  1. There is also no nested sorting. Anytime a column is sorted, it sub-sorts by character name. Prior if you sorted by member note first and then rank.. the ranks would still be sorted by member note within the new search, as any good sorting system should be. Also, if you sort by guild rank for example, but then want to change that column to 'last played' so you can see the last played time for your trials for example without changing another sorted column, it no longer works as if you change what you want to see in your last sorted column, it will automatically sort by your new choice. As the records officer for our guild, with almost 500 characters on each faction, this renders my ability to keep track of our players activity and ranks almost impossible. Add to that the automatic resorting by character name any time someone logs off or on, the new guild window is utterly and completely broken for anything more than just looking to see who is online.
  2. We're always accepting applicatons, zagitt. Please stop by the website at pillars.enjin.com and fill out an app!
  3. There is only one fully repeatable PVE option, which is crafting war supplies, and the cost of that is prohibitive for a lot of players. Besides the crafting, the only other repeatables are either tied to weeklies, so not really repeatable at all, or dailies (heroics/ops/flashpoints) The warzone repeatable is the only one that can be repeated without any sort of cap. I don't want to see PVP capped , though. I'd like to see the 'must be eligible for the daily' removed from the flashpoint one, so there is an equally repeatable PVE option. Numbers balance would need to be looked at too, but if one aspect has a hard cap and the other does not, then balance will be impossible.
  4. PVP is really the only way to win conquest at the moment. It's the only option that is infinitely repeatable , all of the repeatable PVE options are tied to dailies. I don't think they should limit PVP though, but if PVP is going to be infinitely repeatable then they should remove the 'you must be eligible for the daily reward' from the group finder flashpoint 'repeatable' quest.
  5. Really looking forward to the next leveling pact, great time for new folks to get involved!
  6. Our latest endeavor is to provide a place for people who want to roll up new alts and see the 1-55 content with groups. We'll be having leveling pact characters running together once a week (sat for imp, monday for pub) Groups will vary from week to week, but we hope to have a large pool of characters people reserve for leveling through the story in these events. Check us out if you want to know more.
  7. Just want to point out that our Imperial Side Guild, Ashes of Ashla, is now running 55 ops regularly!
  8. My Operative. Obviously going for the Thrawn look. No red stripes/ropes or armored collars here. Think it works pretty well. Firmus Kartho
  9. Have had a couple potential recruits ask about this, so I thought I'd put it in here. A peek at our forums will show a lot of threads about other games, specifically FFXIV:ARR at the moment. We are in no way leaving SWTOR for any other game. Several of us do play multiple games, and when a new one comes out, we try to organize so that we can play them together. We're very much about community as well as just SWTOR. But SWTOR is our primary focus and nothing that has come out since has been shiny enough to make any kind of dent in our SWTOR presence. We have POA set up in several other games, but it tends to boil down to a place to find friends there. SWTOR is the only game we concentrate on any sort of real organized progression in. So, have no fear , we're here to stay.
  10. One of the things I'm most impressed with in our group, is that we manage to be a large group, but feel close-knit at the same time, a very rare combination in my gaming experience.
  11. for a lot of people the difficutly of the 'hard' missions was not hard enough. The new mission difficulty is good for that. I like that they are difficult and hope they do not make them easier. There are easier ones, there should always be content in a game that is extremely challenging, not content you HAVE to do, but content you can do if you want that kind of challenge.. These new missions were always listed and considered to be 'hard mode' space missions, and if they were any easier, there would be no point.
  12. I would also be willing to pay for species change, I have all 8 slots filled, I just feel that the people this most affects, the serious altoholics, seem to be the EXACT target audience for the legacy system, yet they decide to punish us for not sticking to their development schedule.
  13. Still Broken in 1.1.1 /sad panda. One of the greatest vanity 'pets' in the game, nerfed to hell for a pvp exploit.
  14. That you can rotate the galaxy map by right click-drag. That shift click-drag will split stacks from a vendor as well as in your inventory and let you buy in bulk. That buying craft missions from the GTN for purple mats is usually cheaper than running as many normal missions as it takes to get them. The many uses of the focus target system. That in the /who list the far right field is a pulldown that lets you change it's contents so you can see guild names or other options That trooper/BH and Smugger/Agent ammo/energy regenerates slower the less there is of it. That if you go in the wrong hangar door on the fleet you don't have to go back out, theres an 'inner ring' inside there and all the bays are connected. That armstech was useless at endgame at the moment.
  15. There are two vendors there, the collectors edition vendor and a vip vendor, the vip vendor is accessible to anyone with a wristband. He only has one item at the moment, a very sleek two seat speeder, but hopefully they will add more content in the future when they add more content to the other special vendors.
  16. You can only get something 'new' from RE-ing a purple if the original base item was a blue, in which case both the possible upgrade tiers from reverse engineering (what would normally be blue/purple) will both be purples. You can not 'discover' an orange moddable item by RE-ing a purple, you can only get more specific purples. (example, RE base blue to a 'redoubt' purple, then re redoubt purple into an 'anti-armor' purple) Again, only works if there was never a green version of the item to start from, if there was, then the purple will be the final step (though there are about 15 possible purples that can be discovered from each green you can craft)
  17. I am reminded of the original rocket firing boba fett figure and the people who complained that their kids choked on the rocket and got it changed into the boring non-firing version. One gave you the freedom to play with it however you pleased, WITHIN REASON. The other was an imposed restriction on how you had to play with your toys to keep people who would inevitably play incorrectly from screaming bloody murder and suing the company that made the toy. The people who got suspended are the same little kids that shot that little rocket down their own throats and needed the heimlich 'just because they could' and are the reason that reasonable mmo players can't. have. nice. things. Asking bioware to level lock ilum, or the containers or the like is removing a freedom to play the game in the way they wanted it to be played, it's pretty obvious in the TOS that obtaining things beyond what would be a 'reasonable' capacity for your level is a violation, and from what I gather, those people who have gone to ilum exploring or been 'reasonable' about thier lower level looting have not been suspended. Life is full of opportunities to be unreasonable, just 'because you can' is no reason to think it's your right to do so, especially on someone else's property.
  18. Ok, kind of a complex question. This relates to reverse engineering mods, specifically barrels in armstech, but any endgame level mod could count. Currently the highest level of trainable mod is 22. So the best RE-d skill barrel I could make would be an Advanced Skill Barrel 22 However at level 50 a couple daily quests will net you enough commendations to get an Advanced Skill Barrel 23 I believe the 23 schematics drop in operations, so theoretically you could craft these as well, but if the mats listed on torhead are to be believed they require 2 of the blue drop-only craft mats and 2 of the purple drop-only craft mats, and this is to create ONE of the barrels that you can get with a couple daily quests worth of commendations, so it is completely not worth it. HOWEVER - There are moddable orange guns that you can craft with 400 armstech that come with prototype grade skill barrel 24s in them. Does anyone know, or think it would be possible to pull these blue 24 barrels out of the crafted guns and RE them to learn the purple 24 schematic without having any previous 24 schematic? This would seem to be the ONLY option available as a modification crafter to not become obsolete as soon as you hit 50 and are immediately replaced by purple commendation rewards. Has anyone had any luck RE-ing a mod/enhancement/barrel/hilt/armoring obtained from an item when they didn't already have the base schematic for that item? I've read through the thread and not found anyone commenting on this, aside from some comments on guardian armoring, but in this case I'm referring to a variety of mod that IS normally craftable, just perhaps that you hadn't purchased or tried to RE yourself yet. Hopefully someone will know something about this before I start making millions of credits worth of guns with hard mode drop mats just to yank pieces out in the vain attempt at RE-ing the barrels.
  19. Get in there you big furry oaf! I don't care what you smell! Han - Ep IV
