way to counter that, because you dont see him comming and in pvp your often focused on objectives. the thing is he rarely gets caught because he kills people so fast that he restealths immediatly after and continues his killing spree i might be doing something wrong i dunno but i feel the OP pain definatly because the second time you come back at a point, you know hes going to pop up somewhere and BAM dead u r ... again without being able to dish out damage and slow is mobility.
  8. idd Pve geared marauders are no match whatsoever (at least thats how i see it in WZs) you get a bonus damage increase as well incomming damage decrease and incomming healing increase you will overcome pve geared players and i find the expertise system here in swtor a lot better than the resilience system in wow (expertise punishes people who enter with pve gear and it doesnt really punishes ur loss of stats as it gets boosted by ur expertise) im not really a calculating expert on this but i really play with feeling and how i encounter players this way, and so far i have more problems with BM marauders than pve marauders lets say.
  9. what i often see is when i enter with BM gear, my opponents seem to have that: BM-tunnel vision syndrome (jump the one with the big red lightsabers), it doesnt matter wether the carrier runs past them , they rather let him run than let me live. it might be a tactic like any other , but eventually i really need to reconcider to get me a healer (which aint easy if ur in pve oriented guild on a pve server :)and which has the same pvp activity as me), and it needs to be a healer with pvp gear . so yes im pugging a lot and sometimes i facepalm and have no healer and die more often = have a lot less damage out put) but with some heals and teamwork everything changes.

  12. or the opponents demolish everyone on huttbal that the game is over before it starts sorc power dashing and passing ^^ but yes you should get at least around 100k
  13. yes i agree knockback happens you cant be aware of everything around you but... even so the fact that knockback is a counter its way to powerfull in Huttball, there is no way you will counter a knockback as a marauder. Eventually the purpose in huttball is still to eliminate the ball carrier, so in my opinion you should be able to counter the knockback as well as they can counter you closing in... in order not to give ur opponent a clear score. as eventually thats what it is knock everyone of and just walk freely to score in voidstar/alderaan i can us the charge as a counter or at least in many different ways on knockback but there, it doesnt feel as important as in huttball (mainly because of the lvl difference of Huttball)
  14. yes Ops are great and propably the best but it feels i cant really trust an ops the reason is their stealth, i dont like to be lure!!!!! not to mention they can restealth so all eyes are back on me but i like to play with dps juggernaut their force choke is fun:p its like hitting a piñata but i feel i can trust him! its maybe an illusion, but often i see people going for the person who looks the most impressive yes lets all hit the juggernaut !!! i just peal them off
  15. well there are defensive skills enough: like BH have their bubble: look i cant be CCed and stopped !!! you have sorcs/sages standing there infront of the fire waiting till their dash CD is off with bubble up and knock people off asoon as someone even makes the attempt to touch him. 5 secs aint long and it makes you re-evaluate what u are doing a marauder isnt going to kill you in 5 secs not with protection some classes have like i have said i have tested it many times on sorcs how many of them just press the skill as an automatism. Force charge -> run -> and than you see them use their knock back totally gone to waste i still find it hilarious like brainless dummies hitting that skill. But for me thats not optimal, sure i dodged the knockback .... but what did i do? my target is still getting away with it as the knock back still has an insane range there is nothing strategic about what they are doing, pressing the skill as soon as they see a red name tag close to them.... thats about it
  16. well another skill? we dont have enough skills to bind it seems just make it a passive effect on Force charge its not really an immunity is it, its just to make the classes with knockback aware that u cant press that skill as an automatism. everyclass with a knockback has triggerfinger for that skill they dont need to think about it they just press it because its that usefull and they dont need to pay attention to anything with the 5 secs you might make them reconcider their tactic, or make them use their brains not to waste an uneeded skill. U will see that when such a thing would be implemented, how many classes with a knockback totally waste the knockback, not thinking what they are doing
  17. titles dont mean anything i have met a war hero sentinel in ilum who says in /say: dont make me kill you (because i charged him and he dies a brutal way. what i do notice is how less damage they do to the player i mean , even saw 242 crits from an assasin makes me wonder wether they invested in wrong stats its weird how ur HP is sometimes faster than the amount they hit you most of the players i encounter on my server i really need to use everything 1 v 1 (if that happens) not to die
  18. I dont want to be blunt but sorcs ok i understand, but ops/scoundrels i have a very hard time to believe you unless they are half death. Or you must encounter seriously undergeared opponents. You have no advantage whatsoever on someone who open on you in stealth. and definatly not against a full BM geared opponent.

I dont have any problems vs most class except ops and scoundrels i know scoundrels and ops who take me to 40% of my Hp before i can even start dpsing than i know i got to bail because im not gonna win because of the simple reason: hes still on full hp, he still can heal, he can still re stealth and re-open and restart the stun chain all over again. not even undying rage will help you out but guess every class has his anti class
  20. with healing debuff, interrupting (force charge as well as disruption) and ur dots ticking with a mix of force choke at the right time a healer should go down. dont forget crippling slash just in case they wanna act clever to dash away ^^ they dont get the the time to properly restore ... and beside that EVEN, lets pretend its a very good healer and you cant get him down easely as long as hes healing himself he aint healing others and that serves its purpose as well i like annihilation in WZs but the self healing isnt really spectacular or you cant really depend on. If you have a 1v1 fight yes it helps, but i experience that as soon as i even look at a healer i get jumped by 3 or 4 others and than the self healing wont help (but eventually i dont mind as i know the reason why they do that is they know that if they let me go on they are left out without a healer). So Annihilation is loads of fun in WZ so many different ways to approach ur enemies! i love to play the pain-in-the-*** type of class, the class which can really pester people leaving the WZ
  21. Well you can earn points when going darkside , she doesnt like the killing parts but generally most conversations you taking the piss with the empire sometimes and that she does like and for the rest treasurehunting ftw im darkside sith and got jaesa and vette on 10k affection
  22. as a melee class i can say that even after the nerf they still manage to nearly kill me! two scoundrels 2 v 2 kill 1 person in 1 stun before a healer can even land a heal or before you can react ^^ i have experienced that in alderaan guarding the turret with someone else. knock down => dead 15k hp down the drain in no time and that with 502 expertise bit silly tbh
