  1. I would like this sticky'd also. It would be interesting if people could continue to add input,
  2. Very tired person here. If it's too hard to read then just move on. Just noticed another Concealment out damage me when I know I am doing more or less what I need to for damage as Concealment. I usually shrug of damage in trade for results, stopping caps, controlling fight, etc and winning 1v1. I'm not aoe after all so winning in dmg seems unlikely and besides, seeking to pad the damage is a sure way to lose a warzone. This guy with good damage beat me in 1v1 twice and it concerned me. I watch his damage and it was %30 over the rest of us pvp geared crowd in regs. Except for the Sorcs. Buff Sorcs! Think the Concealment had 1.4 mil and I had to see what was going on then. I look to see what his gear is and notice %90 accuracy. FFS really? I thought that I scoured around to see what I needed and I never saw anything other than get %95 basic acc. Ok so I must have missed something but what really disappoints is accuracy on pvp gear. If the stat is that abysmal then why would the devs ever want us to choose it? The x2 Dark Reaver Implants (augmented) will be a real PIA to replace. I like regs for fun factor and win or lose despise arenas. I like competition just not arena style. So in regs it's taking me a damn long time to gear up but I'm getting there. It's damn exhausting gearing up this way so to have to backtrack is just depressing. I know they won't refund. I accidentally let 5 pvp weapons expire and they laughed in my face....so to speak. Never got the armor fixed that is torn graphically in a very noticeable way. Also found out too late to buy pvp legacy art for 1000wz comms and not weapons to save comms. I put effort into 9 or so toons but that tips it. Hope to come back and delete this and continue but I doubt it. While this is a qq thread of sorts, I wanted to really get my point across of how customer retention doesn't seem to matter if it costs them time and that's a little sad compared to other gaming companies that go out of the way for the occasional customer screw-up. If they can't afford the customer service costs to handle grievances then why not allow a one special case every 3 months or so? Bioware, you have become heartless imo. I wanted to stick around. No you can't have my stuff.
  3. I do use keybinds and I'm proud to have converted from key turning to mouse turning. I could never go back. My "S" key is used for Cloaking Screen to reduce milliseconds of time. S is fast to get to. I'm getting closer to 50 but my reaction time is good. This can be tested on websites that measure click responses in ms to things that flash on screen. Guess the issue is with my eyes but I still don't agree with the mess of 4v4 close quarters fights. The more open are alright if you like that sort of thing. So what I have learned is to just stick with my strengths. Appreciate the insights.
  4. I was tired when I wrote it since I had done about 25-30 matches in a row of regs and one ranked. I'm certain that I could have streamlined my blurb but didn't think it was far off of being reasonably concise English albeit from a tired person on enough (necessary pain meds) to make everything look perma-hazy. I like the regstar idea but I can't find the guild that is in the 9PM-4AM Pacific time, West Coast PVP server, hint. *pst if you are interested* Appreciate the thoughtful reply.
  5. As it turns out, I am well trained in English. Point out the part you don't understand. I will make it simple. 4x4 bad. Do not like. I like 8v8. I like Open World. Why is 4x4 bad? Design. Please make more pvp but not 4x4. Competitive is good. 4x4 competitive is not good. It's bad.
  6. At least the matches in closed spaces are a mess. Most all are. What I mean is, a pvp match that measures the so-called highest caliber of pvp player is done via 4v4 but 4v4 is like no other pvp because it is (graphically) messy. All 4 usually rush in at once. I would like to see screen captures of what it looks like. Horrible. Unprofessional. I can pvp for hours and my eyes do alright but in 4v4 I can't see what my char is doing. As a Concealment I don't have advantage like Hatred Sin or any other class with aoe or dot spreading. For me I like to cc 2 at once if needed by switching back and forth. Freaking impossible in 4v4 unless you are young with great eyesight. My eyes are good enough for any other pvp but the cluster___ that is 4v4, no. I see same players that I beat or easily hold up to and in 4v4 I don't stand a chance. With 8v8 players are not usually overlapped and if they are they are often doing something wrong like not covering a door or node. It just looks and plays out like a dumb mechanic. I find it hard to believe serious pvpers over 25 can waste their time with 4v4. I'm soon going to run out of interest in this pvp and it saddens me. I have plenty of constructive ideas on how to improve the pvp but it seems that it's a lost cause when the ideas are rarely implemented. What I can tell you for a fact is that people in chat that I have texted frequently are on lookout for another pvp game because the content is too neglected and infrequent. Those same players are looking for a reason to stay. Is it worth losing pvp fanbase over not being able to provide some content?
  7. Lower Light/Dark Requirement Relics because, at least with level 50, there are players spending less time to get there and don't stay 50 very long. This means far fewer will use the Light V or Dark V relics for level 50 because they won't achieve that rank until they are well past 50.
  8. It was through the group finder. Not sure how I am supposed to prearrange anything. If you do tell someone that you want to watch cutscenes it's the predictable hissy fit.
  9. [preamble] I pvp and do missions. There was a time where I did raiding and other instances all week long, just that I did it in other games not in SWTOR. I stopped doing instances even though I really like them. It's because there is almost always someone that rushes me when I watch cut-scenes. I mean the new content has been out for just 2 days and I can't watch a cut-scene? I'm not going to bother saying how annoyed I am because it's rarely polite. What is it with kids these days? Lack of face to face interaction makes people nasty. [end preamble] The suggestion is to have a check-box for choosing that you want to watch the cutscenes. By doing this they play all the way through without a chance to skip. It takes pressure off the viewer and makes both parties happy. There can be a checkbox to join any, both uninterrupted and without cutscenes that way you get in fast as possible. Obviously I could meet people in game and group with them but I find this to be a potential easy to implement feature for us pugs. Does anyone else find themselves in this situation? You want to watch but are rushed and often times insulted for just wanting to watch your first time.
  10. I wasn't aware of this about Assault. Ok I will give it a shot. I want to play a competitive spec. I think that I can find a build for assault, maybe. Thanks for the info.
  11. I have looked everywhere that I know (google) and cannot seem to find a tactics build from this year for pvp. I would like something tested in ranked if you would be so kind. Much appreciated.
  12. This answered it and then some. I will go back to reread in order to absorb some of that info. For now I think that I will specialize split up with 2 characters doing Cybertech, one on Ear and another on Mods and Armor. Of course the rest will just make mats for that. Maybe both can make bombs at same time which would be useful for me and to sell. I want so many of them that I wont hesitate to use them when the impulse arises. But I know know that it's not a complete waste. I probably would have figure that out eventually but I didn't want to get down that road and say, oh man why did i level 2 of the same! -thanks again.
  13. I have some of the same skills for convenience purposes. I didn't want to swap characters to micro manage my crew skills and switch back ad nauseam to my currently played character. Now I question this choice. My real question is, does anyone find it useful to have 2 Cybertech or other crafting skill? Two Biochem or gathering, I get why you would have one on each char if you so choose so I'm not counting those. I'm interested in opinions.
  14. Ok thanks, both of you. This really helped.
  15. Just a "maybe helps"? I'm about to invest in lvl 50 epics for my companion. Being on a pvp server the companion capability matters even more than ever.
